    Is it weird that my bearded dragon "dreams in his sleep". Everytime he falls asleep on my chest he'll open his mouth and close it randomly, then lift his right arm in the air. I swear it's the cutest thing ever. He's 4 months, but had him for a few days... Michel Behrends

    Their tails can turn dark when their stressed, but it usually goes away once they've calmed down. It can continue to turn black when they get stressed again, though, so don't panic if it does.

    I'm so sorry for your lose. In my years of dealing with pet stores and breeders,I found that its always best to but directly from the breeders. They care more about the health and well bing of the animals they breed and sell. If you are ever interested in getting another one I will help you through the whole process.

    So I have a brown/tan/sand colored female American Leatherback with the dark nails and a red/orange female translucent with dark nails. I'm curious what 2 morphs of males should I get to breed with each of the females? like one male per female. or if there is just one male morph that would breed well with each

    I have a Bearded Dragon right now and I'm thinking about getting another Lizard. I've been looking specifically into Chinese Water Dragons and Iguanas. I think I'm liking the Iguana though I actually like the size they get 6 feet long and I know they can be hard to tame down but I heard once you do they are very affectionate and are very rewarding pets. Which one of these Lizard is a good step up from a Bearded Dragon to own?

  • @MichelBehrends
    @MichelBehrends  11 ปีที่แล้ว

    Dehydration or impaction from sand or a hard feeders. Shedding won't cause them to not poop but they eat less while in shed so they probably won't have to poop much since there not eating much.

    I've talked to a lot of beardie people on some forums and everyone suggest the nutrition page from Beautiful Dragons (google beautiful dragons nutrition. Its the first link). I've found it very helpful myself. It talks about overdoses and then goes into detail about what foods to feed as staples, occasionally, rarely, and never, as well as the nutritional information of each food. It even includes nutritional info on popular feeder insects as well. Hope it helps! :)

    My beardie kind of looks like the one you had in the middle with the normal spikes and scales, but she is more of a sandy color with light sand highlights and orange stripes on her eyes and ears. She looks very average looking until you look up close at her head with the pretty orange stripping and she has really beautiful eyes with different shades of gold and brown. I dont know that she is any special kind of morph or if she is just a typical looking beardie.
