Adam I hope you see this.. you restored my faith in humanity. I was laid up in the Grossman burn center in the valley. Two of your stuntmen had suffered minor burns while filming a movie. You came into see them and I heard you out in the hall. I sent my mom out there to go get you, all I said was "thats Adam Sandler, I would know that voice anywhere, if you go ask him he will come in here." You came in and tripped on my oversized shoes I had to wear over my bandages, made a joke about them and we all laughed. Then you took a photo with me and left. It meant the world to me, because at the time most of the people that I knew had left me to die, or had written me off as dead to them. It only took a few minutes of your time, but I think about you every day. A few months later I ended up in a room with one of those stuntmen on my birthday for another surgery. When I came to after the surgery, I discovered that his partner had went to get me a personal birthday cake and a card. Those two small acts of kidness were my light in the darkness. Thank you Adam, youre a wonderful human being and I wish you all the happiness in the world.❤

I love how Adam Sandler was being so kind to Chris Farley's memory by changing the subject immediately when Joe started talking about seeing Farley all strung out on the set of his show. What a good friend, what a decent guy
@@CLDoranbecause it’s the truth . He was a severe addict who displayed it outright. Speaking Farleys name and now addressing that his whole career he was high af! If Adam was a good friend to Farley maybe he should have intervened in his drug abuse . Just saying
@@KatherineM-it’s called having some empathy & respect, especially when it’s a remarkably emotional subject for the person he’s talking to. Read the room, dude
Notice how at the very beginning when Adam says thanks for having me & excited to be there, he turns his head towards Jamie to address him, also. Whenever a guest takes the time to address/acknowledge Jamie, they instantly become cooler in my eyes. Shows they’re still down to earth people.
Adam might be the most down to earth guy to ever break into Hollywood. Absolute genius. One of the most creative and funniest guys in the world for 30 years. Always takes care of his friends. Never takes any credit for anything he does. Always gives it when it's due. He seems like a really solid guy.
Notice how Adam Sandler interview has almost 8 millions views which is almost 6 more million views than a lot other guests he’s had on lately. That just shows how many people love Sandler! One of the comedy GOATS without a doubt. His 90’s movies and early to mid 2000s movies will never get old!
I met Adam Sandler on the street in downtown Beverly Hills walking home from work. He is a genuinely nice person. He asked me about my day at work and was genuinely interested in what i had to say and have just a basic conversation. Funny guy, extremely polite, and doesn't flash his money. 💎🙌
Alice Cooper is very similar. I met him at an antique store in Arizona. He kept chatting with me about both of us being from Michigan. Even remembered playing in my hometown in the 70s or 80s. Awesome dude. Legit wanted to talk to me.
I pulled up this video and realized the perfect gift for my buddy and his daughter. All the adam sandler movies in order of release date on a hard drive so they can watch them together. Maybe not uncut gems until shes older.
That was my take away as well. Almost annoyed me how awkward he got any time somebody else was being spoken of. But it’s such a good quality I had to remind myself it’s only annoying because its so taboo. And that bothered me
You commend the host and the guest for not commenting on politics, but then for some reason you felt a need to bring up politics? Congrats for being a D bag.
Adam played football with and by some weird down the pipeline thing knew my father, as we are native from New Hampshire. In 2008 my father was killed in Afghanistan, and immediately afterwards Adam reached out to my family and offered to take us on vacation to get away from things. He flew me, my step mother, and 3 siblings out to Los Angeles for a week; took us on the red carpet with him for a movie premiere and to the after party afterwards. He bought my siblings gifts, and introduced us to the happy madison family. His team introduced me to Chester Bennington of Linkin Park at a party and I will NEVER forget that. Adam still occasionally calls on holidays and leaves messages for my family. He is a legend and so incredibly selfless. To this day I still talk to members of his team, and occasionally still get invited to amazing events! Such a good guy.
He took u an your siblings to a. "pizza" party., chester was probably there to get info. He was killed because he was coming out with shit about elite and celebs sex trafficking kids an molesting them
Me and my closest friend would watch Adam Sandler movies almost nonstop. I never found him to be the most funny. But its his character that brings him out as a comedian. One of the few shining lights in my dark childhood. My friend, unfortunately, is gone. But that memory permeates anytime I even hear his voice. Glad he made it on here once.
Yup, I'm 38 and I grew up on Sandler. First I remember my mom rented Billy Madison for me to watch when I was in the second grade, so probably 95 right after it came out, then I started watching all his SNL stuff. Then of course Happy Gilmore and the rest is history.
He did a gig at my college once where I worked event staff/security. I heard from multiple people that he was the same person as he was on TV. He even snuck up on someone and scared him lol.
I watched this really fucking high, but Adam Sandler literally sounded like a dude who was trying to exit a conversation every time Joe was talking lol the whole time when joes talking he’s saying “oh man” “wow” “oh really” “that’s crazy” “ah” “oh yeah” “yes” “yep” “yes absolutely” “oh that’s crazy” lmao every time joe says something🤣 maybe because im stoned but it really stands out haha
I still remember listening to Adams Comedy album "they're all gonna laugh at you" and "what the hell happened to me"; It was like South Park before South Park. It felt like I was listening to some forbidden stuff back in the day. Amazing.
The way Adam diverted from talking about Chris Farley when he was going through addictions was very classy. You can tell he loved him and didn't want to speak badly of the man.
Not just farley - any time Joe started talking about some of the struggles or negative elements surrounding other people (not even in a disrespectful, even), you could tell Adam got uncomfortable. That says VOLUMES about his character as a person. Great man.

