- So Jp buys him self a run around while he takes his 300bhp Abarth off the road to forge his engine (as if 300bhp is not enough )
So he comes to work in then fn2 type r
So it was only natural we take it out and see what it’s about

One of the most underrated cars in the world. I have a black one. GT 2007 and it is so much fun. Just with some mods you can make it such a great daily driver and track car. The k20 engine is just brilliant probably the best most reliable four-cylinder ever made.
Thats a great buy 1700 quid is fantastic money. worth the money just for the sound. I used to have an EK9 and DC2 type r. 3rd gear from 3000 to redline is just heaven

I had the same engine in an Accord and they are mint. I love an EP3, they are a pleasure.

Hello , please i have a Bravo 1.6 16V from 1999, it started to overheat after driving it 10 minutes. What could be the problem ??
1700 doesn't even get you a normal 1.4 8th gen 5 door hatchback, let alone a 3 door type S or Type R here in Holland. Those seem to start at 6000 euros for a type S

Type r side decals and front badge were optional
Jp check the boot vents each side I had issues with my type r and exhaust fumes being sucked into the car it took me ages to find it hope this helps
Ahh I shall do thanks for the info... I need to change the mid pipe as there is a huge hole by silencer under the drivers seat 😅
@@jps3269 must be a common weak point on them I had same issue when I bought mine so had a custom made system it sounded awesome 👌
according to mtec can take 200mile to bed them in
Not a fan of Honda cars but that V-Tech engine does sound awesome! Although JP should of gone for the older Civic much more of looker than this one, but each to their own as they say. Hopefully a bit tlc and a few mods she will be good as new! My guilty pleasure of non Italian cars are the Subaru Impreza from the late 90s early 00s, if I was to buy a non Italian car it would be that. 🙂✌️
Was on a tight budget haha.... Spent thousands in bits on the Abarth... I was looking at blob eye scooby's but cant justify 5-7k while building the Abarth.... Impreza's are one of my favourite cars 👌

The EP3 is a better stock track car... but the FN2 is the wey better daily car and also better than the ep3 on track with a set of springs and a rear anti roll bar.
FN2 better than EP3 atm - due to rust… the EP3’s are being eaten by rust :(
Boost it and forge it. Be miles quicker then your abarth and more reliable. The k20 engine is a peach

Sorry to shatter your dreams guys, but I've had my Fn2 Type R for 5 weks and paid £1500 for it, and it's a GT so has sat nav and the 19 inch wheels...good vid though
My mates just sold one for a grand.
I cant find one for less than £2500 and that one had major rust issues

I've just purchased the cheapest Fiesta ST 08 plate with 74k on the clock for less than an amount required. Far less than what you have paid.
Not to knock your ST as they are good fun to drive but for driving enjoyment its not in the same league as any Type R

@@JordzyBrev I’d imagine an EK sir would make short work of one. A single cam EG being driven like a mad man could keep up considering it weighs about 4 kilos 🤣🤣
