My beardie is 100% lazy. He was handfed since he was a baby. When I got him at a year old he refused to chase anything. It's been almost another year and he's still super lazy. Bloody hilarious how spoiled rotten he is.
The beardie burrito works really well, for example I don’t use a blanket I use a teddy bear which I’m sure he thinks is a snuggle buddy but they feel comfortable and safe it’s good for beardies
Definitely! I've seen a bearded dragon absolutely love and snuggle a teddy bear every night! They can get very attached to stuffed animals, funnily enough.
Varalidaine My beardie loves my soft blanket she will sit awake sometimes at night until I take her out and let her sleep on it. She also watches me play my game or well I’m doing my school work because I’m home schooled she will run on my keyboard and watch the screen.
@@EnchantedBug Lol sorry i have a question I want to get a bearded dragon, but I'm concerned about how much time I can spend with one. I have to go to work still and it's pretty far away from home, where I am planning to keep my dragon. I'm gone for mostly the whole day and return late at night, should I not get a dragon until things change? I don't want him getting impaction or choking to death while I'm gone :C
I never hand fed my dragon when he was a baby, I found that I just picked him up, and pet him he really liked it. I read him the entire harry potter series. As he got older I hand fed him worms and treats, we're pretty much inseparable, and he always wants human attention, but gets sad if I'm not there for awhile, which makes vacations hard. Thankfully we found a pet sitter that loves him and he loves her, so that makes me happier to know when I'm off somewhere ^^
Haha, try it like an hour before lights out or while the room is dim. As you can see in the video, Ecco wanted nothing to do with his during filming but loves it all other times! He was too alert and interested to be wrapped up.
@@EnchantedBug I do agree, I'm thinking about getting a dragon, I have done research, and I have a close friend, and aunt and uncle, who have raised dragons, my friend is going to make me a list of things I should, and shouldn't do, as well as recommendations on techniques I can try.

He is rlly lovable when it comes to our family and ppl
We recently got one for our son and I'm amazed at how tame it is. It loves attention and is so calm and relaxed. I owed a iguana as a teen and I can't believe how different they are compared to bearded dragons. My iguana was pretty difficult he would try to bite when picking him up but would relax once you held him steady for awhile. I was expecting whipping tails and biting at first from the dragon but she's so sweet. She's definitely gonna live a good life being spoiled and pampered.
Yeah, they're very different from iguanas! That's why they get recommended for beginners all the time, which I don't agree with, but that's another story!
@@kirstenfidler6354 I have no experience with any kind of monitor and their diet is vastly different from a bearded dragon. I would highly encourage you to research online, speak to a local shop, take it to a vet for check up, or find an online forum dedicated to monitors that can help you. Maybe look at and ask GoHerping here on TH-cam, he has experience with monitors.
@@alexthemoviemanoutofmymind7897 I don't that's fair to say of all iguanas, but they are certainly more temperamental, require a more experienced keeper, and are unfortunately very often abused by people.
If you don't want them to poo on the couch I suggest giving them a warm bath in the sink before handling them. Mine always relieves himself if I put him in a bath of warm water
My 6 month old beardie (had him since May 6th) likes to sit in my giant sweater to nap or sit on my foot when I drink my coffee in the morning :) As I side note, I put a soft washcloth over my beardie at night whenever he sleeps in his hammock. He loves it.
Loved this video! This is the first time I've heard someone comment that if you hand feed you may end up forever hand feeding. I always wondered if I'd overly spoiled my little guy or if he was uncommonly ultra lazy or what. So it's nice to hear others are just as used to being "served."
Definitely! They are very lazy little critters. Though it's good to not allow them to be too lazy as they should have the stimulation of hunting. Ecco has found an acceptable balance of laziness haha

