    If the hose is super long you may have to run several gallons through to get all the air out so put the end of the hose in the tanks fill port so the water recirculates instead of wasting it

    I have a craftsman 1500 psi 1.4gpm runs off 2 20 volt batteries. I’m in love with it ! My instructions say to squeeze the trigger while it’s off for 30 seconds then turn it on and it will be free of air.

    I use a splitter and just open an empty valve until the air is out

    Hey bro when using gravity fed setup like this should you always use all of the cord meaning pull out the reel for the pressure washer hose to get the air out? I’m having this same issues. Thanks!

    • @StaySlick
      @StaySlick  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Pulling it out to release air I don’t think really matters it’s more about not pressurizing the hose unless the hoses pulled all the way out so there’s no pressure points

    Thanks been having that problem got the same setup as you. Also should the distance between pw and the tank be short? My connecting tube is pretty long.

    • @StaySlick
      @StaySlick  ปีที่แล้ว

      I can’t for sure tell you that it should be shorter. I’ve had it longer like about 2 feet. This one is about 8 inches and both worked fine for me so my personal experience says it doesn’t matter but I don’t know for sure the most important thing is like I said in the video the outlet of the hose needs to be open because as soon as the pressure washer turns on it’s going to allow the air that’s in between the tank and the pressure washer to go through the pressure, washer and all the rest of the air is going to go out the hose bringing water with it.

    Why'd you end up changing to a manual wheel instead of the retractable for the power washer hose?

    • @StaySlick
      @StaySlick  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I’m using this one right now until I decide how I want to move forward with upgrading line.

      @@StaySlick gotcha, actually just blew my flexzilla hose with the retractable harbor freight reel conversion. My fault that little clamp thing that holds the hose came undone, got kinked and blew on the job lol

    why not just take the restrictive tip off the end? no screwing as its a quick disconnect I do it every time at home but never with the pressure washer on.

    Does it matter if the tank is higher in height than the pressure washer to create more pressure from the water tank?

    • @StaySlick
      @StaySlick  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The outlet should at least be level with the inlet of the pressure washer.

    • @alexvakili1511

      @@StaySlick thanks!
      Also, do all the holes need to be covered in the tank? Or is one open necessary to give that pressure in the water?

    • @Joshua__Torres
      @Joshua__Torres ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@alexvakili1511 you should cover most of them. When you’re driving the water sloshes around and can leak water over whatever is around it and if you’re on a long enough drive you can lose a good amount of water. Best bet is to cover all but one and have a 90 degree nipple fitting pointing upwards to let air in and let the water keep flowing. I’ve learned from experience and this has worked best for me.
