My best tip… if you book an inside cabin you can leave your tv on the channel that has a bridge camera. It will be totally dark at night and provide some light in the morning just like having a window.
Unfortunately, this tip doesn't work on all ships; on Holland America, for instance, at night instead of the screen going dark, everything turns green with their low-light camera...and eventually the TV will shut off if you leave it on for hours! I've found a better solution is a daylight alarm app on my phone or iPad, which gives a gradually increasing amount of light starting a half hour before the alarm goes off.
I'm not OCD by a longshot... but bringing Lysol wipes and doing a thorough clean of all the high-touch things is a very good idea. Yes, the rooms are cleaned before you arrive - but the do not have time to disinfect everything. So it's a good habit to do it right away. Not fun, but it might save you from getting sick. You never know who was in your room and if they had a bug. Five minutes could save you a LOT of grief.
I also carry a travel size of Lysol and spray my bed and the sofa down first thing 😂 Yeah I just use the suit case for my dirty clothes that way I pack as I go!
One of my tips, if you do not buy a drink package, is to pack a variety of flavored drink mix envelopes/tubes that you can add to your re-useable water bottle/s because only water, iced and hot tea, lemonade and hot coffee are complimentary on most cruise lines.
I like to bring small collapsible cubes from the dollar tree. I put two on the desk and throw all the small stuff in them. Sunglasses, sun block, playing cards... .
Wrinkle Release Spray, Small water bottle sprayer and the hair dryer is the easiest way to get rid of wrinkle. Also if you’re traveling with a woman… a hair flat iron does the trick for wrinkled collars etc.
When we get on the ship I always get 2 beach towels to take back to our room to cover the couch. My next suggestion is to bring a small rechargeable fan, especially if you get an inside room. Sanitize all touchable surfaces before unpacking and wash your hands as soon as you get back to your cabin after being out and about the ship. Lastly, I always like to meet the cabin attendant as soon as possible to make any special request like an ice bucket and I will give them $10 per day tip at the beginning of our cruise. This will go a long ways to show how much you appreciate their hard work.

@@richardkinsley2984The tip is clearly for "Ladies" so there's that. Why in the world would you only have 3 shirts unless it's a very short cruise? To each their own.
I take a empty set of packing cubes like the ones I have packed. I just pack the dirty clothes as I use them into the spare packing cubes. I use two colors so I can remember which are clean and dirty. I just toss them in a drawer I’m not using or I leave my hard side suitcase folded open and slid under the bed. I just reach under and grab a dirty cube toss my stuff in it and toss it in opened suitcase under bed. The great thing about this is last day most all is packed and in suitcase or easy to toss in suitcase. Makes that packing last day super easy. When I get home take them to laundry room and dump them in the washer.
I've been on dozens of cruises. Best advice - get a cabin near your preferred amentities and away from places like kitchens. Best to have cabins both above and below you to insulate from noise. If you like being near the pool, get a cabin a bit higher up, that way you are not running through the whole ship with wet clothes on. If you like being near the promenade, get one mid-ship. Get close to where you will be spending most of your time.
My best tip is: When you have a celebration, birthday anniversary etc, use the magnet hooks and bring your own decorations. I find party City is a great place too pick up cheap and lightweight decorations that pack easy.
That's exactly what I'll do for our next cruise in sept. We be celebrating our 30th anniversary & my birthday on the same day so we'll have a lot of cards
Bring Ziploc bags to the windjammer so you can load up on snacks for your cabin or excursions. (Make sure it's not fruit or anything fresh for excursions.) We once took some pastries with us on a excursion, and it saved our butts. My husband is diabetic and his sugar dropped while we were quite far from any food. Those windjammer pastries came in handy!
Your husband’s a diabetic and you use cheap sugar to make him feel better? I get it’s needed but please stick to a healthier diet. My dad died from diabetes, and the quick sugar thing happened often before he died.
