it definitely is.but alot of people especially dudes aren't taken seriously when they say they have a problem. specifically black men especially, the black community acts like the shit doesn't exist and we just supposed to absorb or ignore the problem.

I'm all for CTG fighting this fight... I suffer from depression myself and speaking about mental health is important. People don't help and assume it's a contagious disease. POC need to understand how important therapy is for us, and how important understanding the problems for future generations, specially as parents is.

A lot of our emotions stem from healthy feelings needed for survival (ie anxiety made CTG start cameras rolling before Birdman sat down). The problem is when we don’t turn that feeling off. So we have stress, PTSD, anxiety, etc on a constant low level and it starts effecting other areas of our lives. It’s also a major problem during pregnancy and is responsible for a variety of ailments during childhood and even creating risk for diseases to appear in adulthood. Stress causes the body to release hormones and enzymes to get our body ready for flight or fight. Cortisone, epinephrine, atropine, etc that effect heart rate, blood pressure and even diseases like diabetes. Our current society really needs to find ways to chill.

OMG!!!! Keep talking Charlamagne. Keep allowing God to use you. Millions are suffering right now and the way the world is going a lot of people cannot deal with the pressure of and this thing called LIFE. The FACT that your talking about it inspires me even more to share my story. We all have a story to share. It’s your testimony. The minute that we are all awake and aware of our mental status it begins to shift the energy throughout the Universe. Stay woke people. Stay prayed up. I keep saying this, but a CHANGE IS TAKING PLACE good and bad. With everything going on with this president. God has the last say. Point. Blank. Period.

RIP Mac Miller, I feel bad that I choose to listen to “Astro World” over “Swimming” because I thought “Swimming” was going to be sad and depressing. So I gave it a listen after Mac’s passing and I was hooked just off the intro because he was saying things I could relate to at the time. That being said I think “Swimming” is a Solid Calm and chill album you can listen to without skipping a single track.
