I am okay with the story and all that. I kinda like that you're an ex-Blade. It sucks that there isn't any long-range combat outside of the one-on-one combat, but it's what it is.
I hope someday we can get a real Elder Scrolls game on a handheld. Maybe something like the Travels games? Smaller scale but with super solid systems and a great story!

I never played mmorpg’s. I got ESO because as an absolute Elder Scrolls fan boy the idea of the ”entire” Tamriel t my fingertips was incredible and the idea of going way back in time to see that era of Tamriel. Now a little bit later I’m min maxing the living fuck out of my new DK build to absolutely stomp on other players in Cyrodiil PVP. It’s a great game, if you want you have countless hours of story content to play without ever even realizing it is an mmo game or you can spend countless hours building your character just right for end game trials or pvp. There is something for everyone.
I have definitely received a lot of feedback about that. I've tried to tone it down in recent content, but I totally understand it can come off as annoying! Thanks for the feedback :)

I got 4.2k hours on ESO, and yes, its still fun, I've only ever used ESO+ for in total 4 months at a time If you learn some workarounds for the craft bag and know when to use the free ESO+ week to your benefit, you can just enjoy the huge game itself If you are interested i can write some tips here :D
I learned the other day there is a creation club reference to redguard in Skyrim a quest called dead man's dread you can get his sword and outfit as well as have his pirate ship as a player house
ESO is also plagued with the same BS that every other MMO on the planet: Every enemy you encounter is a damage sponge taking way to many hits before defeated. I know, you can choose weaker enemies, but still, they shouldn't be this hard to kill. It just makes the game REALLY grindey.

I would still love to see Stormhold, Dawnstar, and (especially) Shadowkey remade in a full PC engine. Even if it's just a Skyrim mod, it would be great fun imo. Were I younger with more time on my hands I'd work on such a project myself. Sadly, on my own it'd never be finished, but if anyone ever picks up that banner in earnest I'd gladly contribute.

Honestly, Redguard was a bit outdated graphics-wise already when it came out. The first Unreal game especially helped raise the standards for visuals in PC games. It was still pretty fun back in the day.
As an eso veteran. You are 100% correct about third person. The reason why is because it makes seeing attacks way easier and it makes positioning in fights easier. Ive seen some people say eso combat is bad compared to the other tes games which is just incorrect lol.
I think PSPblivion was to be set in High Rock set during the events of the Oblivion Crisis, Anticlare (the hub) is a High Rock city that appeared in Daggerfall
I don't know if anyone has already said this here, yet I want to put in my two cents as well: The Elder Scrolls Online is canon that adds a lot to the lore, so I would call it one of the Main Games
I've had a few people chime in with a similar sentiment. My reasoning for not including it as a main title is because it was made by a different team from the team that makes the numbered titles and it has a lot of very different design choices. That being said, Bethesda has a way of blurring the line between what can be considered a main game and what can be considered a spin-off. Just look at Fallout 😅
Skyrim was the first RPG I ever played and it got me into the genre. I have 1000+ hours in that game spread over PS3, PS4, and PS5. I love it so much. ESO is my second-favorite (also spent hundreds of hours in that game), with Oblivion being a close third.

ESO is such a let down imo. I played the beta, had nothing but bad impressions. I waited 5 years, heard nothing but praise for the game, decided to purchase it and played. I have never been as regretful of a game purchase as I was with ESO. Every issue I've had with TES games and MMOs in general are present in ESO. Floaty combat, boring filler quests, lack of RP decisions in quests, Skyrims hp/stam/magi bar level up, item durabilities to force you back to town for repairs, incentivized dungeon-spam to hit max lvl ASAP, playing dungeons with randoms aren't fun since your party will speedrun so you'll not be participating at all, faction and class declaration at character creation. File size of 116 gigs, compared to Skyrim Special Editions 15 gigs . And worst offender of all when it comes to Elder Scrolls games: It's an MMO, so there's no modding that ever can fix any of it.

ESO is a great story and exploration game, but the actual gameplay just feels so draining after a couple hundred hours

In the elder scrolls online there are bag merchants in every major city where you can upgrade your bag space for a fee. It goes up by ten everytime.
I've only ever seen the Stable master and he only upgrades it 1 slot a day