@@kristoffliftoff9316if someone generally takes good care of their diabetes, it's ok to eat whatever it takes to raise blood sugar. Your dad probably just had high blood sugars too often - that can be caused by any type of food with carbohydrates in it. So please take your advice and keep it to yourself. Sincerely, someone with type 1 diabetes
Also bring garden trash bags to store your luggage in, to prevent bugs getting to them, once your bag is them, close them tightly close , the stow them away
The inside room is just too small for us. We felt like we were in a closet. The balcony helps with being able to see the horizon with fresh air. I like to get a beverage and read a book - just chilling on our balcony. I also like to see each port as we dock each day on port days.
The nightlight in the bathroom is a great idea. I bought a two-pack and put one on the wall near the floor at the foot if the bed. No more stubbed toes! And the one in the bathroom is the perfect amount of light.
11:00 You can get scented trash bags too. I use Gain scented trash bags. That helps with laundry. Especially because those are the really nice stretchy ones.
One note. The power adapters may convert the outlet from European to US or whatever other type of outlet that you use, but it DOES NOT, convert the voltage of the outlet. It still transmits 220 volts so make sure the device you’re using is multi volt capable.
A lot of power supplies can take a wide range input, I just checked my laptop and it can operate on 100v to 240v. You have to be careful though and just avoid it if you are unsure.
@@JohnSmith-mv8scIt makes no sense to have a Euro outlet @ 110V. Regardless make sure that anything you plug into an adapter can handle a wide range of voltages. Most phones and tablets do, but it’s always best to read to make sure.
Obviously this guy has never awakened every morning to the steward knocking on the door, delivering danish & coffee to eat on the balcony to wake up, then dress, go downstairs to eat the “real” breakfast ha. Pure heaven..
One of the best memories of my last cruise was getting on the wifi at one of our excursions in Mexico, and downloading the latest episode of house of the dragon that came out the day before on my phone via the HBO Max app. Then that night I went on the balcony with a drink and pizza and watched it on my phone while the kids were asleep. Most apps like Netflix and stuff will allow you to download something and watch it later. It is perfect for the cruise if you get a few things ahead of time. It will certainly be better than what they show on the TV when you relax in your room or get ready.
Royal Caribbean if you’re Diamond you get 4 alcohol drinks per day if you don’t use all 4 at the end of the night ask a bar tender for a beer unopened to put in ur frig for the next day. Or leave at end of cruise for cabin steward. They have to pay for drinks on their day off so it’s a nice thing to do. ALSO TIP THEM WELL!!!!!
I love my over the door shoe rack what I do is put it behind the doorhandle I lose one pocket but that’s OK. I take magnets with clips on them at the bottom of it to hold it to the door so it doesn’t flop around.
I'm meeting friends on a cruise, Royal caribbean Freedom of the Seas....i got a balcony room to myself. It's a bit expensive, but hopefully, it's worth it. My first cruise
As well one garden trash bag to, that you cut it down one side , then across the bottom of the bag, to use it as way to lay your luggage on while unpacking, then those two other garden trash bags , place your luggage inside, like a pillow case, then close them up , with ponytail ties, then stowe them away, with comfort, knowing no buggieboos, don't get inside them. And when the cruise is over do this in reverse, fold the garden trash bags up, putting them into a gallon sized ziplock bag, to use them again as well the ponytail ties that was used , while on board the ship, as well bring sanitizing wipes, to use on the phone and remote control for the tv, wipe down the tv buttons. The cruise ships has their version of clean, but I have my own degree of what is clean, I haven't been sick, or gotten sick, after going on holidays. I intend to keep that way.
I have just as much fun in an ocean view cabin as I did in the Royal Suite. We play we eat we party we have fun. Yes I love the suite life but I love the party life more.
