    I love the style of the place you're at. Any chance you could share where you got the pot/plant on the left and art on the wall?

    Can you do a video on Taiwan? They have a territorial tax system. Local tax 20% so worst case you can defer revenue offshore and just pay the 20% salary deposited to your Taiwan bank account for business. low cost of living and high quality of life. Noticed you haven’t done one yet. Im I wrong ?

    So when you get a visa, let’s say through real estate, can you then earn money from Dubai, either working for an international company or finding a job in Dubai? What is a visa worth if you are not allowed to earn money there?

      My wife and I went to Dubai late last year and decided it’s not us. However we just got our Thai elite visa to live. ( move next week ) will likely incorporate a free zone company in Dubai later this year.

    1-year visa is not possible anymore. A lot of people have tried to apply via AMER centre (physicially in Dubai) or online. Rumour has it, it is because there were too many applicants so they are halting any news ones to possible update the requirements

    Hey Mike, Quick question does investing into UAE real estate gives you a better chance of getting Permeant Residency ? or Citizenship?

    • @OffshoreCitizen
      @OffshoreCitizen  ปีที่แล้ว

      You can't get UAE citizenship. They have golden visas, which are their closest version of permanent residence. You can get that by investing 2m AED in real estate

    • @kevincharles5904
      @kevincharles5904 ปีที่แล้ว

      I’ve always seen others say that as well, hence after you finish your golden visa can you apply for permanent residency with the UAE government? I have another question, can the UAE government nominate you for citizenship? If you continuously invested into the country?

    Ive noticed net immigration into Dubai has been falling. This might affect the realestate market?

    • @Man_from_UNCLE
      @Man_from_UNCLE ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Actually the opposite.
      Because the construction industry is in the doldrums and really has been on and off since 2008 with spurts and surges here and there, those poor immigrant workers that you hear about, (yes those that pay tens of lakhs of rupees to agencies just to be able to get to the Gulf) unfortunately (for them) are being forced to return home.
      However, on the other hand, new immigrants, I think last year led by surprise, surprise the Russians (Over 4000 millionaire Russians arrived - not counting the merely average rich ones), followed by Indians, mainly Muslims escaping the Hindu nationalist problems, and the good old British who are merely escaping the absolute sheer incompetence and ineptitude on the part of their successive useless governments. Other Europeans of varying nationalities are not far behind after observing that their also useless inept, corrupt and unelected EU commission are making an absolute mess of everything.
      Another reason for wanting to escape/leave by all nationalities, is that Govts are forcing banks to ask clients where exactly they got that $10, when it is those very politicians in Govts making the rules, who are the very ones that have the secret accounts in Panama or the Cayman Isles, we see when shown up by Wikileaks and other exposes.
      So, to summarise the net immigration is down, but the value of immigrants is much, much higher and incomparable.

      @OffshoreCitizen  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I hope the real estate market goes down but don't see signs of a major drop at this point

    can someone puts me into his company in dubai but i would still live and work remote outside of dubai?
    ofc i have to first go there and get my residency etc..

    • @OffshoreCitizen
      @OffshoreCitizen  ปีที่แล้ว

      You need to visit periodically to maintain the visa but yes that's possible
      The question is partially what you're aiming to accomplish by having the residency if you won't live there?
