Hi! I'm also Volga Tatar from Ufa, Russia. And to be honest the languages are not THAT similar. This is not like Azeri and Turkish. You still have to learn the language.....I also have been to Turkey many times, although I really love, I don't feel like home..... I think Turkey is like Italy or Greece, those Mediterrenian cultures, but for people from cold Russia it's a different culture.

If you have money, Turkey is great place to live. But for us, turkish citizen, it's kinda hard. Nowadays our economy became bad unfortunately. I live in Antalya and I can see both a river and see in my apartment but I cant enjoy them..

You are so sweet.. I am from Bulgaria, but very close to Turkey.. I've been in Turkey 4 times, and everytime is such an experience. The food is amazing and the weather, I agree with you 100%.. One thing is very important is that turkish people have very good sense of humour..And one of the best actors I've ever seen.. I am watching Turkish tv shows because it has a lot of value in them, showing how important is family, love and friendship.. My opinion is that Turkish culture and people is great and everybody should try it. Not being sceptical! Your voice in turkish is so sweeet

You didn't butchered it, if it wasn't for some specific words I would think you are living in Turkey all your life :D I'd like to add that, there's no one specific Turkish look. I'm redhead with greenish eyes, pale skin and I'm fully Turkish (and Turkic), we have a big gene pool but we also have lots of different climates causing people to have different apperiences. :)

Turkic you say? The reason why you get Turks to appear European or Middle Eastern is because that my people, Circassians, and the Albanians, Bosnians, Greeks, Arabs, Kurds, Bulgarians, Armenians etc have been assimilated in Turkey. Over 90% of the people of Turkey are NOT of Turkic origin.

Ofc I didn’t take dna test but my granny’s granny was even Turk so I believe I’m most likely Turkish 😂 but I have coloured eyes and light brown hair with light skin. Other members of my family looks like Europeans totally. Like my aunties, mom, granny’s. They all have pale skin with blue eyes so yeah I don’t think Turks have an exact type.

Don't propaganda in everywhere.In everything I see on the Internet about the Turks, ignorant Arabs and Kurds and Armenians who are ideologically hostile to the Turks say these things (Because of ignorance or consciously).Turks came in Anatolia (current Turkey) because of Mongol invasion. There are Turkic groups in Russia (Bashkirs, Tatars, Cuvashes etc) are blond, blue eyed or brown eyed with dark haired or dark haired with blue eyes like russians or italians or serbs or greeks or something like these nations. Kazakhs or Kyrgyzs are asimilated for centuries by Mongols. They look like mostly Mongols but they are still Turkic because they are speaking turkish language and they have ancient turk traditions.Culture and languages are important. Russians and Serbs don't look alike, while almost all Bosnians and Croats are blond, Serbs and Albanians can be as brunette as North African nations or Sicilians. but they are still Slavic. Korean people and Japanese people are similar looking, but they have different cultures. Btw Italians, Greeks or Romanians aren't blondish nation. Romans aren't mostly blond, they used to dye their hair yellow. They are mostly brown or dark haired. But they were european. Where do the ridiculous and racist thoughts come from? Turkey Turks are mostly muslim and muslims should be brunette i guess. oh god. But there is no such thing as a pure nation in the world that's the point. Was that clear enough? This kind of talk is ridiculous we live in the 21st century.

Turkey has a long history and is a melting pot of many ancient people, as well as ethnic groups. You look Turkish to me. Cok gusel! I love Turkish language, history, food, music, and dramas❤️ I live in Norway, which is very similar to Canada, which I also love, except the grandness of the scale in what you see in nature perhaps.

I went to see my Mom in Türkiye about 6 months back , Literally all my uncles and cousins asked me ' what type of food do they have in America ? I had no clue what to tell them , And im born and raised in BK NY ! I was thinking so hard to give them an answer , So i said cheeseburger's & steak ! Since the food in Tr is unbelievable I couldn't give them a decent amswer !
Trouble Maker ayyy man I'm Turkish too living in America! You should've said they food here is a mix of everything there's Italian Restaurants, German, Turkish, Mexican etc! But yes the food here is unbelievable! I remember in Turkey they give you a burger that is smaller than your hand! And when you finish it you'll pay them an extra tip... But in America it's impossible to eat and finishing it XD!

I'm kinda sad about it because actually it isn't the way most turkish people look like, they just think we all have dark hair, brown skin and brown eyes but in reality there are more people with a light skin colour... And they can't believe when I say my mother or cousins are blonde🤔

Omg you're Turkish is so good. I am Turkish but I was born in Germany and my step father is German so I never speak Turkish. My mother is constantly speaking Turkish with me but I always answer in German. I never felt like someone Turkish but for a few months I actually got proud of it. I mean our history is FUCKING INCREDIBLE. I am so proud now but I can't speak that good Turkish. Like I understand everything but talking is very hard. My mother hates it that I don't speak but I quit speaking when I was 6 I think. I wish I could speak without an accent but almost every who was born here and was raised here in germany doesn't speak the same way as people in turkey
