Thanks fer takin' us out to the woods Kenny! Great overnight! Looks like it might be a bad year fer bugs...good shelter is a must! Wish ya' could have made Fish Pond... But I understand. See ya' in the woods Brother. ZZ.
Hey ZZ! Yeah bugs are terrible already this year, and I really hated missing Fish Pond. Looks like everyone had a good time. See ya in the woods Brother!
Nice. I own a One Tigress tent to. Have not set it up yet, but I like the front proch. Also I think I can insulate the A frame very well with a safety blanket.
No I always wondered about birds nest, I didn’t know, and always wondered where do they get this ,material that looks like a birds nest. Thanks, and I like the little 3 sticks n the ground and fire beneath, for stove. Thanks Kenny
Okay. The free solider tarp and now that onetigris backwoods tent/shelter!!! I’m so glad I watched this. The bugs are horrible out here and I was looking at getting a paria breeze tent paired with a tarp. You just resolved that!!! 2 in 1!!! TAKE MY MONEY!!! Great video BTW! I’ve been trying to “lighten” the load. Also can you direct me to a DIY of how to make the toggle you use to hang your pack on a tree?
Hiking Feral I’ve got the free solider love it! And ordered the backwoods today! Figure the tarp will be used for day hikes, hammock camps, beach days, and rainy day fishing! The bugs and mosquitoes are so bad in my area that the backwoods is just what I was looking for to do my first solo overnight camp. Plus I’ve been wanting to try sleeping on the ground again. It’s been a long time 🤣🤣🤣
Since you made this video a newer, updated version had come out. The Bungalo 2.0. It has a better vent system, better toggles, and it looks to be a little tougher fabric. Nice improvements to an already handy, lightweight tent.
Oh and what you said about combining ultralight gear with the bushcraft stuff I can totally relate to! That's kinda why I called my channel hiking feral. I'll hike into Sherwood forest with my ultralight stuff and then pull out my axe and make me a fire pit and reflector and cook meat in the coals and just sit on the floor and eat it with my bare hands. I love both ways.
You ever try and put away a whole bag of the chicken and rice? That one is a huge pile of food.. Stroganoff is my favorite followed by breakfast skillet and then the group: mac and beef, cheesy lasagna and chicken and rice in no order. Nice touch with the LRP pack.
That was Nylon twine not jute , the shelter is cool the Europeans Laavu , Scandinavian i think , the Mountain House meal you usually put the water in the bag why ? is it a another type ? all was good , the fact you got One Tigris as sponsor , happy for you sir .
No that was jute twine, not nylon. I’m just showing different ways to rehydrate the Mountain House. I gear test and review for OneTigris, I’m not paid by them though. I’ve been with them almost since the beginning of my TH-cam. Thank you for the comment my friend!
What sleeping pad is that also? I’m looking at 30” klymit static v luxe. Is that it. I’m a big (wide) guy and would love a wider pad. Sorry for so many questions.
That is a Klymit Static V Luxe 30", and to be honest I don't recommend it. It's only good for very warm climates and conditions, unless that's what you're needing. I regretted taking it that night. If you have only one pad, spend a little more and get a good one, like a Therma-rest.
One night and 25 pounds of gear? Seems a bit of overkill to me. I could understand if you’re going out for a week but one night? The more skilled and resourceful you are the less you need.
Yeah maybe for people like us, but for the average or new backpacker/bushcrafter this is light. I've done plenty of the 10-15 pound overnighters but I haven't put them on video. Thanks for watching.
Liked your camp setup! The fire with the open part of the tent, very nice! Looked like a great time.
Thanks Morgan!
This was great.. nice to see you out. Love the sound of your forest! :) Good tips too. Thank you.
Thank you my friend. I'm really enjoying your Viking series. I may not always comment but I am tuning in ; )
Hi, I just found your channel and I see you have a lot of videos that I can binge on keep up the good work I really enjoy your videos

Looks like great overnighter in a sweet setup! Cool! Thanks for sharing this video!☺
Thanks for watching!
Nice video,I like it
Thanks!
That's a nice tent.

This is the type of thing we all should have ready & packed. Emergencies don't wait for you to pack.
I agree, thanks for the comment and for watching.
That was a terrific video. I really like that Black Orca. I’m going to check it out and hope they ship to Canada. Thanx for your channel
Thank you for watching!
i like that tent kind of like the old time baker tent setup nice.

The free soldier tarp is great, I love mine? Do you have one or just interested?

Sounds like snake charmer music? Enjoyable

As always thanks for watching and for the comment, and what you're doing on your channel is awesome. Keep up the good work!
Cool set-up, the fire-solution is awesome, maybe I try it myself ! Greetings from the swedish basecamp #Dannesurvive
Thank you very much, greeting from Kentucky!
Great video, my first time with you.
Thanks for coming along!
Nice
I've been looking at that tent and another model by OneTigris. It looks just the right size and that front porch setup is great.
Good deal!
You ever try and put away a whole bag of the chicken and rice? That one is a huge pile of food..
Stroganoff is my favorite followed by breakfast skillet and then the group: mac and beef, cheesy lasagna and chicken and rice in no order.
Nice touch with the LRP pack.
I'm with you to about the leaves. I don't want to sleep on leaves when I can be much more comfortable on a pad for only a few ounces of extra weight.
Excellent! I'm glad others feel the same. Thanks for the comment and for watching!
Hi, I'm a new sub on this video, just wanted to say I really enjoyed it 👍
Thank you Andrew for watching and for the sub!
Thumbs up!
Thank you brother!
I kind'a like the looks of that shelter. Can you say the name of it?
onetigris backwoods bungalow
Yes OneTigris Backwoods Bungalow.
Thanks John!

UglyTent Bushcraft & Survival thanks for the heads up!!! At $99 right now on Amazon I would have regretted that!👍🏾
If it's not going to rain overnight, leave the canopy up and just close the bug screen. You won't have condensation then.
Great suggestion, thank you.
Kenny, What backpack is that ????
Rob, that my friend is a Vanquest IBEX-35
@@UglyTent Thank you. You have a great channel. I love your videos. I have learned a lot from you and I pass it on to others.
How dare you not use the free soldier tarp, yours sincerely a fellow free soldier tarp user.
Nice video mate!....I also build a shelter with minimu gear on my second video..

4 ads to watch this video? NO THANKS.
Did know that many, going to fix it now. Thank you for letting me know!
use add block you will get no adds. I don't see any adds when watching you tube.
You call that a minimal pack? Then you need to come out with me, I will introduce you to the true meaning of minimal.
...Loin cloth with a coin pocket ??...
