It’s so refreshing and reassuring to hear smart, funny and analytical people have a conversation. In a society that glorifies the Kardashians and is obsessed with sexuality, it brings hope to my heart to know that not everyone is dumb AF.
"This is what we're faced with-- our personalities get Yelped." Holy shit. I know that was a throwaway comment off-the-cuff, but that is so fucking spot on.
There is something strangely comforting about listening to someone who has thought things through. Who got through a moment of trauma. The thing about hearing and seeing people like Dave Chappelle ,who is a normal guy. I paint and refurbish terrible apartments and am a normal guy. It would be great to live next door and just say hello to Dave like I do to everyone else when I get my morning coffee at the shop. Morning Dave
No my friend. We live in a day were we cannot handle the truth. This is why politicians win, they lie. Dont blame the politicians, blame the people. People will not vote for people who dare to tell the truth. Its not all black and white either. The world is mostly grey. But the grey stay out the way
Nice to hear good conversation from smart people that is "pure". Always genuine, honest, trustworthy, unconditionally insightful with a comical view. That's a positive for me.
Masters of true conversation. U know one talks, The Other One Listens!!! Actually remembering what the other one says and commenting to evoke a sense of comprehension and respect, for the purpose of continuing said conversation… The world IS due for our next recycling event (humans, priorities,) just exchanging one for the other till we all join together. Conversations INCLUDE arguments. There are many good arguments also nice to watch. People Who Communicate are Necessary 😊
Two guys, having a genuine conversation, that happens to be recorded. Dave Chappelle is a great mind. I'm not talking academia, but just speaking truth. Great show.
I love the fact that Dave points out the insanity of choosing to no longer be friends with someone because of how they vote. He could take a side, he could further the divide, he chooses not too. Much respect to Dave for taking the side of humanity. The way our corrupt media has been able to divide Americans so much is one of the saddest things I've ever witnessed. I've lost respect for many well known people who encourage the divide even though it's tearing the country apart. It doesn't matter which side you're on or if it's neither, you should recognize the manipulation that is going on. Nobody should support people that push division, those people have an agenda, they are the enemy.
and all those people claiming their 'side' is the only way to save the country, and the other is going to ruin it, neither seeming to want to face the fact that neither side is going to help anything, really. We need a full reset, and adjustment to how things work before anything will actually change for the better.
Yeah if it’s really just because of how they vote but I’ve broken it off with ppl that are just insane with believing all the lies from their tv. One, I brought the receipts proving what she was fed by msm was a lie she screamed everything I’m saying is a lie. I broke it off right then and there. I can’t be friends that can’t think for themselves and get so emotional they ride the edge of insanity. Same folks that bragged how they jumped ahead of thousands of ppl in line for clot shot.
100% The media constantly pushes hate and fear against the other party. Making EVERYTHING political. I hate it. Dividing us daily. And if you watch everyday, you become brainwashed to one side and can't see 1% of the other side. Get out of the echo chamber people. Life is great! AMERICA IS GREAT, no matter who is president.

This is exactly the kind of genuine, insightful conversation we need more of - two solid guys just having real talk without any hidden agendas. If the kids can grow up with role models like them, we’re doing something right. And props to Dave Chappelle for being such a down-to-earth guy.

Dave has such fabulous intellect yet he has to be silly, it's as if the funny is a natural resource that bubbles up in the most serious of conversations and he can't avoid being that way. Truly a delight to see him like this in open conversation were he's just being himself yet still popping off zingers that hurt you laughing.
I met Dave in LAX waiting for my mom. He walked up to the limo drivers holding signs and at first I thought he was joking like every other person who walked up to them pretending to be the person on their sign. Then I looked at the limo driver signs and saw Chappelle. This was back in his Chappelle show days. He ended up staying there talking to all of us for a while until his wife came up. Super genuine guy. Naturally funny. I had him sign the Hare Krishna book I just bought from some guy at the airport.

