New Vegas is the true sequel. If the best way to criticize something is to provide a better example, then New Vegas is the best criticism of Fallout 3 that could have possibly been made.

Something I just noticed in Brotherhood of Steel, even after seeing so many playthroughs of this, is the Bawls references. No other fallout game has references to real world products that I know of, just in universe counterparts.
I understand WHY you included Fallout New Vegas, but it's far more deserving of the title of 'Fallout 3' than the actual Fallout 3. Since it continues the storylines of factions, locations, and characters from Fallout 1 & 2.

Hey. There was actually a sequel to fallout shelter. Its called fallout shelter online. Its different from the original. But it hasn't had a US release yet. It came out in 2019. It is in English if you download the sea version. It ditches the more survival elements of more of a rpg structure. I didn't know if you had seen it. I think most of the hate is from early console players. Because New Vegas was well known for being buggy as heck and crashed all the time. Oh no way!!! 😭 I grew up playing the fallout games with my mom and the dark alliance games (champions of norrath too!) With my dad! I have GOT to track the bos game down and get them to play it together!
I worked at a game store when Fallout 76 came out. I abused my power to spoof a receipt to make it LOOK like I bought the Power Armour edition of 76 so I could request one of the replacement canvas bags, and it worked. I would eventually end up buying a used Power Armour edition off a customer about a year later, but at the time I had no intention of picking one up and just wanted to rip off Bethesda the way they tried to rip off all of their customers.
Regarding [Bethesda and Obsidian are under Microsoft now] - a good chunk of the writing crew that made New Vegas have been gone from Obsidian for a while now. I wouldn't put high expectations if they did make a new title. Mechanics and game feel, yes Josh Sawyer is still there. But for plot/narrative, writers like John Gonzalez are gone. John Gonzalez is especially notable. He was part of Guerilla after Obsidian. As the narrative director I suspect he was largely responsible for Horizon Zero Dawn's good writing, and him (along with several others) leaving midway made sure the sequel would only be lukewarm at best.
I hate being reminded that New Vegas ISN'T a main title. And yeah, caravan is a REALLY hard game to win, I've won maybe 3 times out of a few hundred attempts in all playthroughs combined.
Fallout Shelter is a pretty good game when you just dont know what to do and you just hop on it for a few minutes (or hours...). I'm honestly waiting if there will ever be a proper global release of Fallout Shelter Online. I think it was developed by a chinese studio but is published by Bethesda? I am not sure rn.
I gave Fallout 76 a try, as Steam had a freeplay week this month. I was enjoying it until I reached a town. The framerate TANKED. We're talking 1 frame per 7 seconds. It was bad. The game would continue and I would be trying to fight ferals or scorched, but there was nothing I could do. There were a couple times that I was killed because my framerate made the game literally unplayable... Needless to say, I wasn't keen on continuing to play a game that was unplayable. Made me sad because up till that point I was rather enjoying it. :(
Interesting cause I am having no problems at all, played it on free week and bought the game after it because i wanted to play more, my fps was locked at 60 all times at medium full hd configuration, and its not like my pc is amazing, its an 1050 ti + ryzen 5 2600x with 16 ram, which are just a little step above the recommended specs at steam.
Hey, dats me at 18:43. I've tried all the modern Fallout games and I just can't get behind any of em beside Shelter. I guess mobile games are just easier for me for quick play. Another great video, can't wait for the next Mario Kart video and whatever else you got planned.
Well if you want more fallout76 roleplay you can join a roleplay group (like there is a Enclave roleplay group) but thats the only redeeming think for me
I personally think New Vegas is mainline because it actually builds off of fallout 1 and 2 and acts like a surrogate fallout 3. Fallout 3 and 4 to me are more like a soft reboot of the series just because of how many things have been changed/ignored by bethesda.
It's a spiritual sequal to 1/2. It's essentially Obsidian finishing the trilogy. But it is technically a spin off since basically everything in NV has been ignored so far.
@@kyleellis1825 it really has not been ignored. 4 references mr house a bunch as well as the NCR, 76 reintroduces and expands upon new Vegas's skill check mechanics and includes the classic new vegas riot armor that the NCR rangers later uses.

