    Soft g...
    Okay, I will give you the most important advice for spelling the “ğ” sound. When you see it, you should read the previous letter longer.
    For example;
    sağol = saaol
    Estağfurullah = estaafurullah
    Kağıt = kaaıt
    Ağaç = aaaç
    Beğendim = beeendim
    Çağdaş = çaadaş
    Turkish teachers do not provide this information to their foreigner students, but I think it is extremely important to pronounce a word appropriately.
    If you have any other questions, just ask me, I’ll try to explain 😉
    P.s. When you said “napıyosun sen?” and “hayret bi şey!”, OMG! I thought some other Turkish girl said it behind the camera. Bravo! 😂😂

      @Affr Zew This word can't be translated directly to another language because it's Turkish street slang. It's similar with "Yo!" in American slang but sometimes using of this word is different from "Yo." Some examples:
      Ne diyorsun lan sen? - What the hell are you talking about?
      Bakmasana lan! - Hey, don't you look at me!
      It is mostly used when there is anger or rudeness. That's a word that only natives can use it properly I guess. Or at least 5 years of speaking in Turkish can be necessary.

    Actually "(u)lan" interjection in Turkish comes etimologically from the word "oğlan (boy)", i.e. oğlan > o:lan > ulan > lan > la, e.g. "N'apıyon, la? (What are you doing, brah?)". So, if we're looking for an equivalent for "lan" in English, it should be "brah, bro, boy, boi, man, dude etc."

    For the word “lan”, it can be used as both a friendly gesture or an insult. For example, if you call your friends or best friends “lan”, it can be translated as “bro, dude,” etc. but if you call someone you do not know “lan” it’s the highest insult you can use except of profanities. So when you’re with someone you don’t know or not so intimate with, they’d get it as an insult. So as you said, there’s no direct translation and you have to get the meaning from the concept. (PS. As a Turkish myself, sometimes even I can’t be completely sure when someone uses “lan” whether they’re using it as a friendly gesture or to insult me.) And believe me, you’re doing good with Turkish. I really like your pronunciation.

    The word "tornavida" comes from Italian (Italian words are not that common in Turkish, most loan words are either Arabic, Persian or French). Tornare means "to turn" in Italian (both English and Italian words are from the same root etymologically by the way), and vite means screw. That's why it sounds so classy. Italian words always end with a vowel (some loan words excluded) and they have this amazing rhyming property.

To someone who did sth wrong to you. About len, if your friend did sth funny and you don't have to give a response to it then you can make an expression by both laughing and saying len skdhhssh. Yea, that's it. Hope it's helpful for u.