Sammmeeee, got it today
I just got it today 24+ hrs after you
Same wth
Yooo faaacts me too
It’s so refreshing and reassuring to hear smart, funny and analytical people have a conversation. In a society that glorifies the Kardashians and is obsessed with sexuality, it brings hope to my heart to know that not everyone is dumb AF.
What do you mean sexuality? I bet David is pushing 10 inches. Remember Joseph talking about his hog being watched?
Amen!
Amen to that
Time to let the kardashians go man. They haven’t been relevant for years.
"This is what we're faced with-- our personalities get Yelped."
Holy shit. I know that was a throwaway comment off-the-cuff, but that is so fucking spot on.
I hope Dave reads this comment….I LOVE YOU DAVE CHAPELLE! You are an icon and a humble one ❤
We live in a time when comedians speak more sense than politicians. Dave Chappelle is proof of that.
That’s always been the case.
George Carlin’s bits were filled with brutal honesty
ever hear of George Carlin?
No my friend. We live in a day were we cannot handle the truth. This is why politicians win, they lie. Dont blame the politicians, blame the people. People will not vote for people who dare to tell the truth. Its not all black and white either. The world is mostly grey. But the grey stay out the way
@@tballgame8yes.
Dave's disbelief while saying "They MeToo'd Ghandi?!" fucking SENT me, lmao
Couldn't have said it any better
and all those people claiming their 'side' is the only way to save the country, and the other is going to ruin it, neither seeming to want to face the fact that neither side is going to help anything, really. We need a full reset, and adjustment to how things work before anything will actually change for the better.
It's so true man. I swear people treat politics like sports teams. Gets ugly.
Dave chapelle is a hero of mine. First reason, so funny. Second reason, wise. Third reason, inspiring.
Very wise
Very inspiring
Very gay…… I’m rich bitch

@1:16:30 .... Watch Dave , One of the most naturally talented comedians EVER , Look upwards as he took a second to ask God if he will allow him to do what he loves most for another 20-30+ years . That's why I love both of these guys . Both LEGENDS !!!
This IS 3 years old. This is #1647..... new is #2171.
Still love it of course.
I was saying this has to be old and they just released it. Just the way they're talking about covid and the economy, shits a lot worse now just without a weaponized virus 😂
@@DollopOfDani444 And don't forget the train wreck that is Biden
Still a nice post
Yeah the rona comment at the beginning dated it
I was wondering why they were talking about covid like it just ended
Dave Chappelle is a smart man. Respect to the dude. Very down to Earth and sensible.
He appreciates Knowledge
1:47:29 such genuinely true words. These men are the best. So grateful to live in an age where I can watch and learn mountains of information, while being entertained at the same time. Thank you, gentleman.
18:09 I love how he holds his cigarret like a join
“Our personalities get Yelped.” 😂
I love Dave Chappelle. So smart, talented and full of integrity. Lola loves Dave. 😊❤
The good thing about these old podcasts dropping is you decide to listen to them again, and maybe you’re distracted or whatever, but you forget or somehow miss how good they were in the first instance. This was one of those.
When did it originally air?
Someone said that already
This is exactly the kind of genuine, insightful conversation we need more of - two solid guys just having real talk without any hidden agendas. If the kids can grow up with role models like them, we’re doing something right. And props to Dave Chappelle for being such a down-to-earth guy.
There's something in the eyes of Dave Chappelle that tells you he's genuinely a good human being.
JAMIE IS GENIUS!!! The release date on all of these recent uploads say from past years, which means Jamie saved them and posted them privately so that when the Spotify deal changed, all he had to to do was change the podcast episodes from “private” to “public” instead of reuploading them individually
It says 28th of July for me
@@Waldo4k release date, not upload date
@@Hear2Listenn ahhh okay, my bad gang
It delivered. Expected nothing less. Best 3 hour conversation I have overheard in years. Lol.
I absolutely love Dave Chapelle ❤ he's a hilarious comedian but I love him as a person most, all of his interviews are so REAL!!
It's 3 years old but def still cool to see the whole thing. FYI, some of the short clips of this whole interview has millions of views.
Released 07.05.2021
That explains the convo about masking and testing- I was like WTF???
Thankyou! I kept saying this has to be old😅
I was wondering the date. Thank you.@nyChannel09
Wtf??
Joe Rogan and Dave Chappelle talking comedy on all aspects should be a podcast in its own!! Legends of the 2000 era 🫡
#1996 ❤
God, Chapelle is so sharp - love this guy.
Like Joe says it's like just sitting in the room with Joe & Dave and chilling out and chewing the fat and it's enjoyable and entertaining I love it thank you Joe , I'm 20 miles outside London England and I just love the USA and so glad Joe is still on YT
Win -win when I can listen and these two smooth voices put my toddler to sleep 😂 😅
Dave is the jester who turns out to be the wisest in the room
Yes here one can really see that he is on another level that is almost hard to comprehend amazing person
Jesters had to make Kings laugh about their own Kingdom without being offed.
They Had to be the smartest dude in the room.
Dang the first second out the gate and Chapelle drops a wisdom gem
"I processed it with the alchemy of levity"