I haven't tried the burrito idea per se but my little guy enjoys when I put on an infinity scarf and lay him in it like a hammock. This way I can have both hands free to drive (yes he sometimes runs errands with me) or do things around the house and he just snuggles up and sleeps the whole time.
What a great idea and so sweet! I may try that with Ecco when the weather warms up. I've put him in a hoodie pocket before and snuck him into a Home Depot because we were coming back from the vet and I didn't want to/couldn't leave him to just roam around the car.
My leatherback looks me straight in the eye when I approach, then looks at my hands for treats. And same thing like yours with the burrito wrap, in the evening he'll fall asleep on my shoulder wrapped up. I set him back in his terrarium after a warm bath once wrapped up in his purple t-shirt, and he slept the night and didn't come out until the next afternoon. Guess he liked it. Hates turkey vultures flying over when we bask outside (obviously LOL). They are very interesting critters - simple lizards but with a few surprises.
They are so precious! When taking him outside, you could try using a rat or guinea pig cage as an outside cage to give him a little protection from the birds. They would scare me too if I was so small!
I haven’t taken care of mine in bonding terms to well and this video is really helpful! I’m getting him a cat tree so he can exercise, and it’s gotten to the point where he looks up and runs to my voice! Thank you!
I have a giant sunburst orange that I got when he was two weeks old. He's damn near 12 years now. Krang is sooooo damn chill and gentle. Everyone who meets him loves him
He sounds beautiful! I always wished Ecco was bigger, he's quite small, but he's lovely regardless. What a healthy dragon you must have! I hope I can get at least that much time with Ecco.
@@EnchantedBug Oh yeah he's a big boy. I brought him to a bearded dragon sanctuary and the lady there said he was the biggest she'd seen and thinks he may have some giant strand in him.
My bearded dragon always climbs onto the place were we store blankets. Once, when we let him explore the house, he disappeared, but we found him sleeping on the blankets. It was so adorable!
Oh jeez, be careful! I'm really glad you found him safe and sound. They typically like to find a high place to sleep and do seem to like soft blankets 😁
@@cobra4855 Oh no! Be more watchful, that could have ended so badly. I take Ecco out in a guinea pig cage to protect him. He still gets the sun but I don't have to worry about him wondering off or a predator bird swooping down. I put one of his caves in it as well in case he gets too hot and wants shade.
I hope you take care of it well, do plenty of research, and please adopt/buy from a responsible breeder. Petco and PetSmart source their animals from mills, which is incredibly cruel. And beardeddragon.org a great place/forum to start learning about how to care for them properly.
It's been a whole year since I've came to this video! Wow. You helped me soo much with getting my bearded dragon and helping me out! I guess I just wanted to say thank you
I haven’t had a beardie in years but this is so sweet. I had no idea in my early teens that what I was doing was spot on with this video (minus feeding bugs by hand). He used to snuggle up in my blanket next to me for HOURS. he was seriously so rad 🥰 i can’t wait to get another one when my toddler is old enough. I love watching these videos and remembering how much I loved my little beardie. The beardie burrito is stupid cute. Love this so much.

Please let me know if ever have questions about their care or want to check with me that your setup and feeding schedule is all good. I also recommend beardeddragon.org as a great source of accurate information with a friendly forum to ask questions in!
Thank you! Do make sure to do plenty of research, beardeddragon.org has lovely careguides and a helpful forum, and find a reputable breeder. Both Petco and PetSmart source their animals from small animal mills, resulting not only in neglect and abuse, but poor genetics and susceptability to disease. When I worked at a PetSmart, we had 5 baby bearded dragons in a row die from Adenovirus because of the mills. I don't recommend them for beginners as they need specific care and the initial set up is quite costly. Feeding a baby beardie can be pretty expensive as well. Also, they have pretty poor immune systems due to irresponsible breeding practices throughout the years and need regular de-wormings from parasites and are more prone to fatal illness like Yellow Fungus. They are lovely creatures but can be a costly investment.
That's awesome! Definitely great family pets. My little cousins love him and hang out with him for hours on the couch. Definitely do plenty of research first before getting one; I highly recommend beardeddragon.org as a good starting place. And you can always come ask me questions as well!

@@lunasnow9244 I hope things continue to go well! I've seen a pretty tamed down one. It depends on their personality of course, but I think they can be conditioned to be a little calmer.