I was waiting for this! So glad to see these games still being talked about (even though new vegas isn't exactly underrated)
I wanna see you play every big fallout mod
Didn't expect someone to talk about fallout 76 in a positive way
76 is a genuinely good game now after tons of updates and expansions
In fallout tactics you have an option to go back to classic turn based combat.
Oh no way!!! 😭 I grew up playing the fallout games with my mom and the dark alliance games (champions of norrath too!) With my dad! I have GOT to track the bos game down and get them to play it together!
I love your channel! You should make a video explaining what you learned from doing TH-cam to help aspiring creators get the push they need (me)
I worked at a game store when Fallout 76 came out.
You can mod the amount of premium content in Fallout Shelter haha
You call New Vegas a spinoff, i call it the only canon title since Fallout 2 :)
I personally would not consider Fallout New Vegas a spin-off, but I definitely could argue it’s the best fallout game
Been waiting to hear your thoughts on New Vegas! Let’s Go!!! Lol
There's a mod called Tale of the two wasteland where you can play fallout 3 and NV into one game and it is really good you should check it out
Regarding [Bethesda and Obsidian are under Microsoft now] - a good chunk of the writing crew that made New Vegas have been gone from Obsidian for a while now.
Despite it's problems, fallout 76 has the best environments.
20:00 you think raiders and radroches are bad, wait till you start getting deathclaw and rad scorpion attacks
Well Done AND Slept On. Keep It Up Dude.
*this is where the fun begins*
You should run tactics through a windows xp virtual machine or DosBox
Btw for anyone with twitch prime Fallout 76 is free to claim on there rn
Ah yes, the best fallout game with the best music; Fallout: Brotherhood of steel
😱
I hate being reminded that New Vegas ISN'T a main title. And yeah, caravan is a REALLY hard game to win, I've won maybe 3 times out of a few hundred attempts in all playthroughs combined.
Finally!
Fallout Shelter is a pretty good game when you just dont know what to do and you just hop on it for a few minutes (or hours...). I'm honestly waiting if there will ever be a proper global release of Fallout Shelter Online. I think it was developed by a chinese studio but is published by Bethesda? I am not sure rn.
sixteen times the detail!
200 endings
It works, it actually works
It glows in the fucking dark
Yes I was in the chess club
@@killvader1001 I'm running an rtx 3090
Fo3 got me into the series but nv made me love it
Hey, dats me at 18:43.
I've tried all the modern Fallout games and I just can't get behind any of em beside Shelter. I guess mobile games are just easier for me for quick play.
Another great video, can't wait for the next Mario Kart video and whatever else you got planned.
I thought new vegas was a DLC in fallout 3 i feel stupid now
Don't feel stupid, they run on the same engine and have similar gameplay on the surface. They're both definitely worth playing, though! :)
Well if you want more fallout76 roleplay you can join a roleplay group (like there is a Enclave roleplay group) but thats the only redeeming think for me
Your uploads always make my day 🤌
Comments like this make my day!
I personally think New Vegas is mainline because it actually builds off of fallout 1 and 2 and acts like a surrogate fallout 3. Fallout 3 and 4 to me are more like a soft reboot of the series just because of how many things have been changed/ignored by bethesda.
It is, just because isn't a numbered sequel doesn't mean it's a spin-off
It's a spiritual sequal to 1/2. It's essentially Obsidian finishing the trilogy. But it is technically a spin off since basically everything in NV has been ignored so far.
it builds off of 1,2 and 3 in fact it directly refences the events of 3 several times.
@@kyleellis1825 it really has not been ignored. 4 references mr house a bunch as well as the NCR, 76 reintroduces and expands upon new Vegas's skill check mechanics and includes the classic new vegas riot armor that the NCR rangers later uses.
@@exilestudios9546 All of that is surface level references. Nothing that actually effects plot. Any big plot decisions hve been ignored by any further Fallout games.
Chers not many would play Brotherhood of steal, and even few would defended but thats the beuty of games You never know till you play it
Also is funny that i took to the spinoffs to find the clasic fallout tecnical isues, if recal corectly 3 had a similar problem a copule of years ago when i didnt even open in steam
Anyway great video
"The big dumb animated face"
yep aight.
I'm using dumb fondly, don't worry lmao I really liked the animated faces!
@@Niosai dont worry m8 its not personal lol, its just a bit sad people dont appreciate the effort it took to make those heads since I'm an animation major. Those are actual physical clay models which we moved by hand its very impressive. Its something thats lost in the newer games since it all 3d which is a shame.
@niosal just because he said it feels different doesn’t mean it’s a spin off
I have tactics from the fallout trilogy cd that i transfered to my steam account, from what i can see this version is the most stable one. I might be wrong.
Fallout new vegas is considered main series