Lol😎
As a TURK who idolises Chapelle and Rogan, this video made me come several times. All jokes aside I love and respect these 2 legends. I hope the world was run by people like these.
"They me-too'd Ghandi?!?" LMAO🤣 @ 13:03
Man, Joe and Dave are two guys i would love to hang with, it sounds like they had a great time together.
Just listen to this entire podcast on my headset , riding around on my forklift at work... Awesome
He's such a beautiful human. He looks at life in a way that we all should. In a sense he's a philosopher and a comedian. Just my opinion.
there isn't a comedian ALIVE or DEAD that speaks about the "Genre", comedy, with as much passion as dave chappelle. And thats why he is the GOAT
Check out @akablackzeus on instagram and TH-cam! Great comedian as well with same passion as Dave !
One of many greats
He is the greatest because he educates you while he is making you laugh. SUBSTANCE. 😊
"Processing something with the alchemy of levity" not even a few minutes in and his brilliance shines through❤
Dave freaking Chappelle..The absolute GOAT!!!
This whole thing played without commercial and I loved that!!! I even left out several times and came back and whenever I pressed play again it played without commercial ❤❤❤❤
The old episode's have been unhidden!! I just found my fave episode 1312 available again after years of being unable to access!! This is great!!

Dave is one of the most brilliant, educated and well-rounded, humble and loveable people I have the privilege of knowing. Him and Joe are without a doubt the only celebrities I can wholeheartedly and proudly call my heroes. There is a lot to learn from this conversation alone. I really needed the excitement I felt from this episode. I'm so grateful for this.
First of all, Dave Chapelle! 5 days ago ?!! I checked Spotify and I was like how can I miss that and there’s nothing there, no Dave Chappelle episode. Come back to TH-cam and this is episode 1641 so is this old? What is going on? I don’t care it’s Dave Chappelle. Play! 🎉🎉🎉
dave chapelle for president 2024 hes the only one i trust lol
Yea from 2021 I had to double check that too because right at the beginning he says “I’m tired of all this Rona talk” and corona hasn’t been. A subject in a long time

Joe rogan soo smart thank you both one of the BEST 3 HOURS OF MY LIFE
Two dudes just chilling chatting. Love this, respect this.
(Fingers) to start the interview off was classic Dave Chapelle 😂
Joe Rogan has the knack for deflecting and redirecting the conversation.. He's like a king. I admire it. I'm taking lessons.😊
This is one of the best Joe roga episodes I've ever seen. Been a big fan of dave waaaaay before this and knew he was a much deeper person than most people thought, but this really brought it home.
Two goats, sitting on a mountain, sharing each other's perspective. What a good episode.
I’m gonna caress you down!
Poetry in motion my man
First 20 seconds and Dave's got me laughing with the mask thing 😂.
Dave just seems to be level-headed and forward-thinking and has gleaned wisdom from his life
Dave has such fabulous intellect yet he has to be silly, it's as if the funny is a natural resource that bubbles up in the most serious of conversations and he can't avoid being that way.