"You dont have to worry much about your bearded dragon jumping off the couch" every time i set him on something elevated he jumps off in like 30 seconds
My biggest piece of advice is to go to beardeddragon.org and read over their care guides. They have reliable, up to date information and a friendly forum. Other than that, don't buy an animal from a pet store, always go with private breeders with a good reputation or rescue one. Dragons need two lights on during the day, 1 heat lamp, and one UVB lamp (the two best brands are Arcadia 12% and Reptisun T5 HO 10.0). Never have lights on at night (yes, including those dumb red and purple lights). Use a Ceramic Heat Emitter at night if you need a temperature boost. Use an infrared temperature gun or digital thermometer with a probe to measure temperatures, those stick on dials or stick on digital ones are useless and very inaccurate. And don't use sand as a substrate. Those are kind of my big bullet point tips that many people do improperly, but if you have particular questions, please feel free to ask me on here or I also have an account on beardeddragon.org.
Not sure if these are an option for you but they ship all throughout Europe and have GORGEOUS dragons: www.wheredragonsdwell.com/adultsandsubadults.html I'm not sure where Maxizoo gets their animals from but you can always ask in store what supplier they use and do research on it to see how good or bad they are.
Omg! When she said beardie burrito, it instantly reminded me of what I do with my bearded dragon but I never knew that it was common to do that with you bearded dragon. Mine is named White beard because he is a yellowish white, yet when we take him outside to enjoy natural sun he turns brownish. I didn’t name him my brother did because originally he was my brother’s but he doesn’t want him anymore (after 6 months) so I have been taking care of him myself! And he has bonded quite well with me :]
I'm pretty sure my dragon loves being a wrap for it is currently right now for me 6 in the morning and Spike is on my pillow with a fleece blanket and he's knocked out
So I recently got my first beardie,(about a month ago) and every time I have her out, she never stays still or even around me. she’s always running around, or trying to jump on things to “escape” as if being out of her terrarium is prison. I want to try and help her to feel safe out of her terrarium, and around me.. any ideas?
This is actually all normal behavior and not a sign of her being scared. Lizards aren't like cats and dogs; they don't really don't want to cuddle with people. Once out of their terrarium, they just want to explore! It's a big world outside their enclosure so they bolt around and jump off things to explore. Her curiosity and activeness is a wonderful sign. A lizard that is sluggish and doesn't move could be ill or showing signs of aging. Enjoy her activity, let her run around if it's safe and follow behind her to make sure she doesn't get into anything harmful. Try to enjoy her leading you around the house. Bonding with a lizard is very different from boding with a cat or dog.
I only had my bearded dragon Mocho for only 2 days. I followed what you told me to do but I spent more time with him than usual that it’s to the point where he never wants me to leave him
Celestial Mei we’re doing good. He a bad boy though. Even though I hand feed him and bond with him. He would find anywhere to poop. And onetime was on my leg. He hissed at me even though I was trying to feed him. But he likes to sit and watch movies with me. Whenever I’m trying to record a video, he just hiss at himself and he would eat anything you give him. That makes me love him more and I love his personality. I was secretly hoping for him to be like Wilbur from lord Elion bc I’m weird. He would crawl up everybody and run across ppl arm whenever somebody call him fat bc he knows that I don’t like it when he run across my arm so he does it to everybody else. It’s so cute and funny. Imma miss him as a baby so much. Edit: did you get your thumbnail from taylor crane?
@@hithere7148 Glad you're enjoying him! It's very common for dragons to wait to defecate until they are outside of their enclosures. It doesn't make them bad or ill-behaved, it's just natural that they don't want to go to the bathroom inside where they eat and sleep. I always take Ecco out on a towel so in-case he has to use the restroom, I can just plop him on the towel. I'm not sure what you mean by my thumbnail? That's a picture of Ecco and I made it myself.
Celestial Mei oh. Thanks for telling me. I seen the thumbnail from one of my fav beardie TH-camr name Taylor crane when she made a vid on how to bond with your beardie.
@@hithere7148 Oh, like it was recommended to you after one of her videos? I think I just misread your original question haha. But yeah, I just photo-shopped it myself.
Thank you so much for this! My boyfriend & I have a baby bearded dragon, and I have been struggling with trying to bond with him. This really really helps! And yes, you have a beautiful dragon.
+Aeriel Nesbitt I’m so happy it was helpful and I’ll pass on the compliment to Ecco haha 💖 Baby dragons can be a bit squirmy, just give them some time and frequent interaction and they should mellow out.