I loved this interview because we rarely get to see Adam just be Adam for this long of a period of time. This just feels like 2 guys having a great conversation.
Honestly I think Joe's best interviews are people like RDJ, matthew mcconaughey and other people like Adam who are used to having there conversations edited. They seem much more genuine.
"Adam Sandler churning out Billy Madison, Happy Gilmore, The Wedding Singer, The Waterboy & Big Daddy in a 4 year span is like Jordan's run from 1991-1998."
Absolutely love Adam sandler. I’ve seen all of his movies dozens of times. A couple of them I’ve seen hundreds of times. “That’s my boy” is my new favourite could watch it every day.
I met Adam a few years back at an air port and I didn't wanna bother him because I was really nervous but I walked up and said "I'm not gonna ask you for a picture I just want to let you know I love your work" He was very grateful for the complement, talked to me and was just so human. Adam Sandler is a very good guy and deserves everything he's got
I'm curious, did you also grow up speaking english? Or did you watch the movies with captions? I'm only asking because I've always imagined that it's harder to appreciate the delivery if it's in another language. Reading the captions probably makes it harder for the jokes to hit the same way, at least I assume
It seems like Sandler is in that Keanu Reeves category where he’s basically universally liked and nobody has ever had a bad experience with him. Gotta love that.
I dunno. I feel like if one of his movies was coincidently named after u & you've had to hear ppl telling u about it since the 90's, it might garner some resentment towards Adam 🤷
Adam Sandler is the most humble rich person of all time, the things he does behind the scenes is unreal, he is truly one of a kind. I remember many years ago, I was going through a dark place, substance abuse, I ended up on the streets. Adam came across me in a parking lot and he let me be his golf caddy at his first golf tournament where he beat Shooter McGavin on the 18th hole.
Years ago, my father's best friend Joe Titone's daughter started dating a young Adam Sandler, who was then making his mark on Saturday Night Live. Like any protective father, Joe worried she might get swept up in the "Hollywood thing," as he would say. It's heartening to see that not only has Adam's marriage stood the test of time, but it has also seemingly thrived. I just watched his new Netflix special, and the way he speaks about his friends and the heartfelt way he greets his wife at the end of the show really highlights what a genuinely good person he is. Thank you, Adam, for spreading so much joy in this world.
i grew up on Adam Sandler. I use lines from his CDs in my daily life, it's weird how much of an impact this man has had on my life. I used to fall asleep watching Happy Gilmore every night. Crazy talented man.
I was born in 85 and grew up watching Sandler. Started on SNL, then I had all of the movies on VHS, AND DVD. I even got into his music/skit albums, and still throw on “What the Hell Happened to Me?” when I need a good laugh. I had pneumonia on Christmas break my junior year of HS and watched Mr. Deeds on repeat lol. More recently “Uncut Gems” was great. Adam is a genuinely good dude. I love seeing videos of him playing basketball and interacting with fans. He comes across as very humble and gracious, and treats people with respect. Hard not to like the guy.
One year after born 86 basically the same story as you. When I was a kid listened to that album until it basically burned out. He is a real one humble guy never changed
I love how Sandler handles every conversation about his friends, especially Farley. Preserving and respecting Chris' legacy is important because he is a pioneer/pillar in comedy. Nobody can do it like Chris Farley and Adam is an amazing friend that pays tribute to his amazing soul every chance he gets. RIP Chris Farley you're dearly missed he would've been bigger than most of these guys
This is wild af. My childhood legend. Literally watched every single thing with him. Adam Sandler is Goated, some may think otherwise, but shit man, he deserves his flowers. Thank you Joe!
I showed my daughter “the wedding singer” when she was 3 years old. She is now 12 and we watch it at least every other month. She now knows every line of the movie and til this day it brings us laughter. Thank you Adam Sandler❤
Sandler is so humble. In the beginning of the podcast, he seemed nervous... and of course Joe is so chill and put him at ease... so full of compliments. These two guys. I smiled for the whole two hours. Everything about it.
Had no expectations for this episode. Grew up watching his movies non stop as a kid in the 90s. And now I like/respect him more than I used to. Awesome podcast.
I was watching Bernie Sanders on Theo Von and was amazed at the quality of questions coming from Theo. Made me nostalgic for old Rogan when he would let the guest cook and ask the occasional poignant question. I feel like the moment it changed was the RZA episode that Donelle ruined. After that it stopped being the Joe Rogan Experience and became the Joe Rogan Show. Almost wonder if Joe was taking Provigil for a while and stopped.
as a huge Sandler fan, I'm disappointed Joe had to try and prove he was a real comic the whole time, like jeeeze, let Adam take the wheel!? let him speak!?
Adam Sandler, the legend. How he remains so humble is beyond me. Adam Sandler reminds me Keanu Reeves. Anyone other than me wishing for Keanu Reeves does a podcast with Joe?
I’m 34 and the older I get the more I realize how big of a fan I am of Adam Sandler. I grew up with his movies. Big Daddy is one of my favorite movies of all time.

