Its because there are a small minority of the human race who are the polar opposite to us....there horrible, pathetic little people who think that abandoning something is easier then just simply driving him to a dog shelter....its people like Edgar here who make me believe there are really good people out there. I am also an owner of an German shepherd and I will always be. It just Hurts me to see dogs like this. It looks like this was one of the easiest rescues because they are so kind and gentle and I think it was wrong how they brought up the cage

This rescuer is amazing, he has the most gentle reassuring way about him. The dogs give hime complete trust. It is an amazing and hard to find quality. The work you and the other rescuers do is wonderful. God bless!
@@princedevitt8367 that's true. You need to have a heart to give love. I used to work in hospice. The way the nurse chose who she wanted to hire was to visit people who were nurses in training. She would talk about the shortage of caring nurses. She would show a video about hospice care and show grateful patients at the end of life and grateful family. When she turned the lights on she looked around to see who was crying. She would choose the criers as she felt that meant we were sensitive. I can't hold back the tears when I watch these rescues. Animals responds to love even sooner than humans do and they appreciate and are more devoted than humans. You never hear of your dog going to the neighbor for affection the minute you leave for work. Thank God for these precious ones.

***** Max lived to be 13 and suffered from Hip Dysplasia I put him down not because of the Hip Dysplasia but because of a heart attach I believe was caused by the Medication I was giving him. In 2001 I can't remember all the medications I had him on but one had a side affect of heart problems.

All the dogs we've loved. We never forget them do we? I had to put my boxer down when she became too ill from stomach cancer. It was heartbreaking and still is. Did Max pass away naturally?

True, but the real issue here is physically dealing with the fence and high concrete wall. The legal (no trespassing) barrier is always present, but in cases like this the rescuers come having already decided to disregard it in favor of saving the dog's life. The legal barrier isn't going away any time soon and sadly rescues like this will likely continue.
I know Put a dangerzone sign on the fence so no fucking human can put dog in the river.. If a human touches the fence they will die, actually what if theyre innocent... but to put a dangersign on it, to warn them not to dump a dog in the river
It's also so easy to get stuck in there. If you happen to somehow manage your way in, you can very, very easily get stuck. And if there's no way to contact anyone or get anyone's attention, you're just doomed to stay there until someone finally notices you.

god Not all people are alike and hold the same morals. In some parts of the world, you would be viewed as a crazy person for trying to help a stray dog, instead of killing it or shooing it off. A rather simple fact to understand, yet somehow there are still so many people asking this question as if they supposedly didn't know the answer. Or as if their morals would be universal.
I don't know, my mum is scared of big dogs like German shepherds and bull dogs ones that don't have the best reputation but I always tell her that only humans make them like that, and they are very loving, and here is some real proof

This is my favorite rescue. Probably because I love German Shepherd's and this dog's temperament is so sweet.

In some parts of the world, you would be viewed as a crazy person for trying to help a stray dog, instead of killing it or shooing it off.
A rather simple fact to understand, yet somehow there are still so many people asking this question as if they supposedly didn't know the answer.
Or as if their morals would be universal.
I don't know, my mum is scared of big dogs like German shepherds and bull dogs ones that don't have the best reputation but I always tell her that only humans make them like that, and they are very loving, and here is some real proof