RE: OTC meds to take with you: Due to the recent Virgin Voyages 'Scarlet Lady' gastrointestinal illness experienced by 3% of the passengers (appx 80, don't know about the crew), I've ordered extra 5-symptom anti-diarrheals, such as the generic Pepto-Bismol chewables. The generic 5-symptom tabs would work as well, especially since you have to take them with water, which you lose with diarrhea. The chewables might work faster, but you wouldn't get the water. Decorating the door has caveats-they must NOT be paper, due to fire requirements. They must be plastic or laminated. I believe the metal hook over-the-door multi-storage thingy isn't allowed anymore because of scratches on the door. I purchased a one hanger hook multi-storage item to put on the hook over the toilet. (I checked out our room video and saw how someone did it for that bathroom. )
I always pack a “pharmacy”. Tylenol, Midol, immodium, tums, cold pills, cough pills, bandaids, etc. just take a sample of each and pack in a big ziploc for emergencies. We’ve cruised a lot and stuff happens.
I pick my own cabin location each cruise and like to choose one that is located on a deck sandwiched between a deck of cabins above and a deck of cabins below if possible. I like the mid section of the ship to be nearer to activities that I like to do. I usually travel solo so I always get a cabin with at least a window. Balconies and junior suites are nice for a bit more space and the balcony is very nice to have. The tips included in this video are mostly ones I use especially the magnetic hooks, extra hangers and bringing my own toiletries especially shampoo and conditioner. The hand soap is nice as the bars tend to dissolve quickly. I also use the packing cubes to unpack and repack quickly.
it may be because if its a dining room or event room it can be very noisy, people running and jumping all hours of the day, chairs getting dragged, music etc, having cabins above and below means you will be insulated and mid day naps willl be possible
@@samboone7687 Much quieter.... as opposed to the pool, the bar, the disco, the kitchen (rolling carts....yikes...and the cooks getting ready verrrry early)
Along, with bringing soap, sunblock, etc. If you fly to the port city, go shopping before your embarkation day so you can buy larger bottles than are allowed on airplanes. Big help on my LA cruise finding enough supplies before arrival and not needing to worry about buying in a foreign port.
Great tip I'm from Europe and buy USA suncreams once there. They're way cheaper than Europe. And better uv protection when in Florida Bahamas etc. I think Europe has laws about ingredients. Cos I burn more with European sunscreens in those places, but not with usa brands.
But I do like to visit a pharmacy in a fork port just to see what they carry & pick up a toothpaste or lotion to use & bring home. Weeks later I’m smiling as I use that French lotion or Japanese toothpaste.
We were thinking of doing this! Q: where in L.A., near the Cruise Port of San Pedro, did you find was the best for buying toilletries - shampoo, soap, sunscreen, etc.?
@@DH-qz2so If your trip is short...just bring small toiletries with you.... OR get the travel bottles (TSA approved) and bring your own...much cheaper.
I always ask the steward to empty the mini fridge of the pre-stocked items because we never use them. Creates space for our own stuff. Also ask for an ice bucket. Ask once and you will get one daily. Gives me convenient ice water to fill my water bottle.
Best cabin hack is 4 strong battery chargers for all electronics. Sound machine. Phones. Watches. Cameras speaker. We even being an adapter to use the euro plugs to charge the portable batteries. So often the outlet connections are weak and slow. Bring all the battery chargers
My best interior room was on Enchantment, just ahead of the R Bar. Easy access and really dark so I could sleep like a baby. My best balcony room was on Voyager, the new rooms on Deck 11 exactly ahead of the Solarium. I will report on the Deck 4 window room on Serenade, next year after the UWC. Look carefully at your laptop and phone chargers. Many say they can run from 100 to 240 VAC. I got just a plug adapter in Denmark so I can run that stuff with the small, cheap adapter. The 4-port USB Hub came with adapter plugs for everything, but does not do USB C. Maybe need an upgrade.
We had a Deck 3 window on Serenade this past July, and were very happy with it. It was just far enough away to give us quiet, but close enough that if we wanted to run to R bar for a drink or something, we could.
