    Best video I've seen on this machine. Thanks. I'm sure you will never see this, since you posted 2vyears ago. Just wanted to tell you

    This is a great video. I just found one of these on the curb. It has a ton of rust on that valve you cleaned and the compressor just keeps running. I'm going to replace it thanks to you. I intend to use it to paint my foundation and retaining walls. To all the people talking smack, I've worked with professional painters before, a lot of times paint dries and crusts in and on the machines because of all the hours it gets used for. So it's not like she neglects it it just sees hard use.

      Thanks for sharing. I stop for all free junk. We picked up 2 push mowers this summer and my kids love the fact that they are both self propelled. Nothing wrong with either.

    Back when I was making allot of money I just bought new ones if they messed up.....once I sold my childcare centers I now have the time to mess with this stuff so I'm rebuilding 2 off your video so I can go paint my own rentals....dang painters caught COVID and are trying to charge waaaayyyy too much to paint these days! Lol
    I like your video and I got one running so far.

    Bought mine twenty years ago (and forgot about it) at "Lowses, just opened the box today 5/23/23. Can't wait to try it out, should be 10X better than using a brush.

    I have a similar model(maybe the same one). I've gone through 2 of the outlet valves and was wondering if there is a way to clean/fix them. When they go out, they don't create enough pressure.

    Well done super woman we’ve looked at so many videos but urs is the best ours will prime but splurges out the paint any suggestions would be most appreciated thank u Wonder Woman 💪🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻😘🤗xx

    • @mommymilestones
      @mommymilestones  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      My first suggestion is to make sure the screen is pushed down in the hopper before you add the paint. Give it a good push. Dried paint below the screen in the housing can be the problem. When we had paint platter it was the sprayer tip. If the machine is completely unwilling to jet out the handle sprayer it's the parts in the housing. We keep a separate tip and filter for latex and oil based as well. Tip- if it is old paint buy a paint filter bag. Worth the couple of dollars.

    Some times cleaning real good before storage helps real well

    • @mommymilestones

      Yes it does! Thats where the mineral spirits help. It gets lubrication and cleaning.

  • @mwngw

    Help! On this 770 model, is the spray tip supposed to be held solidly in the "bonnet" red holder by pressure once it's screwed down onto the spray gun, or does it sit in the bonnet freely and come out freely?

    • @mommymilestones
      @mommymilestones  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, pressure from the red directional tip holds the sprayer tip in place once it is fastened tightly. ou .still be able to turn it to set it in the on or off position when desired.

    • @brentoglesbee1714
      @brentoglesbee1714 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Turn the dial to "primer" to release enough pressure, allowing you to remove the tip.@@mommymilestones

    When you primed it was that water or mineral oil?

    • @mommymilestones
      @mommymilestones  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I dont woory about it too much as the screen in the bottom does it's job. Othewise the spray gun would clog for sure.

    Did you ever consider cleaning your tools before you put them away? Equipment such as this should look like new after each use, and will then work like new... saving you troubleshooting time, parts money and probable future failure. You can tell a good painter from a hack by how clean their shirts are. Bad painters look like the job theyre painting. But its like sex...if you dont get any on you, youre not doing it right!

      You may not think so but since it is working without any trouble I would say it is. Painted 2 houses and 3 garages with it this summer, used it last week to repaint shutters on a real estste flip. So yes it's fixed and well worth it.
