Yeah, I'm just finding that out for the first time in my life. I've always been a one man woman. I didn't know it was ok to multi-date. So now, I'm dating/talking to/getting to know multiple people. It's sooooooh different, kind of fun but I know I don't want to do this forever. Eventually, hopefully, the right one will show himself to be true. The one thing I haven't done is date outside my race but I might try that too, just to keep my options open.

No situation is identical but, I think, if there is absolute proof, be mature and have open and honest conversation (not screaming and shouting; show what kind of person you are and will be remembered as) and counselling and a mutual desire and effort to be completely exclusive and those measures don't work then, one has to love themselves enough to walk away and deal with any children, legal and personal matters. It depends on time together, status, personal placement on value (low or high) but nothing that negatively affects your self-respect, health and safety should be allowed to continue. God wants our joy to be full not a cup overflowing with toxic substances. Love yourself first and always stay safe.

Here's a hint (people may not want to believe), anytime a man is ok with his woman dressing provactively he's more than likely in the down low. While men are visual and they can lust after what they see (normal, as that's the flesh), to make a woman that dresses provactively his woman is something DIFFERENT. A heterosexual man respects a woman clothed descent. When men are on the DL they don't really care what the woman does because his insight and desire for the woman (in a rightful way) isn't like a heterosexual man, he doesn't have that respect for the woman. All my life I have never dated more than 1 man at a time and about to turn 62 [in 2 months], Lord willing. Im glad there are women my age (almost 60) on this site too. I grew up believing you had to serve the man and take care of his needs. I was never taught how men move and how women should move. For the most part, I had to learn the hard way from broken relationships, broken heart, soul ties and the like. The better question is, why do women only date one man at a time? Please stop being committed to men who aren’t committed to you and haven’t asked you for a commitment. Great advice for women to be open to date multiple men. Caveats and nuances - in the first 30 to 90 days both the man and woman should be finding out about each other and eliminate once you know it will not work. At some point (within 3 months of meeting) a commitment to date exclusively should be made. Be Blessed!

No situation is identical but, I think, if there is absolute proof, be mature and have open and honest conversation (not screaming and shouting; show what kind of person you are and will be remembered as) and counselling and a mutual desire and effort to be completely exclusive and those measures don't work then, one has to love themselves enough to walk away and deal with any children, legal and personal matters.
It depends on time together, status, personal placement on value (low or high) but nothing that negatively affects your self-respect, health and safety should be allowed to continue. God wants our joy to be full not a cup overflowing with toxic substances. Love yourself first and always stay safe.

Here's a hint (people may not want to believe), anytime a man is ok with his woman dressing provactively he's more than likely in the down low. While men are visual and they can lust after what they see (normal, as that's the flesh), to make a woman that dresses provactively his woman is something DIFFERENT. A heterosexual man respects a woman clothed descent. When men are on the DL they don't really care what the woman does because his insight and desire for the woman (in a rightful way) isn't like a heterosexual man, he doesn't have that respect for the woman. I've unfortunately had an up close and personal look into the life of down low men, men you'd NEVER SUSPECT. Just look at all the fashion being put out for women, by HOMOSEXUAL MEN. We try to turn men on, and we are entertaining PERVERSION/PERVERTED MEN (And DL men are rampant in PERVERSION).

All my life I have never dated more than 1 man at a time and about to turn 62 [in 2 months], Lord willing. I ran away from the dating sites because of perverted men and women, yes the women were chasing me too. I was never taught how men move and how women should move. For the most part, I had to learn the hard way from broken relationships, broken heart, soul ties and the like. Great advice for women to be open to date multiple men. Caveats and nuances - in the first 30 to 90 days both the man and woman should be finding out about each other and eliminate once you know it will not work. At some point (within 3 months of meeting) a commitment to date exclusively should be made.
