Thanks for this video. I watched your Halion series and found it great (as usual with your content) but still find Halion pretty daunting so any supplementary videos about specific use cases are a welcome addition to your earlier videos explaining Halion's functions.
Thanks, Antony. You made me understand a lot. Even that Halion7 is of a Byzantine complexity. I also noticed that your sounds are quite different from mine, probably because you have purchased various Steinberg ...sound suites(?) I also have one last question. In my Media Bay there are several sounds exposed with a "Wrong way" sign, which obviously I cannot load. Is there a way to exclude them from the browser? Many Thanks in advance, if you want to answer me. marco spiccio medical doctor & piano player
Thanks for the feedback, I appreciate it! In answer to the red icon of doom question, sadly, no. They typically refer to something that's gone wrong with the Download Manager. Maybe you inadvertently downloaded a trial product and presets got installed that you don't have access to. As far as I'm aware it's because the Download Manager will let you download and install ANYTHING, even if you don't own it, then MediaBay sees that stuff and reports it as inaccessible. The only solution is to uninstall absolutely everything and very very carefully reinstall components one by one (not something I'd do).
I am confused. When I load Halion 7 in Cubase 13 my home screen is not a separate page. How do I get Halion home screen to be in a separate window so I can continue with the tutorial
Click the little home icon at the top left hand of the app. Not sure why it didn't appear, though. I'm sure it did for me the first time I ran Halion (until I clicked the option to hide it).
Thank you so much Anthony. You have actually improved my quality of life with your many clear, informative videos.
That's really kind of you to say, I appreciate it :)
Excellent, I have been stumbling around in Halion for years..that has really clarified a few things for me thanks
You're very welcome :)

Cool, thanks for that :)
Wow 😳, thank you...that is complex but gives me the boost to... jump in 😅if I might say....😊🎉
You’re welcome 😊
I don't have Halion 7 yet, but I'm considering purchasing it
I could never get into it honestly. Might be because i have to many vsts already. Seemed redundant.
Thanks, Antony.

Hi Anthony
When we have a playable drum kit on the keyboard. Can we in Halion assign each sound in this kit to a separate Halion output? Thank you!
Yes (up to Halion's limit of 32 outputs)
Wanneer gaat die montage reclame en vent verdwijnen.

@@OneManAndHisSongs wow you are good & me not so much thanks
I find the word "macro" to be confusing, they should have picked a better word
Yeah it's an odd choice. It usually refers to a set of programmatic instructions, not a UI skin. Maybe it's a translation thing.