Last 3 RCI cruises, room service breakfast arrived 1 hour to 45 mins late. So I forget that one now. Especially if on their bigger ships. We had to just go up to the Windjammer n bring a coffee back
Bring a cheap battery clock with light, they have no clocks on cruise ships it was nice to be able to look at an actual clock. Bring towel clips for deck chairs very windy and keeps towel on chair. Bring magnets to hang papers and bags, walls are metal
Motion sensor lights for the cabin and bathroom! Every friend I have treated to a completely free to them cruise- don’t like nightlights. Go figure. I personally need light so I don’t trip on their stuff all over the floor. The motion sensor light in the cabin was a great alternative.
Matt, thank you for the "shower steam" for getting wrinkles out of your clothes idea. Didn't think about that. And newer ships have a low light in the bathrooms now. The sensor lite doesn't work. I bought one, no bueno! 😮
I never put bags nor clothes anywhere near the bed because if there are any " free bed bugs" in the mattress or carpet under the bed you get to take them home with you. I bet the carpet hasnt been vaccumed thoroughly
@@keisham3397 Very easy... roll from the bottom to the zipper....squeezing the air out as much as possible. I use this technique when freezing food, as well!
In like 6 cruises I don't think I've ever seen sail away. We get on the ship before noon, eat, get a drink, get access to the room maybe 2, do muster, get luggage a bit later, then finally we can unpack and then vacation begins. By that time the ship is moving lol I don't know where we'd fit in the time to go to a party.
I've been on a few cruises and never had any interest in the Sail Away Party. I am usually so busy and on the go on the few days leading up to and on embarkation day(which I thoroughly enjoy wth all the hustle and bustle and anticipation of a great getaway) that once I get to my stateroom, I just want to unpack and rest a few hours in complete silence and darkness, getting used to the motion of the ship. I might even just order room service for dinner. I have the rest of the cruise to be active and do all the things! lol
When I travel solo, I use a plastic grocery bag for used socks and underwear. I just hang it on a hanger in the closet and push it down to the end. Works great and keeps such things out of the way.
The European outlets are used by the cabin steward when they vacuum. It's okay to use while you're in the room, but keep in mind it will get unplugged when the room is serviced. There are European outlets all over the ship, so if you need to use a laptop or charge your phone, they can come in handy. MAJOR WARNING: Those outl;ets are 230V at 50 Hz. Many adapters do not step down the voltage and none will do anything about the frequency. Laptops and most phone chargers can operate at that higher voltage, but YOU have to check if your device can work before you use those outlets.
You’re allowed to carryon a bottle of wine per person in your carryon. Ask the cabin steward for a opener and 2 wine glasses. Carry a glass to dinner into the main dining room.
I find the corkscrew they provide is crappy; so; choose a really cool corkscrew in a souvenir shop at your first port and kept it to remember your cruise.
Tnx for these tips! I love to listen to the ocean when sleeping, so rather than keep the balcony door open, I downloaded ocean sounds on iPad, and let that play all nite. Also, would be amazing if you could provide the links to your suggestions… :)
On Royal Caribbean I’m diamond member and like a cabin forward on deck above or below diamond club so I can get out of bed run up/or down to diamond club for a laté coffee and quickly go back to my cabin and get in bed or sit on balcony and sip coffee till I’m fully awake.
I bring one wine & one champagne for the room - keep champagne chilled for morning mimosa on balcony (use free OJ from drink station) and have a small glass wine while dressing for dinner. Also each person can bring 12 bottles of water, soda to have while in the room. Don’t forget to pack a travel cork remover & wine glass
RC’s sister/lux line, Celebrity ,DOES offer shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion. If you need the savings of weight or space your cleaning toiletries take up, ask to see if you must bring your own. And I am PICKY, and liked the offered shampoo, conditioner and body wash & lotion.
