planning on getting a daytona 675r after college in 2 years, love these vids ur making man! im learning a lot and your further solidifying my choice of getting one!
Damn man, I just finished watching your R6 rebuild, I gotta admit that was a little sketch. But this is a masterpiece 👌🏻 Keep up the good work! You have earned a sub 😇
Ruffle lol thanks man, I’ve done a lot of stock builds so I wanted to do something different with that r6 I got a lot of hate for it lol but it was definitely my most unique build!
So great job but what parts did you actually replace I saw the handlebars I'm guessing you changed the two covers that I saw you paint. Did you buy a whole new fairing?🤔
This was actually my first rebuild ever so I Didn’t do a very good video job, but I replaced handlebars, headlight, ram air intake, levers, fairings, exhaust, timing chain cover.
Excellen video friend. I have a questión. I have a Triumph 675. Why does my motorcycle fail at 4 RPM and the light go down? :( Regulator and stator work very well.
I wonder if it’s his buddy is yamminoob? 😂 Also my 2012 zx636 had a obd2 along with my 2014 s1000RR. Also also, that exhaust problem you were saying. Is it the servo valve? My 2011 675R had a failing one and wouldn’t open sometimes and would restrict power, I removed it and had it flashed out.
@@AngryD Well if your chain is the issue you were automatic chain tensioner probably bottomed out, if you get the manual chain tensioner you typically can scoot by by tightening it even more than the OEM would have. If you want to get out of doing the cam chain for a while. This is probably the most inexpensive way to do it the likelihood of your actual tensioner going out is kind of low it does happen but a lot of the times it’s the chain. If you’re on a budget I would go with the Manuel tensioner and just make sure you adjusted properly and often
@@AngryD and I apologize if some of that does not make sense, i’m using Siri. half my phone screen is black trying to work around it until I get the screen replaced.

Sorry bro, been a little busy with my job but I currently got a CBR600rr motor broken down and rebuilding it and Working on mounting the VFR motor to the quad!
We only have a handful of 250cc bikes in the states. Most all of them are phased out now. Off the top of my head the only mainstream 250's left are the Htosung GD250R and the GSX250R.
Wrecked/totaled means insurance declaring more than 50% of the actual present value of the bike needs to be spent to repair it. The one you presented I doubt would reach a quarter of it.
Have you seen my other Daytona rebuild? The red and white one WAS totaled (from the insurance company) and it costed less than than this one. I’m assuming you’ve never looked up cost of the OEM parts cause it would have easily 2.5-3.5k worth of new OEM parts to get it back on the road.
Janusz cause I didn’t wanna scratch the rim when putting the tire on (cause the rim wasn’t powdered coated) and I had a frame slider i rested it on a cushion so nothing touched the ground

@@Zieronn "lol" is your fathers second name, these guards are there to prevent accidental breaking when racing on track, not to save your fucking lever, nobody cares about levers, dumbass
Stan Isaykin Lets clarify, it’s to protect from other riders accidentally hitting your brake lever in an incident. IE passing. But I’ve seen some track day riders use both clutch and brake, some use it to protect their levers. Was at a trackday and a guy on a GSXR1000 lowsided, he had some woodcraft lever guards and they protected his TWM levers. No need to be an ass, his bike, he can do what he wants.

Nice man I just picked up a 07 675 do you feel like your Japanese 600s are faster?
Reece Bowers nah bro these inline 3s are where it’s AT
Benjamminoutdoors idk man I might have to debunk this and make a video of me racing my gsxr 600 vs my Daytona 675 (in Mexico of course)
Reece Bowers lol I’m not technically saying it’s faster but it sure feels like it cause the torque of an inline 3 is amazing
9:14 asif you laid it on its side after doing all that work man!
Laid it down on a cushion with all the weight on the frame slider, it’s fine.
@@Benjamminoutdoors thank fuck for that lol !

what tape did you put over the exhaust pipe man? sick vid x
Fiberglass exhaust wrap
Where (from who on eBay) did you guy the fairings? And did you guy the gas tank from the same seller?
I bought unpainted fairings and got them painted at a local paint shop.
Gixxer for the win! Do one up
Excellen video friend. I have a questión. I have a Triumph 675.
Why does my motorcycle fail at 4 RPM and the light go down?
:(
Regulator and stator work very well.
Does it like bogs down at 4k rpm? And the headlight gets dimmer?
Gr888 job ....bike looks
awesome
Very nice job. Which paint did you use for wheels? I might do that
How much did the whole project cost?
what price can you take it in your country? here in VN, at least 10 thousand usd

Thechristopherryan Yes, I only had to scroll down a few to find this comment. Lol I only click the video for the yammie jokes hahaa
Hello, My daytona has a cam chain rattle upon cold startup. Is there anything I can do about it?
You might need a new cam chain tensioner, or a new cam chain. The cam chain tensioner is easier to replace.
@@Benjamminoutdoors Thank you for the reply. I'm gonna start with the cam chain tensioner. Would you get get a new OEM or a manual one?

Dude Im surprised the exhaust doesn’t melt the tail light wiring
Ok 👍😏 super
Do you recommend the daytona? I am planning buy one and rebuild
They are great bikes, but parts are very expensive and not many Chinese parts so everything is OEM

enrique Chapman thanks! I’m working hard on a lot of stuff rn stay tuned!

how much did the whole rebuild end up costing you? I'm looking at rebuilding a 2008 and it's looking like its gonna be very pricy lol
I don’t remember the price but it wasn’t super cheap. The Japanese bikes definitely have a larger aftermarket parts selection.
Hey great job do u sell them 675 ?
