Great vid. Quick question - I’m at 610whp now with stage 2 turbo, all the bolt-ons (catless DP etc.) Even a trans tune. My tuner told me that to get to 750hp or so I’ll need port injection and stage 3 LPFP, and I get the reasoning. However, they told me I’ll also need an aftermarket intake manifold which I DID NOT expect. Another 4500 or so right there. Am I getting correct information?
Thank you very much for the video. I have been looking for the turbocharger electric coolant pump and could not find it. And also, I am trying to replace the radiator engine hose. Now it is showing up under the intake manifold. Based on this video, If I want to replace either the turbocharger electric pump or radiator hose, I have to remove the intake manifold.
@@kern417if you would have to change 3 thins at the same time, turbocharger hybrid , intake manifold and from tu pump to dorch. Where would you start? First the turbo or the intake manifod?
I’m having trouble connecting the fuel line, I have installed a Dortch flex fuel analyzer, and now I can’t connect to it there different size now 16:42 what should I do?
Silly question but will you get that much gain by adding port injection on a stock turbo? I’m currently full bolt ons (tu pump) & I want to make a bit more power. Is it worth it to get port injection & pair it with a stock turbo + tu pump or will it be an unnecessary upgrade?
Love your vids man. QQ- my installer just installed PR PI kit today…as an end user, how do I know if the PI is functioning as it should?? I’m on a base map and plan on doing adyno tune once my Pure stage 1 trans is broken in.
Hi kern! Thanks for this video. My first reason i.m thinking about port injection is to keep the valves clean. Do you think port injection will make more power too with Pure 800 in M340i? We do not have ethanol just 93 octane. Many thanks!
I see this one goes into the existing fuel supply. What would be better for max power/bhp wise, how you installed the kit or running meth through it on an e60 tune ?
@@kern417 thanks for the quick reply brother I'm doing it today on a customer's car. So I also need the controller as well for this yes? Customer only supplied the spacer kit?
@@kern417 do u have a video by chance of installing the controller? Or can point me in the direction customer is buying the bad ass one of the three on the website 🤔
Question, good sir... I installed the motive and port injection with a flex fuel sensor. I'm running the bm3 stg 2+ E50 tune. Do I have to get an e85 tune to run full e85 or can I run E85 as is since it's got the flex sensor on the motiv+?

@@solidsnake7167 it's recommended for higher boost levels.
you have done the b58 community a huge solid with your videos.
Looked like a lovely piece of kit , good idea to clean the back of the valves as well 👍
Another “just to be safe” modification I’ll be adding to the list, my wife is going to hate when you come on the Tv 🤣
Hard to argue with safety 😇
Great video man, this will definitely help me in the future
Great content, thanks for sharing 👍

Glad to help 👍🏾

How hard is it going to be getting your oil filter cap off now?
It doesn't change. If anything there's more room.

I’m running an ots bm3 map currently so I would be wondering if the motiv reflex would work hand in hand with it
not much power but more mid-range torque, especially on higher ethanol mixes.
Love your vids man.

Monitor your fuel trims. You should see a shift when the port starts spraying
can i install this and just start it up? or do i need to tune it in?
Do you have any feedback regarding the CSF Heat exchanger? Thank you for your amazing videos, without them I wouldn't have built my b58
It's ok but depends on how you're going to use it

How many hours do you charge for a job like this ?

Many thanks!
It will allow more torque sooner but not necessarily more top-end power.
@@kern417 Many thanks!
Why did you delete that hose and why ?
How much power will u be making now?
What if I already have a dorch stage 2 hpfp? I ordered the same turbo you have but the one for 800 hp
Does the port injection supply constantly along with the DI injectors or at certain ram only or what.
Depends on tune but it can do whatever you want
The controller will dictate when and how much they spray.
What do the intake manifold bolts end up bolting up to once the PI plate is in between?
There are threaded holes in the plate itself
Great video for putting you to sleep 😴 💤

I have a tu pump , would it be possible for me to make 600whp ? Or would I have to upgrade to a ds2?
should be fine as long as you run pi with it
Would this be good to keep carbon build up from happening?
Yes although it's not a big issue on the b58
@@kern417 would it be possible to shoehorn a s58 into a 2022 g42?
@@panthersfan3168 most likely. I don't see the body being that different from an m2
What injector control did you use
Nissan micra k20 1.2 injectors
What charge pipe do u have?
it came with my turbo kit
Seemed like a nightmare to do good stuff bro , dumb question but if you were to upgrade the intake manifold would the port injection kit be needed ?
All the intake manifolds over seen have ports for secondary injection already built in so no you won't need this if you're buying an intake
All the aftermarket manifolds on the market have provisions for PI, so all you need are fuel injectors/lines/rail.
I meant rpm sorry
I want
This work for a supra fellas same steps I mean ?
Yes it's virtually the same

As long as you have it set up properly in your tune to enable flex fuel then you don't need anything else
