Hey Johnny thanks for the strait forward approach to learning and enjoying blues piano I have benefited from jump and look forward to digesting a lot more of all this! Stay well and boogie on!!!!!!!.............................!
It was available you just had to go out into the world find a guru and hopefully gain his or her trust and affection and mentorship through eager learning. You'd have to go to New Orleans or something.
@@silasgreene2479 i plugged my korg sv 2 directly into my imac and on headphones so it's coming through the same speakers so its like im literally playing with the video.
Hey jonny... I love the lessons! I noticed in this video you use notes not in the C blues scale such as Ab,A and D yet It looks like the left hand is still playing a 1-4-5 pattern in C...why is that? and where are these notes from? thanks!
That's because those notes are played over the IV chord and are strong chord tones over an F7 (b3, 3 and the 13th). It would be quite boring just to play the c blues scale over the entire 12 bar blues. Spice up your playing by targeting the chord tones (and extensions!) through chromatic passing notes. Hope this helps!
I’m advanced but these techniques look really helpful. Do you vary the key?. I would likely transpose them to all keys ..definitely want to learn stride piano techniques
Yes, you can play them in every single key with our smart sheet music. You just select the key you want it in and it will transpose all the riffs in that key. This is one of the exclusive features that we offer our members.
We can’t get enough of the blues. The blues is everything 🎉❤
Love those riffs.
Thank you!
You are a great teacher and musician. Thank you so much!

Se imparassi l'inglese sarebbe ancora meglio :P
Lost interest 'cause I couldn't see the piano keys. There's a obvious solution Jonny!
Get to the point bro. You spent 5 minutes out of 20 telling us what you're going to show us.
I have delight in your teachings and lessons.
