    Are you going on an Alaska cruise and trying to figure out what to pack, what to see, and what to eat? Here are some tips for cruising Alaska to get the most out of your Alaskan vacation. In this video, I will share with you my packing essentials, from clothing to binoculars, and what packing gear helped me travel to Alaska in one backpack and one carry-on only.
    I will also give you a tour of two of the rooms we experienced onboard our Alaskan Cruise. You will get a full tour of both a forward oceanview room and an aft balcony room.
    We will then take you to all of the ports we visited including Sitka, Juneau, Icy Strait, Ketchikan, and Victoria BC on our Alaska cruise vacation. We will share will you our itinerary along with any must-see spots while visiting Alaska.
    We are also going to share where we ate onboard the Norwegian Bliss on our Alaskan Cruise. We visited six specialty restaurants including Cagney's, Ocean Blue, Le Bistro, Los Lobos, Teppanyaki, and Food Republic.
    There are also some fun activities enjoyed by everyone in our large party of 50. We will show you a glimpse of those activities, and share which ones were our favorites.
    Lastly, we will take you on a quick tour around the Norwegian Bliss and share some of the most popular areas of the ship, along with some of our travel photos while cruising Alaska.

      @@Cruisingfoodies Thanks so much! We already paid for a Disney cruise for next year. We like cruising with them, but one day I'd like to expand to other cruise lines. We were looking at a European one for 2025 or 2026. One day we will do Alaska. So many places, so little time/money! 🤣

      @@FoodFiend lol I totally understand that, not enough hours in the day for sure! I love European cruises. It's the best way to see so many ports! Personally, the western Mediterranean is my fav. And yes def check out NCL, their food is great!

      @@Cruisingfoodies which tours would you recommend if we're only doing a couple bc it's really expensive

    • @Cruisingfoodies
      @Cruisingfoodies  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@user-kx8zw2we6d we really liked the tour in Sitka with Baranof Tour company. It was under $100pp and we felt we saw a lot in two hours and had plenty of free time after. I would rent my own car in Juneau, that tour was a rip off. And, I would also just grab a cheap cab tour in Victoria.

    • @user-kx8zw2we6d

    I have tons of questions!! Are you only allowed to bring one suitcase??? I love the vacuum bags but I never knew they made them for use without a vacuum! I need those and definitely need the waterproof sneakers because I don’t like my hiking boots.

    • @Cruisingfoodies
      @Cruisingfoodies  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      So you can bring as much luggage as you like. But I like to condense everybody's down to the bare minimum because you're pretty much out and about all day in one outfit and then sometimes, if they don't get dirty they just go straight to dinner when they get back on the ship. But I always bring a couple outfits to change into for the nicer restaurants. The vacuum free bags are awesome. I have them linked below because I use them for every trip even if it's just a weekend trip.

      Depending on the category and specials they run, it can range from $3500 for two to over $10K in the suites. You can message me on my agency line for a quote!