In regarding clothes, stick to 1-2 colour ways. Pack a few lightweight scarves 🧣that will blend, learn how to tie them to dress up a blocked colour. Plenty vids on TH-cam. I travel with 1x pashmina, tie it to be a shawl, a jacket or a cover up in the islands where too much skin is a “no go“. I pack 3prs of shoes, 2 x casual, 1 dressy plus wearing 1pr = 4 prs. Most ships have a laundrette on each deck. Minimalist is good👍
One thing that threw me for a loop on our first cruise. Do NOT count on internet at all the last night! It was completely useless because people would take the one day internet access that night and make travel arrangements for disembarkation. It’s awful!
Dirty laundry tip: instead of a trash bag which holds odors, opt for mesh lingerie washing bags. That way your dirty clothes can "breathe." I use those all the time on travels.
Bring several small portable fans if it is during the warm months. Our last Cruise the AC was not working very well. Every time you open the balcony door it turns off the AC in the room. So if someone wants to go out on the balcony you have to lock them out for the AC to come back on.
I cant put smelly dirty clothes in my suitcase were clean clothes go. I use a trash bag like you say and I throw 2 sented bounty softner dryer sheets in there they smell great and they stay fresh smelling the whole trip.
@sherylalleman2659 works flipping amazing I also put one in my trash bin too. No more stink when I open the trash and if it does from like fish I simply throw in 2 more..glad it helped.
Bring new flat sheets of laundry detergent & dryer sheets. I also use their shampoo to wash lingerie and hang on the clothesline across the shower. I pack clothesclips for tank tops, etc.
I’ve learned not to over pack but you have to make sure you bring enough clothes in case you spill something on your shirt or pants or have something else to wear and you don’t run out of clean clothes

I've done that with grocery bags as my "dirty laundry bag". Will have to try your idea.
What a great idea, thanks for sharing.
That is a great idea..
I pack in cubes by day, then take out one day and put the dirty clothes in the now empty cube. So much less to deal with when it's time to pack up.
BRILLIANT! Thank you so much.
Great idea!
Also you can buy emergency glucose tubes for your first aid kit. I keep some in my purse, husband's backpack and at home for this same issue.
@@kristoffliftoff9316just because your dad had diabetes doesn’t mean you know anything about diabetes, because you obviously don’t.
@@Snoopy-qe7kt I know enough about it that I’m not eating processed sugar and being a fatty :)
Also bring garden trash bags to store your luggage in, to prevent bugs getting to them, once your bag is them, close them tightly close , the stow them away
I don’t think I would ever be able to give up my balcony. We spent a lot of time on ours, especially on the very back of the boat!
Yes…the solitude is worth it.
Beware! Once you try a balcony cabin, you can never go without!
Must have a balcony. Love sitting outside and don't have to fight for a chair on deck
The inside room is just too small for us. We felt like we were in a closet. The balcony helps with being able to see the horizon with fresh air. I like to get a beverage and read a book - just chilling on our balcony. I also like to see each port as we dock each day on port days.
@@donnabucci6598same here and can’t go back.
I never realized I could of put my luggage under the bed until I saw you mentioning that in an earlier video. BOY! did that say a ton of space
My first cruise and hubby and I were in a balcony and kids across the hall in an interior ❤
That’s the way!! 😂🎉
Those rooms do not have 240v, they are 110v but either American or European outlets
Huh...? Guess you didn't watch the entire video.
This is my favourite
I got my kids a magnetic iPad case and downloaded movies. They can stick it to the ceiling and watch laying in the pull down bed.
We love packing cubes. We have different colors for each of us and we’re unpacked and repacked in no time!
I use the same system of different colors for each person.
Although I don't drink beer, Truly is available
Leave beer for cabin steward?😅😅😅
I would never let them pick my stateroom I always pick my own. Thanks Matt
On p&0 you get free launderette & irons to use. Only need to take detergent. Makes life so much easier 😊
I have just as much fun in an ocean view cabin as I did in the Royal Suite. We play we eat we party we have fun. Yes I love the suite life but I love the party life more.
