23 has Lane centering. The 4 speakers removed are the Speakers in the headrests.

No, they are LED reflector headlamps
Really not a fan of the new front end. Also not a fan of how ford is making new generations of their vehicles when they havent even come close to fulfilling the past 2 model yrs of their trucks orders. 30 yrs ive been a ford customer, cant say i will be one any more.
The 20-22s are the best looking Super Duty’s by far.
Does everyone drive a lot at night or just like the look of the platinum and limited headlights?
I really appreciate the informative videos you put out. I like the objective information, but the quick little editorials you do from time to time are quite entertaining. I will not be buying until the MY2025, but am wondering just how does the shipping works if one lives out of state (I live in Utah)? Does Long McArthur actually have to take deliver and it ships from Kansas, or does it come straight from the factory or to a dealer near me consenting to take delivery? I like doing my research well ahead of time, though I know that any given year will not be exactly like the previous. And with current circumstances, is it better to order a trim level if something I really want comes standard vs. ordering it as an add-on? I know with supply issues it is a bit of a guessing game (though it seems to be getting somewhat better as evidenced by deleting some of the removal options), but from what you all have see overall, what would be your opinion on that?
We would ship it from us to you. We recommend you leave off accessories from your order.
Why not a drop ship to his local dealer from KTP? This used to be a pretty common transaction.
@solotuber We can do as long as his dealer will provide courtesy delivery which is becoming more difficult.
Is adaptive cruise control and lane centering standard on lariat now? It was in tow technology package on 2023 model year, but that package went away for 2024.
Is a Key Start still standard on the XLT? Do you have to option the XLT Premium Package to get Push Button Start? Thanks
24 is the same as 24 when it comes to the key. XLT Premium Package stayed the same except the body color door Handles.
Did they keep the deleted multicontour seats for 2024 as my 2023 platinum that was just built does not have them?

I believe Lariat. We just finished up recording all the trim specific videos. We are working on editing and should have the Lariat go live tonight.

Soooo is it added or removed completely? Is it standard or not there anymore? I watched this trying to learn something and I'm more confused now that before I watched it.
This was recorded 9 months ago when there were some part issues. That has changed since and all removal items are no longer needed. Ford will add some removal items where one feature within a package isn't available to help to keep production going. Contact your dealer for all updated information.
I wanted to add the trailer rear camera to my 2024 F350 DRW order but the dealer told me I can only use it when in reverse or driving low speed. Is that true? I want to have it on 100% of the time when I tow my fifth wheel trailer to see what is going on behind me.
According to Ford, it "helps further improve rearward visibility when backing a trailer. Now if should be able to use the cab camera to see in your bed but not behind your trailer while driving. I would look into a dash cam. I don't know if those could be used for that. I know someone who has one on their tailgate and can see behind them while driving.
If you order a 23 (as I did in April) do you get rolled over to a 24 year model? and are you placed higher on the order list if you are rolled over.? Great Content BTW !!!!!
Orders don't roll over. You can place a 24 order if you would like. Your 23 order can still get scheduled.

Ford needs to eliminate those ridiculous bed and bumper steps. They look horrible
They are functional use but I agree and thought they should make the step for those needing help.

Try a 2022 😂 ordered a platinum 250 in September 2021, never got it. It’s been rolled over every year, still don’t have a VIN in 2023.
They are still scheduling 23s for 6 more weeks of production in August and September.
@@longmcarthurford Yet they still wont build high trim level trucks like the F450 platinum i ordered in Oct 22..... I have been told mid 2024 now if i want to reorder....
Fords inability to build trucks is why i now own a 2024 GMC Denali.....

When I try to build an XLT super duty online I want to add the XLT premium package but when I do that , it forces you to also add the sport appearance package. Is there a way just to add the XLT premium package? Hoping for 2024 they make that possible
It requires the sport of black appearance package
I took it off because i would rather have the chrome on the body then the black grille
Nice video, my 2023 F250 high output turbo diesel trimmer package was actually on recall for 4 months I want to say so I had ordered a 24 gray tri coat and that’s actually on its way to the dealership now so now I have a 23 and I got a 24 coming and I’m debating on which one to keep. I really like the Azure gray 2023 but if there’s been significant changes from 24 to 23. I definitely want to probably stay with the newest one I would assume.
Since 2020 for Chevy, and 2023 for Ford, they seem to be trying to make their HD front ends look ugly. Just hideous.

Quick question about the headlights, Wil they be different on the King Ranch, from the Platinum? I wanted to get King Ranch but heard that they won't have the better headlights. Thank you.
They are LED on both, Reflector on King Ranch and Projector on the Platinum.

@tomb375 Projector Headlamps weren't available 23MY. They are the same in 23 and 24.

Please Share! I am swapping out the subwoofer and considering going with a behind seat replacement or housing a new beefier unit in the storage area.

Idk but, this 2024 update sounds like deletions after deletions .. zero amount of new r&d just, more take away as standard add ons, you now need to pay extra for ..
ford needs a new designer for the front end....the older ones look so much nicer. this looks like it came from 1995 silverado
I think the 23s have Lane Centering. Test drove a 23 Lariat Ultimate HO Diesel and it had it.

I ended up buying a 2023 from your dealership. Will be picking it up this weekend.
If you need a knob to turn to help back up a trailer you need to go spend the time to not be that guy without a man card at the boat ramp and anything that requires a trailer

When the have filed up to their capacity, no date at this time.
It seems nice but then they just keep increasing the base MSRP. At this rate, an XLT's standard equipment will be equivalent to a Lariat's from 4 or 5 years back, and cost just as much if not more. Not sure I like that.
I ordered mine october 27th 2022 and its just going into production next week.

Any chance you can get an XLT DRW truck with the XLT Premium package for 2024. That was a great upgrade on 2022 and older SD DRW XLT trucks. That’s what broke the deal to move into a 2023 for me. Good info on your videos.
XLT Premium Package is available on Super Cab and Crew Cab SRW and DRW
After reading all these forum horror stories of people not having their trucks built from 21-current MY23. How is 2024 looking for production ? Ive read that ford is ending 23 early to get back on track for 24. Is that true ?
If someone from 22MY doesn't get theirs built in 23MY it because their Dealer messed up and didn't prioritize their order. Which is why Ford is doing it for the dealers. That way anyone with a 22MY or 23MY gets built before any new 24MY order.

I don’t know if anyone has seen this yet but, when I try to build a F-250 Lariat with the sports appearance package it doesn’t include the black painted front grill or the painted bumpers. Has this been removed for the Lariat to keep the chrome grill & bumpers?
Sport Package gets Dark Grille and body color bumpers. Sometimes the build and price isn't 100% accurate.
Thank you for the response, I ordered that package for my 2024 when the Ford web site still only had the 2023 models showing. Then it showed the different grill & painted bumpers, when the web site updated to the 2024 it only changes the side logo.
Do you know yet which 5 speakers were removed?
4 speakers were removed from the B&O Unleashed. They added 1 speaker to the standard speaker setup. Ford didn't say which one they removed.

Ford should really put an option in their F-350, F-450 with a manual transmission, or someone should come out with a after market way to put a manual transmission in their trucks. At least in their work models
They have it, but its on the steering wheel manual shift. And in the new 2023 you can delete gears manually so it for instance can go from 6th gear to 8th gear. Its on there website video its easy to do in the settings on the steering wheel
My '17 let's me manual shift using -+ buttons on the column shifter when in "M" manual model. You can also leave it auto and back down from 6th to 5th or 4th or whatever and it will only shift as high as that gear, but will still auto shift. But, yeah, I get what you mean about wanting a real manual trans.
