There is something comforting about having JRE back on TH-cam. Its like a feeling of returning home or seeing a good friend again. A feeling that everything will be okay
King of Queens will forever be my comfort go-to sitcom. Such good writing and its apparent Kevin James wrote a lot of it through his bits and the character being a close resemblance of himself.
Kevin James is like a golden retriever of a human. Friendly, funny and just wants to make everybody happy. So genuine it's impossible not to like the guy
I've been watching him since comedy central presents I think and I have never heard or seen this man do anything negative in nature lol even his comedy is clean, him and Brian Regan.

Mine too! I literally watch it every single night on peacock before bed. I start from season 2, watch all the way through most of season 9, then start back at 2 lol. For some reason in between like 3-8 are my favorites.

When Arthur and the shoe salesman where trading Normandy war stories the shoe salesman said he had it worse because his unit took more casualties and Arthur said “you think it was easy for us tripping over your dead bodies” was the funniest sitcom line ever.
Man sweat the small stuff was my first special that I Obsessed over. Watched that shit dozens of times when I was younger. Saw him live last year and he crushed it. Can't express enough how badly you need to see him live. It was just after we found out dads cancer came back...and we had always gone to a lot of comedy shows, saw Kevin was coming to town... and it was like the small little glimmer of enjoyment we had for March of 23...really it pulled us out of a deep funk, even if for just an hour...getting to hear a couple extra laughs out of him was huge. Especially now that he's gone. Thank you doesn't cut it...
Kevin hit the nail on the head when he talked about not having community around him to hype him up not just as comedian but for working out too I think alot of people are out there in that same situation.
Kevin James is such a down to earth normal dude. It's so awesome. Always felt like he was authentic on screen. Listening to him talk about his struggles like all of us face is so relatable and made me love him even more. Can't wait to see him on his tour
Kevin James as Doug Heffernan is responsible for more true belly laughs from me than anyone or anything else in the world. He was incredible on the show and, in my humble opinion, King of Queens is the greatest sitcom ever made.
My dvd set of the entire series is full of scratches from how much I've left them out on rotation. That entire cast is perfect for their part. Jerry Stiller has a direct link to my funny bone. His role as Arthur, is his finest hour of his career for me.
This is so refreshing hearing Kevin talk about his anxiety going up on stage. So often, we view comedians as having this extreme level of confidence so it really is a breath of fresh air to hear that Kevin struggles with the same things smaller comics deal with. Dude I have it too. I lost 60 lbs in the last year and I put on some muscle and I look in the mirror and I don't see a difference. There's times I look bigger. The only time I can see that I've truly lost weight is look down my shirt when on an elliptical or treadmill and can see how loose my shirts have gotten and remember how tight they looked. I stay away from scales. They discourage the fxck out of you. Just cause u didn't lose weight but put in a ton of work over a couple weeks and ate clean and basically it's bc you're turning the fat into muscle an muscle weighs more than fat. Just keep up the work man..don't let it discourage it.

Man sweat the small stuff was my first special that I Obsessed over. Watched that shit dozens of times when I was younger. Saw him live last year and he crushed it. Can't express enough how badly you need to see him live.
It was just after we found out dads cancer came back...and we had always gone to a lot of comedy shows, saw Kevin was coming to town... and it was like the small little glimmer of enjoyment we had for March of 23...really it pulled us out of a deep funk, even if for just an hour...getting to hear a couple extra laughs out of him was huge. Especially now that he's gone. Thank you doesn't cut it...

Kevin James as Doug Heffernan is responsible for more true belly laughs from me than anyone or anything else in the world. He was incredible on the show and, in my humble opinion, King of Queens is the greatest sitcom ever made.
My dvd set of the entire series is full of scratches from how much I've left them out on rotation. That entire cast is perfect for their part. Jerry Stiller has a direct link to my funny bone. His role as Arthur, is his finest hour of his career for me.

This is so refreshing hearing Kevin talk about his anxiety going up on stage. So often, we view comedians as having this extreme level of confidence so it really is a breath of fresh air to hear that Kevin struggles with the same things smaller comics deal with. Dude I have it too. I lost 60 lbs in the last year and I put on some muscle and I look in the mirror and I don't see a difference. There's times I look bigger. The only time I can see that I've truly lost weight is look down my shirt when on an elliptical or treadmill and can see how loose my shirts have gotten and remember how tight they looked. I stay away from scales. They discourage the fxck out of you. Just cause u didn't lose weight but put in a ton of work over a couple weeks and ate clean and basically it's bc you're turning the fat into muscle an muscle weighs more than fat. Just keep up the work man..don't let it discourage it.