I found that maybe an hour or 30 minutes before their lights turn off (mine are on timers so they turn off at the exact same time every night) taking them out for a bit is really great for bonding! I have two bearded dragons (Ozzie who I have had for 2 years, and Melon who I have had for a bit over a year) and they live in tanks in my bedroom where I spend most of my time. They both can see me whenever I am home, and usually I'm doing other things and not bothering them. but before their lights turn off, dim the lights a bit, and have them on your shoulder, stomach, arm, etc, or wherever is comfy for both of you! Melon loves to watch youtube videos for about 30 mins to an hour, then he easily falls asleep on me. I have a blanket I made him so that he can just curl up and go to sleep when he wants, then I put him back in his tank. it has gotten us very close, and he can get really familiar with me, and human touch ( I make sure to gently pet him in the direction of his scales, especially on the tail, head, back, and feet so he is used to light gentle touching and it doesn't make him uncomfortable) Ozzie however loves exploring! I have found that getting cheap blankets from walmart or goodwill, and covering the floor or surrounding area is perfect for dragons wanting to roam around, this way it is easy to find them, and if they decide they need to use the restroom, you can just clean the blanket so it's not a big mess! This is also nice because your dragon can get used to different smells and objects around your home, so they don't get so stressed if you introduce something new to their tank environment, this is how I have gotten Ozzie used to new hides that I want to put in his tank (melon is very laid back and doesn't get stressed about new things, he actually gets very bored if I don't put new toys and hides in his tank) I also recommend getting a few sturdy cat toys for bearded dragons, Melon loves playing with a small plastic ball with a bell inside, I have caught him throwing, pushing, or carrying the ball around in his mouth, He also loves shaking it in his mouth like a dog (which is incredibly funny to watch)
I love this comment! These were all great pieces of advice and whenever I do an updated video I will definitely include taking them out before bed. I usually take Ecco out about an hour before lights out and he falls asleep in about 20 minutes anyway haha. I've never given Ecco a toy but I'm curious to try! Melon is a really sweet name!
@@EnchantedBug I wish I could post a picture here! He is a light orange, with red spots on his back, and green stripes that have the same color as a watermelon
Hmm, I'd be interested in seeing his color. As far as I know, there has never been a dragon with true green pigmentation. I don't think they have the proper cells to create greens, blues, or purples. My grandmother has cataracts and thinks that Ecco's yellow on his head is green!
My baby is crippled. Sadly. Our other baby (older) got a little too territorial and attacked him. His right foot is unfortunately useless and crippled now. But here’s the thing: I starting taking care of him and he warmed up to me, quickly realizing that I wanted to help and love him. He wasn’t very skittish anyways, but I’ve bonded with him very quickly to the point where he snuggles up to me and sleeps after only bonding with him for a month. Now, keep in mind that he is a baby. Probably 4-5 months old. Maybe less. But I love him very much and I always spend time with him
That's very sweet! And an excellent example of why we always tell people not to house dragons together. Are they separated now? How old is the older one?
Oh definitely a good examle! It was just weird since she'd never tried to attack any other tank mates before. It just happened and we separated them, but to answer your question, the older one is 11 months old (She hatched at our house). And the baby, I'm not entirely sure, how old the little one is. Though, I would assume 6 or 7 months, possibly even 8. But do you have any tips on how to tame the older one? She's not aggressive, just doesn't like being touched, and she'd been handled her entire life. If i were to put her on my chest and sit on the couch or something, she'd run off. That's my fear since she's smaller than her parents.
Glad they were separated! As for taming, she may not be fearful, she could instead be adventurous. Ecco has days where he absolutely refuses to sit with me. The second his feet touch the floor he is off and running and making mischief! And other days he'll stay in the same bloody spot for 13 hours! It really depends on his mood. Signs of fear are hissing, beard puffing, charging, and flattening out to appear larger and puffing their lateral spines. If she is calm when you handle her but simply doesn't want to stay put, then she's tame! She doesn't want to snuggled. My leopard gecko is like that and wants nothing to do with me but I can handle her safely. I would consider your dragon to be tame if you can safely handle them without them putting up a fight (ie. she's not running away from your hand, scratching at corners to get away from you, hissing, or excessive wriggling to escape your grasp).
As long as she is completely supervised or in a "lizard proof" room. I let Ecco walk around my floor when he wants. If I let him walk the whole house, then I trail behind him the whole time and prevent him from going places he shouldn't, like under a bed or dresser. If he's just in my room, I let him walk around while I work on the computer and I look back to check him every minute to make sure I'm aware of where he is. Never let them walk around a bed or couch unsupervised though because they WILL jump off! And it's best to let them walk around a cleaner room or a room with less traffic. Carpets are pretty dirty, especially if you wear your shoes in the house, so give the carpet a vacuum first to make sure there isn't anything small they might accidentally ingest while tasting around.
My beardie is an absolute spaz. He never calms down and is very inquisitive. I highly recommend the burrito method, he always falls asleep and cuddles me.
@@EnchantedBug I believe you!! LOL Actually one of my birds likes being in pockets and shirts but the others see towel and they run. 😂 I should have known these guys could be so cute, birds are always underestimated I guess so are reptile. ❤️

