Thank you so much for posting this video. I fitted a topbox and rails to my bike and dropped a washer behind a panel. Made the mistake of trying to put the wrong size bolt into a hole and the speed fastener clip behind the panel got splayed wide so I had to remove both side panels to squeeze the fastener back into shape. Dealer would have charged me at least an hours labour ( £60) So again - Many thanks.
Thanks for this. Having seen that this bike has normal tappets, I did consider it. I was tossing up between an old Airhead and a Royal Enfield 500, due to simplicity, but these NCs look straight forward. Still can’t see the engine though! :) this week’s is the decider
Just bought a used NC750S 2017 model. Really enjoying it. Thanks for the video really helpful. Is there a port for a GPS connection? Have you fitted one do you have a video?
I stumbled across your videos because you're the only person with NC700s and NC700x disassembly guides. I wanted to know if the parts were interchangeable? I want to purchase an NC700x but I like the NC700s styling. I'm in the US as well.
The x and s have different plastics some carry over but not a whole lot, and sadly the 700s model isn't available in the US. One big difference between the two bikes is the dash and headlight on the x mounted on front cowl and on the s it's just bolted into the handlebars
It's a doddle, old chap...wwrenching your bike lets you get to know it properly, instead of forking out a load of loot for indeterminate work by dealers.
@@alansykes1496 yeah i ment thanks for doing it for the video. Bikes seam more hand on than a car and far less stuff to have to work on. Providing you have somewhere to work and some tools.
Just got a 2016 nc750 today. Cant say i noticed any 12v outputs on mine. At 2:07 i see youvhave two plus battery voltage dial. Cut into the battery cover?
