    I honestly love hearing CTG’s transparency when it comes to mental illness. Cant wait to speak on this topic some more on my channel as well. Outside of his known persona and antics on the breakfast club...THIS MAN IS REALLY CHANGING AND IMPACTING THE CULTURE! Men, especially black men, have not been open about talking about these issues and now there is someone in the forefront for them to look up to in this aspect and I couldn’t be more grateful! Gonna be purchasing the audiobook. Awesome episode guys!

      K Wade Hey 👋🏾 ... Honestly, i don’t listen to a lot of podcasts, more interviews and interview channels for me. But a couple of recommendations on TH-cam are the breakfast club, sway in the morning, Angie Martinez, Joshua eze (Biblical channel on YT), old KRS-ONE interviews and speeches, etc. clicking on those will definitely lead you into more good content. Hope this helps!

    Seriously, one of the best episodes I’ve ever heard about now it works in our heads. That hamster jumps on his wheel and tells you things you don’t wanna hear and how you feel in your head, and everyone else sees you jokin and smokin and none of your boys see it. And with a church family, they say God will fix it if he wants it fixed but no one says, maybe you need some real help, maybe you need something more, they think God will fix it all. Damn, I’m subscribing guys, keep up the good work! 🙌🏽 already preordered the book too Charlamagne keep preaching

    This was a dope interview. Everyone, especially men, shouldn't be afraid to open up or be vulnerable. I believe it's one of the best ways to get help and understanding. However, not everyone has the capacity to understand or feel empathy. So, I guess my question is: should we be picky with who we open to, or should we be willing to open up to anyone regardless of what others may think?

    • @TheRoommatesPodcast
      @TheRoommatesPodcast  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Why disrespect a whole city? Especially one that is better than most. And better than Houston in some ways. Indianapolis has NBA and NFL franchises. Indianapolis has the 2nd largest black expo in the country. The worldwide respected Indy 500. The majority of all swimming Olympics are held here. The IUPUI hospital is one of the best in the country. Nap Town aka Circle City has a deep history being the place where Madam C.J. Walker started her business and became the first black woman millionaire. Indianapolis has the largest children’s museum in the country.
    I think having ignorance of an area and not knowing how to use that area to your benefit leads some to believe there is nothing here. And true, New York City, Atlanta , Chicago L.A. Miami, Houston, nothing like these cities, but Indianapolis is to be respected.

    • @TheRoommatesPodcast
