    Also a Canadian who moved to the Czech Republic, I just filled out a form to be declared a non-tax resident. The only thing I wish I did was fill it out at the appropriate time as the agent advised me to fill it out when I was just leaving Canada to travel and didn’t have residency anywhere else. But I didn’t need to pay exit taxes. Now I did not have wealth at all. No properties no nothing, so if you’re a normal person you’ll be fine

    Probably the bdst video on YT about setting up shop in Dubai.✌Thx for the boring but super-useful info regarding annual requirements etc. I wish there was more concrete stuff like this on youtube, not just your average "Dubai is cool and zero tax" like the other videos.
    Would love a future video about what accounting/filing corporate tax documents look like, if doing them is like 2 hours DIY, or 4 weeks and 20K with some accountant.

    Do you not pay US taxes as you have a LLC there ? Any reason why you did not set up in the UK? Finally how did you make your UAE company own the US LLC?

    • @tuomaskiv

      No, US LLCs are tax transparent (the owner of it is taxed wherever they are tax resident).

    Hi, Tuomas. Was your online business already generating income before you formed the company in Dubai? Or did you transfer the business to the newly formed company in Dubai? I’m currently building a software and it will still take some time before it generates an income. I want to launch it under a company (possibly via the Estonian e-residency program) and once it generates enough income, I am considering of moving it to Dubai. Do you know if it’s possible to do the company transfer with this free-zone company formation? Thanks in advance!

    • @tuomaskiv

      Yes it was but I was only a sole trader (no registered business) before I came - you would need to look at if there is any exit tax etc considerations when moving the business out of Estonia/wherever - I recommend booking a consultation as this will be case-specific - calendly.com/genzone/dubaisetup

    • @arnoldvosloo220
      @arnoldvosloo220 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@alikhan-bj6zs Brother, 16000 aed is nothing if you're comparing saving that money to buy property in dubai. Average 1bed apartment in downtown dubai is 2.15m aed, 1.6m aed in business bay, 1.65m aed in marina, even almost 1m aed in barsha heights. 16k aed per year doesn't even come close to covering a down payment on any of these properties even if you save that amount per year for decades. @@dropshippingking421 that's not how it works bro, if you're not from the english speaking countries the rules are much simpler, just look around how many digital nomads do it, just don't stay at one place for more than 180 in a year and you can pull it off, just checkout some youtube videos or articles about perpertual traveler
