This guy is a good teacher.. very FEW people have the talent to teach he is ONE of them.. I like the way his piano lights up each chord or keynotes as he NAMES EACH keynote or chords by LETTERS with OUT rushing any lessons, adding counts also. We enjoyed POP and Standard always even Rock and Roll! 😮
I have tried so many different teachers and methods but none was boosting me like this very one - I always knew there must be a simple answer and finally I found it - your channel has really changed my life and is boosting my piano skills
Hi! This is the first time I see one of your vid´s, but I have to say literally: You are f*king incredible talented. The simple way you explain things makes me forget about my carrer and everything and start to learn music. For sure now is the result of many many years practicing and who knows what else you have been through, but the greatness of those years lies on the simpicity you now lead us through your effort. Thanks a lot.
hallo and thank you so mucho.. it hitted me in one time trew youre explanations i even understand the writing off the acoords and the logics off it so aggain manny thanks and good luck
You really know what I need to enjoy music much more.I thank you so much for the good way of teaching rhythm easily.I am grateful to you about every word of yours.
Thanks Milo, so excited to practice these. Only been playing for a couple of months but these exercises combine so many of the things I need to work on. Hand independence, rhythm, counting, dynamics, chords. All in a musically interesting set of challenges.
Wow I love bossa nova. Here is the link to Jump to the backing track: @22:25 Oh and some important suggestion for the left hand: On Bar#2 the G you move ya hand position and on bar #3 the C you move it back. To smoothen that move, I propose to play the base downward on Bar#2 with the G chord - so the left hand can stay in its position. Okay so in detail notes_finger for the bass. Note: thumb on the left hand is number “1” #1 D_2 A_5 #2 G_4 D_2 #3 C_1 G_4 #3 C_1 G_4 And @EasyFastPiano Please up the start times for the backing tracks in the video description so we can easily jump there to play along with you.
Thanks for demonstrating the 10 rhythm patterns and styles that help beginners like us how to play music with both hands RH and LH in sync together. I tried to study and analyse different rhythm patterns and this is the best way to do it.
People have been teaching other people the piano since the piano was invented BUT instead of teaching you the pro tricks, they go round and round milking you along the way. (I guess that's good for business. LOL...) Great video. Really simple. I'm learning how to freak those chords. I will check out his other videos. Thanks.
Hello, I have seen two of your lessons for the first time today. It is very pleasant to watch them. Good job, really. Only I am afraid one mistake has crept to 12 bars blues. You play it well, but in written notes, there is chord G instead of chord F in the 10th bar. Thank you for your lessons.🎶
Thanks for this. Back in the day we'd hang and pick up tips from friends. But, this ain't that day anymore! LOL. These tips are great, and I needed them broken down like this. Much thanks!
This is very lovely and easy to understand the pattern and see the changes . Recommend you to make more videos, especially for how to understand the different codes sounds. The vast majority of us are confused with understanding the sounds of each code and matching them with the tone of song. I would assume if you can make one video about it and tag us. Thank you ❤❤❤🎉
hi bro very much happy to see your video the way you are explaining so easy to understand people like me I thought that 10 pattern styles how to learn but after seeing your video it gives me yes I can teach some of summer lessons to my students do more some videos recording of the patterns as well as the staff notations
Any advice on how to deal with my hands, it seems if one is busy the other one is waiting for that one to finish, they don't always like to work together.
Very educative. Not to fast. As simple as it is, I was able to reflect on the intervals and pitch as a means of rhythm, comparing !. pop and 2. rock. This may sound easy: styles are different from rhythms, but it's not. Very good teaching!
If you're a beginner, they often say that blues is a good starting point because you only need three chords. In my experience, this is bad advice, because the bottleneck is the left hand, not the chords. For the blues to sound good, the left hand must play a strong, melodic beat. This requires a lot of practice and automation. In addition, there are large jumps for which little time remains. If Pop seems too boring as a starting point, then Bossa Nova might be the right choice. It's rhythmically interesting. Most importantly, the changes are offset, so you change your left hand and right hand at different moments. This makes it easier to play and sounds more sophisticated at the same time. That's why it's a good idea to include Bossa Nova among the ten rhythms. Of course, for an introduction, the given example is very limited.