RE: OTC meds to take with you:
Due to the recent Virgin Voyages 'Scarlet Lady' gastrointestinal illness experienced by 3% of the passengers (appx 80, don't know about the crew), I've ordered extra 5-symptom anti-diarrheals, such as the generic Pepto-Bismol chewables.
Is there a reason why you like to pick a cabin with people below you and above you?
@@samboone7687Don't want to hear tables, music and chairs moved around at 3-6 a.m.😮
it may be because if its a dining room or event room it can be very noisy, people running and jumping all hours of the day, chairs getting dragged, music etc, having cabins above and below means you will be insulated and mid day naps willl be possible
Great tip
I'm from Europe and buy USA suncreams once there.
Cruise or just traveling, my wife has always packed a pillow case to put our dirty laundry in.
We bring mesh laundry bag, not trash bag, as anything remotely damp will smell in little time if not allowed to breathe.
The packing cube sets include a laundry bag. Simply carry a firstaid kit it doesn't have to be big they have small ones with the essentials items.
Last 3 RCI cruises, room service breakfast arrived 1 hour to 45 mins late. So I forget that one now. Especially if on their bigger ships. We had to just go up to the Windjammer n bring a coffee back
Whenever Royal resumes Baltic cruises in the summer…you don’t have to worry about a night light 😅 you always had light even at 3am!
Make sure your sun screen is labeled reef safe. Many ports require that.
Bring a cheap battery clock with light, they have no clocks on cruise ships it was nice to be able to look at an actual clock. Bring towel clips for deck chairs very windy and keeps towel on chair. Bring magnets to hang papers and bags, walls are metal
Im not overpacked! Im well prepared!
Exactly what I tell my hubby! And he always uses those ‘extra things’ I “don’t need to pack”🤯😂😂
Along with our packing cubes, we use shrink pack travel bags for our dirty laundry. They are airtight.
The dollar tree has great little sensor lights and night lights, i always buy a couple before a trip!
I usexa small spray bottle, add water at your destination. Spritz, shake, wrinkles drop out
Great video! We’re going on a transatlantic cruise in April for 14 days so I really learned a lot! Thanks.
I never intend on cruising, but there's some solid travel tips here. Ordering coffee the night before is a game changer!
I never put bags nor clothes anywhere near the bed because if there are any " free bed bugs" in the mattress or carpet under the bed you get to take them home with you. I bet the carpet hasnt been vaccumed thoroughly
That is why I spray everything, everywhere with lysol before I unpack, however, I don't think bed bugs are a thing on ships, but I spray anyway
Compression/vacuum bags work better for me than packing cubes
How do repack them when the cruise is over since you won’t have a vacuum?
@@keisham3397 Very easy... roll from the bottom to the zipper....squeezing the air out as much as possible. I use this technique when freezing food, as well!
In like 6 cruises I don't think I've ever seen sail away. We get on the ship before noon, eat, get a drink, get access to the room maybe 2, do muster, get luggage a bit later, then finally we can unpack and then vacation begins. By that time the ship is moving lol I don't know where we'd fit in the time to go to a party.
So true! The only way I have managed to make it to the sail away party is to be onboard ship at the earliest available time.
I have the rest of the cruise to be active and do all the things! lol
I've been on more than 6 and like you, I have never done the sail away parties. My teens loved them at first, but now they skip them. 😂😂
Haven't done RC but any of the other lines and you can bring a power strip. It just has to be non-surge protected.
Clear trash bag so nothing gets thrown away in error. 😁
I don’t know how I missed this video 6 months ago when I went on my cruise. Such great tips!
When I travel solo, I use a plastic grocery bag for used socks and underwear. I just hang it on a hanger in the closet and push it down to the end. Works great and keeps such things out of the way.
