Absolutely. The long version shows what it takes to rescue dogs like Troy. That poor baby was in so much pain, and so exhausted. It’s heart breaking. Your patience and gentleness with all the animals you rescue, is amazing. Thank you Eldad, for all that you do to help these animals have a safer, healthier, and happier life. You are an inspiration to us all.
Your way of working with these frightened animals is what’s called a trauma-informed approach. Gentle and slow. Trying not to further traumatize. Very heartwarming.
Thank you for caring for animals that are thrown out like garbage. Those babies need lots of love and tenderness. I wish I could help. Again thank you and God bless you all. 🙏🏼
NicholePV Everytime I watch a video like this it makes me think how we humans do not deserve such sweet animals. Makes me hug and love on my pets that much more.
I can't believe how many people dislike this video.they need to realize just how much time and hard effort it takes to rescue these dogs.it's far from pretty and entertaining but it's absolutely necessary and we should be thankful that someone is willing to do it.
I wonder if the people that hit “do not like” are ok with abusing animals. Or maybe don’t like how this dog had suffered. I hope is the latter. His trust in people has been shaken so. Glad to see he finally got into the car. 🙏🏼💕
I have to remind myself this dog is not responsible anymore than a lion or tiger is for the way he is created. What we do is fear this animal from personal experience. Poor dog. He has someone's love now and a peaceful existence. Good!
People dislike videos with a different perspective. Like “the dog is hurt so this video makes me sad” - dislike. I highly doubt anyone is upset this dog was rescued
Loved this long version. You are amazing. You have the patience of a Saint. Thank you for rescuing this poor dog. Wish I could have seen him after his care from all you wonderful people. If you do longer versions maybe you could make them in two parts. The rescue and then his recovery. Seeing them happy and healthy is one of the best parts of the rescue. Please consider doing a part 2.
Eldad is so incredibly calm. The animals feel that. He has a good feeling for the poor dogs. Troy looks all the time as if to say "I look away so I won't be seen"
I like the extended version, Eldad. I believe people will appreciate just how much it takes to rescue a dog who has been abused and/or abandoned. You are a kind and patient man :)
This is one of the most moving videos I have ever watched. I was riveted. This is my third comment. I am so moved by this man's understanding of strays, empathy, kindness, and patience. It sounds like he has a great deal of experience working with and observing strays, and it seems like he has experience in social services or he is a real natural. He really understands the trauma of being a stray. I am a trauma survivor and there is a great deal of overlap between the experience of trauma in animals and people. What a lovely man.
This is one of Eldad's best videos yet...a truly amazing rescue. The look in that dog's eyes is mesmerizing. He wants to be friends but is just so scared to do that. And then he falls asleep. Just precious! This is a success story and I really love it. Thank you for what you do, Eldad. He is one fine looking boy.
I liked your long version. It shows how much you care to avoid panic in the dog. You're so patiently trying to win his trust. This will probably help very much to handle what is coming next, new location, new people and medical treatment. I also admire your experience and knowledge of dog's mentally condition. I never would try to open his mouth with bare hands to look how old he may be. But you recognize from what point this is save. You're the right guy in the right place. I thank you so much, you make the world a better place.
I once rescued a baby with a bowl of water in the middle of no where under a HOT August sun south of Houston, TX. I named her Maggie. Thank you for all you do!
Aloha Eldad, I would love to see longer videos. It makes you really appreciate exactly how patient you are in gaining their trust. Very touching. Thank you so much for everything you do for these animals.
I never get tired of watching these videos. It is so heart warming to see someone show such kindness to animals in need. ♥ You are a VERY special person, Eldad.
We do need to see the long version from beginning to end for these precious innocent abused animals for their recovery. God bless all of you for your loves and patience.

I had a similar experience in my own neighborhood with an abandoned male Pit. Neighbors were evicted and they left Taur behind. None of us knew about it until a few months later, when a neighbor spotted Taur still there, and living in a thicket. So tired, so helpless, so afraid and hungry. I crawled under the brush (try that in AZ where everything has spikes on it!) and took him some food and water and love. He just seemed soooo sleepy from being on-guard all the time. I laid down next to him, and since he was my third rescue of the day, I went to sleep. Woke up around 3 AM with Taur standing on my chest, snarling and biting. Not at me, but at the rats that had tried to get to me (and him). The rats gave up, and Taur laid down next to me, smelly head next to me, and we both went back to sleep. Woke up at sunbreak with a rather large and raspy tongue licking my face. So Taur has a new home, and I have a new BF. Thanks Hope for Paws for the inspiration to do these things. It does truly all begin with the first rescue. I've just never been sure who is rescuing who. Dogs, in so many ways, are better than we.
Pitbulls are sweethearts. I don't understand why most people think they're scary and a threat. They're quite nice actually, I have one named Kobe and he's very friendly with other people, including strangers! :)
Barbara Lee stuff online, like even these channels, make SO much better content than high production shows on tv. Animal rescue shows on tv for comparison? It's FULL of exaggerated drama. Moments are stretched out to multiple minutes while they cut from angle to angle to angle, tilting their cameras and getting close ups, acting like the most simple stuff is super intense or something. It's so annoying and American tv, unfortunately, does this way more than other shows from other countries. I seriously don't get it and you'll find it EVERYWHERE
This is my first time seeing this rescue. So glad a long version was posted. Even though obviously cut down from the full day, it's important to show realistically the time and patience needed for some of these animals. Otherwise someone may think every rescue should be quick and of they try, they may not get a good result. Thank you, Eldad, for your patience with this young, sad guy. I hope he is in his forever, loving home now.

I love these rescues! Eldad is truly a hero for what he does for abandoned dogs and cats. So patient, calm and sweet. Thank you Eldad and Hope for Paws for being a light in the darkness of these suffering creatures.

I liked how sweet and gentle with the dog you were. How you can't rush with the animals.. and all the patience you showed. Thank you and God bless 🙏 your service 🐕🦺 .
Thank you for all the hard work and your kindness and I’m only doing minimum work by donating! It is so satisfying knowing this most sweet kind and vulnerable living creature get a forever loving home very satisfying thank you again.
Watching the rescue of this beautiful dog, made my heart melt. I wish I was there I would adopt him. He has sad eyes.
I prefer to see rescue, bath, medical treatment, medical analysis, new home. Thanks for all you do.

Poor baby was so scared & exhausted !:( Breaks my heart to see animals actually get treated this way to the point you can see no hope in him.. Wish i could have taken this baby home ! ❤️
This poor baby had hit bottom and lost hope bc humans made his life hell. Very thankful his life changed and he is now safe and loved.
Thanks Eldad!
I love these rescues! Eldad is truly a hero for what he does for abandoned dogs and cats. So patient, calm and sweet. Thank you Eldad and Hope for Paws for being a light in the darkness of these suffering creatures.
Thank you for sharing this! This poor baby and you are so patient and kind with him,
I just wanted to say thank you to you guys. You are amazing.
I have 5 rescues living with me - my family. Best ever!
We don’t deserve dogs. After everything he has been through, his trust is incredible xxx

He was adopted by a couple who had a pit that passed away...they said their hearts melted when they met him....I'm not surprised Troy seems like sweetheart and a beautiful dog so glad he found a loving home:)
