I hope that they will use some of the workflow and GUI introduced here and use it for Groove Agent 6 that will - hopefully - be released soon.

I'm going to wait a few months before installing C14. But thanks for the video, it's the first one deep diving in the real stuff.

Thanks, hopefully when you get C14 I'll have covered all the new stuff :)

I like the direction Cubase is going with becoming more "rack" based like Ableton and Bitwig, and modular. Even though Cubase calls it a track, it all ends up in the device rack area at the bottom. The downside is DAWs are becoming more alike and just trying to copy features.

I'm blissfully ignorant of all other DAWs. I find it difficult enough keeping up with just one :)

Thanks for another great video. Especially with all the quirks wouldn't it be best just to use Groove Agent ?

More often than not I'm likely to agree with you, but there are a few aspects in which I can imagine the Drum Machine will become my go-to, (mainly for very simple patterns where the overhead of GA is unnecessary).

I’ve been failing to find how to see the cowbell and congas and other percussion I only see the drum kit sounds it’s doing me in.. could you explain how you access them..
Thanks for all making what are my go to tutorials if I really need to know how something works.. Groove Agent series was epic..

Start off with a layer that has an "Instrument" sound (as opposed to a sample). You'll see an image of the kit piece - it could be a kick drum, snare, etc. Click that. Now you'll see a row of 8 kit types. Click "Percussion". There are your cowbells and congas!

Oh I'm not the right person to ask. My answer is "both", and therefore not helpful at all :)