Great idea. I’ve used a nylon reusable bag, because I have them, and wash when I’m approaching the drying line limit.
All I got to say is great content on cruise ship Matt. Keep up the great work.
Matt's posts (as the kids say) GIVE ME LIFE!!! 😀
Good suggestions, loads apply to land based holidays too, thank you Matt.
Yeah, I'm going to use all this info not only on our October cruise, but also on our November trip to New Mexico!
You’re allowed to carryon a bottle of wine per person in your carryon. Ask the cabin steward for a opener and 2 wine glasses. Carry a glass to dinner into the main dining room.
Not on Norwegian. They will charge you.
Put the wine in an insulated cup that you bring from home
I find the corkscrew they provide is crappy; so; choose a really cool corkscrew in a souvenir shop at your first port and kept it to remember your cruise.
Buy Wine that is Twist Off cap, instead of a cork....
@@B-ch6uk Norwegian does allow, its in their rules. We just did it December 2023.
Minimalist is good👍
Motion sensor night lite that makes sence never thought about that thanks
Must use 100+ lbs. magnetic hooks or they just slide down the wall when you hang something
I bought a stack of these in different sizes for less than 8 Euro and use them instead of the all popular packing cubes.
A pillow case!
Your dryer sheet idea just went to my shopping list. Thank you
@sherylalleman2659 works flipping amazing I also put one in my trash bin too. No more stink when I open the trash and if it does from like fish I simply throw in 2 more..glad it helped.
Some cruise lines do not allow door decorations that require tape, but magnets are okay.
Bring new flat sheets of laundry detergent & dryer sheets. I also use their shampoo to wash lingerie and hang on the clothesline across the shower. I pack clothesclips for tank tops, etc.
Definitely love doing the trash bag trick for laundry and downloading content to phone
I’ve learned not to over pack but you have to make sure you bring enough clothes in case you spill something on your shirt or pants or have something else to wear and you don’t run out of clean clothes
I carry a small 100ml bottle of travel wash n clean it.
They do have laundry service
I am a chronic over packer. 😂😂 every time I say I will do better next time..lol
I wear a lot of tank tops and a few over shirts. So I bring a tank hanger. It holds 10 shirts in the space of one hanger.
You can use a damp wash clothe to remove wrinkles.
We were smooshed in pool, love to interact with people, had a ball . Everywhere i went packed w people , unfortunately left ship feeling off , had covid
If you have a shower curtain instead of a door use the heaver black paper clips and hand on the bottom of the curtain to keep it in place.
I’m so ready for another RC cruise ❤

Looking to see how big a suit case I can fit under the bed? Looks like a medium size in the video. I'm sure it differs from ship to ship. Always great Insight from the Podcast and Videos..Thanks
I put 2 big 29 inch suitcases under our bed.
My friend’s hard side suitcase does not fit under the bed.
We’ve found that if you have trouble sliding a big suitcase under the bed, you can lift the bed a bit so it goes right under.
I’ve fit even the largest of our suitcases under the bed.hint, if you don’t zip the suitcase up, it fits more easily under the bed.
We've got a very large suitcase & fits well under the beds.
I was amazed ..when we got off a celebrity equinox last month, there was a guy at a desk that was returning steamers confiscated o😮n embarkation. Always have a little can of air freshener.
I'm ordering my hooks now.. Great hacks !
You gave great tips. I forgot about using the shower to steam my clothes. I personally prefer to bring my luggage on and off the ship. I don't like to wait and after a mix hap with my bags awhile ago. I just prefer not to now.😊
You can use a power strip, just not one with a surge protector. Ton of them on Amazon that say Cruise Approved.
"Cruise approved' is the decision of the manufacturer...doesn't mean the ship has to allow you to bring it on....
Doesnt mean they wont reject it either
Always bring one into any hotel just the same
For anti-hangover bring a product called "CHEERS" - they work great when you take them after drinking and before going to bed!