Hello I am a new Dragon bearded owner and I recently got a one year old bearded dragon but she's hates being picked up she lets me pet her I got her with her enclosure that she came with so she's comes up to the class and just looks around but she hates I mean absolutely hates when you go anywhere to close to her belly I am a beginner so I would really like some tips I'm not sure if her Old owner just left her in her enclosure all the time she said she picked her up but I'm not really sure about that she really loves the kids she loves when they come up to her and talk to her but not so close she loves our hands to go in her tank and pet her head just not her back she don't trust us that much yet.
Bearded Dragons are very sensitive creatures when it comes to new environments. Whenever we move Ecco he gets dark and cranky for about 2 months! How long have you had your new dragon? The best things to do are spend a lot of time in front of her cage so she can watch and observe your family doing basic, everyday things. It will help her get used to your overall presence. And try rewarding her like you would a cat or a dog whenever she lets you touch her. For example, pet her head and every few pets, just go a little further down her head to her neck area and then immediately go back to petting just her head. You can reward her with a piece of salad, fruit, a treat worm, or feeder insect after you touch her neck and go back to petting her head. Repeat this, decreasing the time in between petting down to her neck until she's okay with always being pet there. Then just work your way down her back! Try letting one stroke go down to her shoulders then immediately back up to her head. And every few pets go back down her shoulders. For example, stroke her head 5 times, then stroke from her head down to her shoulders, then back to just head 5 times. Eventually decrease it to something like head 2 times, then shoulders, then head 2 times, then shoulders until shes okay with always being pet. Work in sections going down her spine until she's okay with you petting her whole back. This sounds like a long process but even spending 5 minutes a day doing this will quickly earn her trust! It shouldn't take long at all! Once she's okay with being pet along her back, use the same technique to introduce picking her up. Pet her and then slip your fingers around her side for a second then back to pets. Eventually you should be able to fully slide your palm under her without her being afraid.
Most animals don’t like their tails to be touched as it’s a common place a predator would grab, which is why some lizards can actually drop their tails. Bearded dragons can’t of course, but in general animals don’t like it. As far as skittishness goes, try hanging out with your dragon on their terms, like when they’re in their cage. If you have a front opening cage, you can open it and sit by the dragon to watch them and give them the opportunity to come out and explore on their own time when they feel comfortable.
Salmonella is a very common bacteria in many animals gastrointestinal system. Commonly infected animals are cats, dogs, horses, rodents, birds, reptiles and amphibians. So you see, it’s a common misconception that only reptiles are inherently infected with salmonella and carry it on their skin. Any animal can be infected with salmonella and you’re just as likely to get it from your cat. Since it lives in the animals intentional system, infection is spread by contact with feces. The bacteria does not live on their skin. So just don’t eat your dragons, or cats, poop and you should be fine. Hand washing is of course a good practice and should always be done when finished handling an animal (yes, even after petting your dog!)

