@@Slim545 no some of them do not know any better. Black community is afraid to admit the lack of support and good family structure in the homes. Lack of father in the house has a major impact but even without a father in the home some of these kids have knucle head mothers who dont care if they go to school or not cuz they more concerned about chasing behind men.... Some of them literally have no othrr choice like you mentioned before so its hard to say someone knows better when they dont even have options to do something different and positive when everything around them is negative. Im not making any excuses, Im the first person to advocate for healing in the black community starting with ourselves outward. Like instead of working ourselves up about cops killing people lets get to the nitty gritty of these young black men not seeing the age of 20 because they were killed by people who look just like them. Racism is real but we face bigger challenges within our blck communities , it starts with ourselves. Noone is going to "help" us like we can.

The "align with" line is so played out. But in fact it is love to say that you love a white supremacist. Even if you do not agree with everything they say or do and even if it's despicable. He's working to have a conversation with the president and the other 30% or so of the country on issues his community cares about. He's not aligning with him(them), he is opening a dialog with them when other people choose to dismiss them completely. It feels like he's picking sides but really he hasn't spoken in support of Republican policies anymore than democratic. The idea of not being programmed, especially by hate or fear, is his main message here. But I will give you that he is really bad at explaining himself sometimes and doesn't think about how he may affect people before he speaks. But I wouldn't trade that for a more reserved and fearful Ye. We need Ye to be Ye, even if it hurts sometimes.

There is a reason why us minorities are lacking in financial literacy, and leaving on average 10-15k for families. “What does this have to do with slavery and choices.” Mentally we tend to resort to excuses and pointing fingers, information be right in front of us but we don’t got time for that, cause it don’t pay us to know, but this 9-5 does though. See the problem? We have that power, we could have more owners and investors alongside the lawyers and doctors that we push so damn hard for.
Talk to many of my people who go to Med school and don’t have a plan for the after math, people graduating getting 500 likes on Social media in their cap n gown, but then go to working an irrelevant job. Yet we be to good to learn about financial literacy and etc that gives us actual knowledge, all the education in the world but without logic, reasoning, and sense we can’t prosper.
This is how we be choosing “slavery” these days, cause we would rather remain mad and upset at the results than go seek solutions. However luckily, surely but slowly we starting to talk about it because I know my people when we actually work together rather than fight each other we’re strong and can definitely get shit done, but refusing to understand one another and call shit dumb when it really isn’t won’t really get us anywhere at all.

Furthermore, running away and revolting was NOT the only form of resistance. This comment discounts the many forms of day to day resistance slaves engaged in like feigning illness, breaking tools, forming fictive kinships among other slaves, etc. Slavery was not only about the body it was meant to break our minds into BELIEVING we were inferior. Also, for him to compare himself to Nat Turner is completely absurd. He isn't doing ANYTHING for Black people that could be considered equivalent to what Nat Turner did in the name of freedom (especially considering how extreme his methods were). G Herbo isn't on the front line of any marches. He wouldn't die for Black people's rights. And he has no idea what he's saying.