Adam Sandler… The most humble Comedian actor to exist. Dude started his own production company and hired all his comedic friends for roles consistently for decades. He is and always will be the real deal. Comedians today wish they were half the man Adam is.

Adam is one of my all time favorite actors. All his early movies are classics and he’s still putting out bangers. Dude doesn’t miss. Seems completely normal and you got to respect how loyal he stays to his bros. Never been involved in a single scandal or hit piece. Extremely rare qualities in the movie business today.
My stepdad was a private contractor and repiped 2 of Sandlers homes. One in Malibu and one in Pacific Palisades. He was so proud to work for him. Sandler would actually interact with, joke and talk to the crew. And he even allowed my stepdad to move his wifes Range Rover so he could offload his tools and material. 😂 A family favorite right here. Sandler is awesome. And his wife was a pothead 😎

As a kid my buddy brought an Adam Sandler tape. We listened to it and laughed historically to the end. Later we saw him on SNL and loved his skits. We then saw his comedies in the theaters and loved them. He would quote Sandler all the time and i would always crack up. One day we went and saw Punch drunk love and we were blown away by Adam's acting and how great the movie was. We talked for a few hours about it afterwards. He passed away a few years ago and now i feel so many emotions when i see Sandler. I recently found that original Sandler comedy cassette. I bought a tape player to see if it would play. I listened to it beginning to end and laughed and thought back about my friend and how special some people are.
My cousin and I used to listen to his comedy cds too and laughed our asses off as well and would copy what he'd do on tape recorders and shit. I don't even remember what all we did, but we just had a great time, and it was around the time we started smoking weed too lol

You can tell Adam Sandler’s a legit good guy, humble, down-to-earth, and always helping people out. Loved hearing those behind-the-scenes stories. It was kinda surprising but refreshing to hear him curse and just be one of the guys. We’re so used to seeing him in movies where he doesn’t do that a lot, it was cool to see this side of him. I love how Adam Sandler was being so kind to Chris Farley's memory by changing the subject immediately when Joe started talking about seeing Farley all strung out on the set of his show. What a good friend, what a decent guy
I could tell he was uncomfortable! Surprised Rogan seemed unaware of that sensitive topic.
There’s so much to talk about concerning Farley. So many legendary skits and Joe has to talk about him looking sick toward the end of his life. Wtf

Whenever a guest takes the time to address/acknowledge Jamie, they instantly become cooler in my eyes. Shows they’re still down to earth people.
Yeah man, Sandler is a class act. Fucking cool and humble dude.

Adam might be the most down to earth guy to ever break into Hollywood. Absolute genius. One of the most creative and funniest guys in the world for 30 years. Always takes care of his friends.