My dragon keeps trying to walk under the couch 😂
I never hand fed my dragon when he was a baby, I found that I just picked him up, and pet him he really liked it. I read him the entire harry potter series. As he got older I hand fed him worms and treats, we're pretty much inseparable, and he always wants human attention, but gets sad if I'm not there for awhile, which makes vacations hard. Thankfully we found a pet sitter that loves him and he loves her, so that makes me happier to know when I'm off somewhere ^^
Aww, how lovely! This warmed my heart, enjoy your time together!

At night I have started giving my bearded dragon a blanket and he loves it.
I actually want to get Ecco a blanket!
My monitor is not eating much is this usual
@@kirstenfidler6354 I have no experience with any kind of monitor and their diet is vastly different from a bearded dragon. I would highly encourage you to research online, speak to a local shop, take it to a vet for check up, or find an online forum dedicated to monitors that can help you. Maybe look at and ask GoHerping here on TH-cam, he has experience with monitors.
Iguana are a holes
@@alexthemoviemanoutofmymind7897 I don't that's fair to say of all iguanas, but they are certainly more temperamental, require a more experienced keeper, and are unfortunately very often abused by people.
I have a beardie, and he will usually will stay and cuddle a bit and then explore a lot. He loves crawling around our couch 😂
Sandwichscoot my lizard loves to poo on the couch when she explores, so you can imagine how that scene goes
If you don't want them to poo on the couch I suggest giving them a warm bath in the sink before handling them. Mine always relieves himself if I put him in a bath of warm water
Moose Williams I just wait for mine to poop then let him out

Great vid. Gorgeous dragon.
+James Straub Thank you! He’s really bright when all fired up under his basking light but he was cranky from filming and got a little dark ha.
My 6 month old beardie (had him since May 6th) likes to sit in my giant sweater to nap or sit on my foot when I drink my coffee in the morning :)
As I side note, I put a soft washcloth over my beardie at night whenever he sleeps in his hammock.

I loved the video I will get a bearded dragon 😁
They are thinking “I have duh best hooman and they love me”

I'm getting a baby in 6 days any information for me a first timer do and don't see please
Not sure if these are an option for you but they ship all throughout Europe and have GORGEOUS dragons: www.wheredragonsdwell.com/adultsandsubadults.html
I'm not sure where Maxizoo gets their animals from but you can always ask in store what supplier they use and do research on it to see how good or bad they are.
Also, Fire And Ice is a reputable company and they ship internationally. www.fireandicedragons.com/sale.cfm
I'm so glad he has someone to care for and love him!

I'm pretty sure my dragon loves being a wrap for it is currently right now for me 6 in the morning and Spike is on my pillow with a fleece blanket and he's knocked out
So sweet! Mine loves those super soft microfiber type ones :]
Varalidaine may i just ask when your beardie is out of it's tank does it explore or just stay still and relax for Spike just stays my chest
It’s pretty 50/50 for Ecco. Half the time he won’t move and the either half he insists on walking around.
Varalidaine so is spike but im pretty sure it because of his arm
What's wrong with his arm? Did he injure himself?
Bonding with a lizard is very different from boding with a cat or dog.
mine does this all the time too! it’s always fun to watch him run around the house and explore tho.
@@hannahstewart8631 I'm glad you enjoy your active dragon!
I only had my bearded dragon Mocho for only 2 days. I followed what you told me to do but I spent more time with him than usual that it’s to the point where he never wants me to leave him
Haha I hope you two are doing well!

