At 6:21 a.m., on June 9, 2024, deputies with Riverside County Sheriff’s Office, Jurupa Valley Station were dispatched to the area of Mission Boulevard and Ben Nevis Blvd. in Jurupa Valley regarding an assault with a deadly weapon. According to the reporting party, somebody had been shot and the suspect fled the scene in a vehicle. The victim was transported to the hospital, suffering from unknown injuries. No other details have been released.
