Serious disharmony between the subtlety of the star (the Cellist) and the supporting cast (the Orchestra ). This was particularly evident in the soft expressive passages for the cellist being (annoyingly) disturbed by the flute. Quite unnecessary. The conductor showing off his orchestra rather than the STAR , the cello , for whom the composer WROTE this Concerto.!