My cousin and I used to listen to his comedy cds too and laughed our asses off as well and would copy what he'd do on tape recorders and shit. I don't even remember what all we did, but we just had a great time, and it was around the time we started smoking weed too lol
@@chetrodell Yes! I had that cd too.
Great story man thanks for that
Sandler isn't dead he's on the podcast right here
I love that joe has Adam on and we get to hear all the things we've heard about joe hundred times over
Yea because he’s talking to Adam not us we’re literally just listening nothing else
Us New Englanders are some of the realest, most genuine, good people you will ever meet naturally humble, all love from Vermont, this guy was literally my whole childhood
Crazy we have someone like Adam Sandler on the podcast and still talk about joes old stand up stories
🤦♂️exactly
Joe is catering to Adam not the audience. Also Adam doesnt strike me as someone who wants to sit and rant. He needs to have the conversation led.
@@j1j1j1j1j1 I get what you’re saying but he still could have led him somewhere that didn’t go back to himself 👀👀
Maybe it’s just me but Adam seemed genuinely interested in Joe’s stories. He seems like a genuinely humble guy.
He was definitely excited to be on the show and talk comedy.
Go back to the 90s material😂😂😂
“Awww horse-shit!!”
Eh idk there's a lot of videos of him being horrible to fans
@@connorryan-fm6hyCan’t be perfect everyday 🤷♂️
The amount of good interactions seemingly outweigh the negative ones by quite a bit.
😂 "you get your ass out there and you find that fuckin dog!"
Finding out Sandler says ‘fckn’ a lot makes me so happy 😂 I was born in 1990, this dude was & is everything to us
Pure gold, " EvERYTHING" he truly is the best I agree , 1989 here
1990!
That's true New Hampshire, it's used as a noun, verb, adverb adjective on a daily up there.
His album popularized "Fuck you, you fucking fuck" -toll booth Willie

Moderation is the key to success.
Way back when, I wanted to gain weight and put on muscle. My wife? Wanted to to lose weight and trim up.
She bought into the weight watchers plan. We both followed the plan but I trippled the same meal plans. We both worked out at the local gym. She did cardio and aerobics and I hit the weight room.
I was taking supplements as well. Amnio acids and others to help my recovery.
Went from 5 11 buck 40 to 185 and shredded. Benching 275. Squatting 350. Overhead press 225.
Doing dips with two wheels.
She dropped 30 lbs. Went from 5 2 160 to 5 2 130 all with the amazing 36-24-26 hour glass ⌛️ figure.
Good times.
I love how humble Adam Sandler is. he is one of the most successful comedic actors of all time and he doesn't brag, he's not egotistical he listens, he doesnt put others down l. I wish more famous people were like him.
My brother and I used to watch Adam Sandler movies together all the time. We ended up getting separated in our teen years and Sandler movies always make me think of him. Love Adam Sandler!
Find your brother 🙏
Funny I did the same with my step bro, good ole days.
13:45 Adam showing his utmost anxious human self, rocking back and forth, looking down, and changin tones....u gotta love this guy for being him
Sandler is such a lovable icon. No one can hate him. He also doesn’t talk politics which is amazing. As a 90’s teen, his movies mean the world to me. On those rare days that are really bad, I turn on one of his movies and the anxiety melts away. Can’t wait to introduce my 4 year old to his entire catalogue when he’s older. My son loved Leo!!
He’s conservative so he knows he’ll lose deals if gets political
I can't believe Joe Rogan finally got Joe Rogan on the Joe Rogan show
Nice
Huh
😂 I think adam is a bit shy too tho
My thoughts exactly
Dude what's he suppose to do when Adam Sandler's swinging the questions right back at him every so often? he's got to answer right? What I do agree is that Rogan maybe should have had a few more questions in the pipeline so we could have gotten a more deeper look into Adam Sandler.
The world is in turmoil , everyone seems to turn on each other and this podcast has NOTHING but positive comments….. comedy Unites everyone!! God bless Rogan and Adam to make my day better !! 🙏❤️
Sandler will always be one of the greats. Dude went full circle then stayed on top.. the definition of perseverance and staying humble and being a real person all the way..
My dad had my brothers and I watch ALL the Adam Sandler classics as a kid. We loved them so much, we'd watch them on repeat and my dad being a cinephile and just happy that we liked the movies he showed us, would sit down and watch them with us every single time. He unfortunately passed away this summer but I am so glad to have those memories with him and I will definitely be showing my kids the same Adam Sandler's movies we watched together❤
I love how he also addressed Jamie when he talks, it isn’t even consciously, he just wants to include everyone in and make them feel welcome.
I noticed that, too. I even used it as an example of how good of a person he is to my wife.
Ya he his always sort of glancing over at him, must be a bit weird though having Jamie just watching you the whole time. I think lot of people look at him from time to time but ya he def very conscious of him, seems like he a very sensitive dude so very aware of others feelings.
Adam Sandler was something i didn't know i needed
Because we didn’t

