Not like in my country..mostly will kill n eat them even my parents did it too..whenever we adopted doggie always end tragic i was really mad but they did it (sale them or kill then eat together as while in party)when i wasnt at home (l live in big city for school n work) n ths stuff was legal in my country ..i dont know anymore how to stop it.

I was thinking the same thing.. when it said the family was from Arizona (my state) I was so sure it was going to say they were unable to get her or didn't want her. Do glad I was wrong

A microchip is a small device that vets will put into dogs and cats, so if they get lost and taken to a shelter or veterinarian clinic, it’s very easy to find the owners. And unlike a collar, which can fall off or choke the animal, the microchip is harmless and will always be inside the animal.
@C emarry to expand on what Jewels thecat said, the chip is about the size of a grain of rice and is implanted just under the skin of the dog/cat, usually on the back between the shoulders

My friends dog was reunited after traveling 50 miles away from where we live, after 4 months. She even was happy to see me! And I don't even see this friend outside of school too much! Microchips pretty much secure your dog from being picked up by the pound!
yeah, in France too, you have to microchip or tatoo your animal. but a lot of people never do it.

hi guys so there's this stray cat and it always comes up to our door we gave it food so it could eat and we had a toy and it was playing with it but every time I tried to pet it it would run away I also have 2 other cats and they go outside and play with too and it will meow for the longest time ever idk what to do this is the second day I've tried to pet it do any of u have suggestions on what I should do?

What’s especially heartwarming is Tinkerbell is a senior dog, you can see the graying on her face. To think that she would have lived her whole life with that family, and then possibly live the last few without them is a heartbreaking thought.
So glad they were reunited. One of my favorite Hope For Paws videos all this time later! 💖
So many of the dogs you rescue have this look in their eyes “they threw me away... they didn’t want me anymore... I’ve lost my family...why don’t they love me anymore...” It was so amazing to see that look turn to pure happiness when she was reunited with her owners. Thank you for all that you do and for reuniting Tinkerbell with her family 💜

Brianna and Mega are both right. The important thing with an injured animal is to use a calm voice, but if you use a word they're not used to, they'll be confused. That's why finding out Tinkerbell's name was so important for her.
And it takes a brave person like Eldad to check the bits of a scared and injured mastiff.
Very happy ending here. She seemed so relieved to be back with her family again, as did they. If only dogs could verbalize their "lost" stories.

This video made me miss my dog so much. She was put to sleep just over two years ago and I grew up with her. She was an English bulldog, a chubby little thing. I miss her with all my heart and I can't believe I've gone this long without her. Seeing the family reunited, I'm so happy they got their dog back
I'm sorry for your loss. I had to put my dog to sleep last month and it's the hardest thing I've ever endured. Seeing them reunite with tinkerbell made my heart swell. One day we'll be reunited with our little pups. Hang in there.

Not only was she microchiped but when they were called about her they came for her and you can tell just by her body language that she was overjoyed to see them all again.
Unlike other ones who just abandon them because they can't take care of them or don't want them anymore.

I understand. This was a great story with a lovely ending. I cried a lot. It was picture perfect, almost like a model for what we hope to one day accomplish. It was just too ideal. But THESE ARE THE VISIONS OF PROPHECY I HAVE! The common bond that unites us all is the love for dogs and the human instinct to help a dog or cat in pain. Thank you all of you, LAFD, Hope for paws, and loving citizens of LA with a heart left to love. This is a great sign!

I'm leaving in Germany , but when I was in 2011 in Macedonia, I see a lot of homeless dogs and cats.
No one take care of them.
It requires a lot of time and basically dedicating your life to it. Being able to jump onto the job on a whim and work long, non-consistant hrs every day of the week. It's not for everyone

This is one of my favorite rescues that you all did.. it was wonderful to see all the people what helped you all. It brought tears of joy when her family came for her. Their heart felt thanks and their love for their gentle giant was so beautiful.

LA river, wow I still chuckle everytime someone tells me thats a river.
Just before the first time I went to live there I was looking at a map and saw the river and thought, cool there is a river there. Then I showed up and saw the fucking river, and smelled it.... "River...." LA River is a LIE, ha ha....!
LA river is kinda a perfect metaphor for it's surroundings.
Living in England, I never understood what that place was on terminator 2 where John Connor gets chased by the policeman liquid metal termintor when he was on his motorbike and the cop was in the truck. BIG THANKS to the LAFD, Hope For Paws, the vet hospital that cared for her afterwards and put her cast on, and for whoever invented the microchip!!!! This family clearly love and missed their family member who clearly love a d missed them!

O.K. I'm crying. What a wonderous surprise that Tinkerbell had a family who loved her! Anytime the L.A. Fire Dept. needs to practice drill they should call Hope for Paws. :>)
You can report them. Under their video there is a "more" word (on every video on you tube). Click on that and it opens up. One part says "report"..click on that and follow the instructions. Very easy thank goodness.
I learned of that too. I was kinda confused why some of the videos there were uploaded in just a day(same date). And it came to me there's is a bit difference in the name of the channel it was typed as Hope for paws, oh yeah really fake. The real channel, like this one is typed Hope For Paws.
My hubby is a professional FireFighter and he too gets his phone out and films/videos other kinds of hero's on the job, such as ones like you! In Ohio where we live, we are now lawfully allowed to help injured animals! This went into effect in June 2016, and we have been totally stoked....so stoked that I went to our vet and asked them to donate animal oxygen mask (muzzle type) to our Fire Department, and they were elated to do so, and of course they were pumped when I informed them of our new Ohioan Law regarding FF & Paramedics/EMT's legally allowed to help our beloved animals who are injured and need medical attention ASAP! Yay!! BTW I want to order roughly 6-10 of your Lucky Leash's, and wanted to know if I ordered them today....would they be delivered in time for Christmas? Sorry for being off topic here, but I want to order them ASAP, and to send a special gift to you! A bunch of my fellow animal lovers including our FireHouse want to gather some donation money to send along with my order. I've spread the word about you to many, but I talk about you a lot to my FD family! Our Fire Department is hooked on watching all of your rescue videos now, and because of your videos and myself they have become more aware regarding animal abuse, abandonment, etc., and now call me when they suspect anything wrong relating to animals, even when they are out on runs for work! I'd love to hear back from you Eldad....You're my hero too!

I love animals and I would never EVER want to do anything more than help them like they do here (currently I'm too young to volunteer but, still the idea is to stay!) They definitely make a decent living doing this considering they live in LA, but rightfully so. The work they do to rescue these animals is priceless.
