Lots of Little Lambs among the Finns, and even a stone tree … Join me as we (attempt to) speak the names of long-ago pioneer immigrants from Finland, England, Ireland, Japan, Germany, Switzerland, England, Scotland, and other countries, who helped establish Placer County as the heart of California gold mines, granite quarries, a transcontinental railroad hub, as they lost babies and raised cattle and crops in the fertile lands of Placer County. Description
Get outside with the Original Muddypaw - Made in the USA, meandering in Northern California. I've been the Original Muddypaw for lo these many years (40+!) and love getting outside for walks, day hikes, exploring, and magnet fishing. I spent decades as a dog trainer (trainer of people to train their dogs) and I love animals of all shapes and sizes ... however, I have no urgent desire to be chased by one in the woods! My goal is to bring the outdoors in for those of you who can't/don't get outside much and to keep it family-friendly. I'm also an Associate Marriage & Family Therapist, and Certified Life Coach, so you might get a few Mental Meanders thrown in for good measure. Hopefully, you'll have fun tagging along.