Adam Sandler is such a legend. Joe Rogan should have asked him more questions. He has to have so many stories.
All Joe did was talk talk talk talk. Hardly asked any questions.
Talked about Phil Hartman like Adam didn't know him
@@elijahrobertscinema6351maybe he should have smoked before, he might have come up for air 😂
Rogan sucks at this I dont get the hype at all
Love these two. Adam's films keep me happy. Joe got me through covid. Double happy 👌
"Click" Is the most underrated movie ever! It will change you
Agreed! 💯👍🏼
I think Click, and Uncut Gems is Adams best work personally.
It’s basically a remake of “It’s A Beautiful Life” which is in turn a remake of “A Christmas Carol” ♥️
@@MissWeezeyUSA similar concept but not the same
Me and my best friend in highschool got into a fight. And we watched click together and made up after. I didnt even want to see it cause it looked stupid but wanted to, to appease my friend. It was a great movie and made me feel alot. It made our squabbles feel like nothing.
That friend is dead now. I miss him. And he loved Adam Sandler and that means I love him too.
Sandler makes such Comforting movies for someone going through deep depression. I felt like I had a good friend watching his movies when I was going through drug withdraws and the the lowest points in my life, just trying to change.. His films brought me back to a simpler, happier time in life when I was on the edge. He will always be my favorite actor of all time.
They work for me, as well. They're a nice, simple escape from whatever is drawing at me.
Didn’t know this was Adam’s interview of Joe. Literally spoke 90% of the time
It is and I hate it, the whole time I was just like holy fuck
He always does 😢
You get in a room with super star Adam Sandler and not get giddy he was nervous and having a good time ffs
@@RussDoesStuff99Yeah, but he's not just "in a room" with him. He's recording a podcast. Producing a product. And he's supposedly the best in the game. He's clearly not.
He did the same with Tulsi Gabbard
I love this man, thank you for getting more of his personal life out there. Adam Sandler is so funny but very reserved nowadays. It’s refreshing to see him speak about himself and his experiences. He’s a great actor and all of his movie are awesome.
Adam Sandler is genuinely my hero this was so good to listen to. He basically raised me while my mom was at work, I have so many lines and scenes memorized from the sheer amount of times I’d watch his movies. He’s the reason I love laughing, props to both of you for catching up again after so many years. Just glad I got to be a witness.
Felt more like Adam interviewing Joe tbh 😂
I’m glad I wasn’t the only one. I know it’s just supposed to be a regular conversation, but I felt Joe talked more than Adam. And idk why, but I cringed when Joe talked about meeting Farley when he was “in the throes of addiction”. I’m sure it’s true but I felt the vibe from Adam didn’t like Joe saying it.
Adam is just that way he’s such a good listener 😢but i agree!!!
@@DuffMan1024 he changed the subject immediately
Exactly! He’s obviously just a super chill humble dude, but I really wanted more! Joe can chat about himself a bit too much when encouraged
@@UFBear15yeah it’s the difference between seeing someone as your friend and seeing them as a public figure. To joe Chris was a case study to gawk and ponder upon and to Adam he was a dear friend who died tragically affecting him personally. He got weird instantly and just immediately talked about news radio lmfao
My wife didn’t grow up watching movies so getting to introduce her to sooo much from trilogies, horror movies, and all the 90s movies I grew up with. Out of everything we’ve watched she loves Adam Sandler movies the most. I quote so many Adam Sandler movies for so many years 😂
Nobody thinks you are telling the truth anymore, Fennicus. Back to the ice pick!
That’s what she wants you to believe.

Adam! I am 30 and my daughter is 13 and we love your movies! Thank you so much for blessing my childhood and hers! 💕💕
Bobby Boucher. Adam seems like a humble guy who appreciates his success. His movies will last forever.
With my cancer I have rewatched adams movies..good to see him on Joe's podcast. We love you guys
I pray you get better
Just finished up chemo for the 2nd time in 2 years myself. God speed man.
Wishing you cancer free soon 😊
Heal up.
Get on an alkaline diet. cancer cannot survive in an alkaline environment, period. Do not do chemo. My mom and dad both had cancer and they followed this diet and it went away completely with no treatment.