@@EnchantedBug it's a very light yellow green, not like evergreen green. Do you have an Instagram? I have tons of pics there
Yep! My Instagram is vara.lidaine !
Oh, so i should let her roam around? Well, in the "Lizard room".
Your dragon is sooo cute! I also have one it’s name in Auggie
I love that name, so sweet! 😁
I was watching this with my bearded dragon lol
Aww, thank you for watching!
My beardie is an absolute spaz. He never calms down and is very inquisitive. I highly recommend the burrito method, he always falls asleep and cuddles me.
That's great that he's so active! I hope you're both doing well!
Beautifully-recorded video and lovely narration.
Thank you so much. I'm very critical of the quality of my work and often feel it is not up to par so this really made me smile. Thank you! 😊
Im going to going to watch a movie with him tomorow now
What movie?
So cute ❤️ I'm a parrot person but these methods are the same as bonding with birds. Well except the burrito 😂
My mom's cockatoo actually enjoyed being wrapped in a burrito 😂
@@EnchantedBug I believe you!! LOL Actually one of my birds likes being in pockets and shirts but the others see towel and they run. 😂 I should have known these guys could be so cute, birds are always underestimated I guess so are reptile. ❤️
I certainly think reptiles are underestimated. I think my scaley babies are precious! I would love to have a bird one day but maybe a smaller variety. My mothers cockatoo was a terrible screamer and it soured me against wanting larger parrots. But I love Archie from Pretty Pastel Please!
I have 5 little birds.... 3 parrotlet and 2 Bourke. None of them scream. I know what you mean, Cockatoo are notoriously loud!!
Parrotlet's are so cute!! I've thought about them and lovebirds.
1:59 “Still not sure why mammals have these things, but they are comfy.”
😄
awesome. They are such sweet reptiles. Mine has been a joy to care for. It was a gift to my daughter. Adopted as a baby. His name is Carlisle but I call him Mr. Sunshine.
I'm so glad you're loving your little one!
thanks for the tips they were very helpful
Thanks for watching and I'm glad they helped!
Getting a beard tomorrow(it will be my first pet)
I hope everything has been going well!
excellent video thanks for the tips
Thanks for watching 😀
Mine loves to cuddle! And jump and explore everything. He especially loves looking out the window!
Ecco loves looking out windows as well 😁
Mr Prickles loves to sleep but when I put him on my bed, he has an adventure and crawls under my pillows and through my blankets until he can find the smallest & warmest spot! It cracks me up when he does this🤣
That sounds so cute!
+PurpleTigerCat Hey! Just checking up on you and you’re dragon! How is taming going?
PurpleTigerCat that is a great comment
My beardie hates his tail being pet. And he is skittish
Instructions unclear, my beardie and I have begun a flame war
🤣
Holding my baby dragon right now
My baby bearded dragon watched the video with me
Simply Tuned Make sure you wash your hands after holding your beardie, they can carry salmonella
Simply Tuned lucky I wish I had one
😭
Great video, thank you! I'm getting my son a bearded dragon for his birthday in March and I'm as excited as he is. Your dragon is beautiful!
This helps a lot! Norbert trusts me much more now! Thank you sooooo much!
I'm so glad you found it helpful!
As I guess many of us have already figured out, once you start hand-feeding a bearded dragon, that's the only way they'll ever eat again.
Haha, very true!
Love this video.
I’m looking in to getting a beardie, and searching you tube for all sorts of advice.
I’ve saved your video, because it shows such a calming side of them, and I loved your content.
Thanks for posting

I'm so glad you found it helpful! Please do a lot of research before getting one, I suggest beardeddragon.org as a good place to start. Let me know if you have any questions 😀
This is so cute!! These tips are really helpful because my baby bearded dragon is skittish with me, though she loves too snuggle when she's calm
Thank you! Don't worry, most babies are skittish and it will pass as she grows!
I have to say, this is a beautiful bearded dragon!
He really is! 😀
I don't even have or plan on getting a Bearded Dragon. Yet I still watched this whole video.
