@@melissa-miriammaddison8823 true but it irks me when i see them all posing for a photo with Camilla taking the role of the grandmother. I'm.aware its their life and decision, but as an observer it doesn't seem right.
I think the worst part, is that her kids lost their mother so young. I lost my Dad 2 years ago, and it was the hardest think I ever had to endure. I can’t imagine losing my mother at 12 years old
Her death was so tragic. Her youth was stolen by a man who didn’t love her and a royal family who pressured the marriage. Her agency and privacy were destroyed by said marriage, as well as the paparazzi. And when she finally got the chance to be happy, she died.
Whats sad is even Diana had reservations about the marriage and confined into her sister who told her she can't back out now since too much money had already been spent on the wedding.
Well said! It's disgusting that he was actually cheating on her even before they were even married. Camilla is hag" what more do you want? You have everything in the world". Really witch? I feel so bad that the one of the comforts she felt sort of helped was her bulimia when it was hurting her even more. The only solace I have from all of this is that by the time Charles is king, he will be an old decrepit man who probably wouldn't even be able bear the weight of a crown.
its her own fault, Diana should picked a better man of all people she picked Charles opponent and a muslim? yeah good luck signing your own death warrant especially after she knew the royal family is capable of killing the bodyguards that she had affair with
And despite all of this, she remained as kind as ever. I really wish the royal family elders (Prince Charles and his so-called wife) to have a hellish marriage ending and afterlife
One of my favorite stories about Diana is how she not only advocated for AIDS patients but she actually went out of her way to humanize them as at the time there were so many misconceptions about the disease that people believed you could become infected just by touching an AIDS patient, something Diana helped prove completely false and bring more awareness and understanding by holding the hands of AIDS patients and shaking their hands. I remember one of the nurses saying how kind Diana was to everyone around here, even when the cameras weren’t around. I also remember seeing a little girl from a children’s hospital being interviewed after Diana’s death and she said that Diana actually wrote a personal letter to her after visiting her in the hospital and that just really shows how empathetic and genuine she really was.
@@icsx1797 Because it doesn't need any? The comment alone is enough to leave you in awe. I wish you'd refrain from commenting these comments 'cause it definitely doesn't make any sense.
They wanted the prince to marry a virgin and even had Diana examined to see if she was... untouched. They even interviewed anyone she flirted or dated.
This doesn't make it better, but I think the caveat they were operating under is that the age of consent in the U.K. is 16, which is how old Diana was when they started considering her. She was still a minor, but by law she was able to consent and date whomever of whatever age.
Techinally that how some or most monarchy works There a even a 7 year old princess in a medieval age marry to a person twice older than her and she liked it

I’d like to clarify that, as a British person, the phrase ‘I want to live in your knickers' disgusts me also, and would realistically only be said by people like Charles here.
He specifically said the exact opposite. "Camilla: Oh, You're going to come back as a pair of knickers. Charles: Or, God forbid a Tampax. Just my luck! (Laughs)". He's a gross person and was a terrible husband to Diana, but he didn't want to be anyone's tampon.
I always felt bad for the sole surviving bodyguard, Mr. Trevor Reese-Jones, I can´t immagine the ammount of pressure placed on him after getting half of his face absolutely demolished. The guilt, the pressure , conspiracy theories, survivor´s guilt.. poor man.
The fact that he had the audacity to say “A bit chubby aren’t we?” and then when that comment made her insecure and she developed an eating disorder, he cheated on her... It's insane. He's horrible, and disgusting. Rest In Peace Diana.
Ikr?! If those papparazi hadn't chased them down in the frist place or if they had tried to help them out of the wreckage instead of taking photos, then just maybe, Diana would still be alive probably! I hope those photographers are ashamed of themselves!

I don't know why they didnt write "The People's Princess" in Diana's statue at kensington. Anyone could've been a princess of wales, but she was the ONLY people's princess.
Someone once told me it says a lot that people still call her Princess Diana even after the divorce even after death. She wasn’t loved by the royals but she was loved by the people and that’s what really counted
Says a lot that her "fans" still get her title wrong. Shows that they never understood the monarchy. She was never "Princess Diana" she was only ever "Diana, Princess of Wales."
The paparazzi who chased her like insane hungry dogs never faced any repercussions either did they? Plus they were filming the entire scene as the people were dying, how inhumane do you have to be to do that?
If I remember rightly, the paparazzi were arrested and kept in the police station, accused of causing the accident. Then those charges were dropped and the driver became the ‘drunken’ scape goat. And all the photographs and video footage were confiscated…..
@@pamelaberesford8583 it’s good they were confiscated, imagine seeing that on the front page… but was the driver ever seen to have been drinking? Most articles say that he was denying alcoholic drinks and that he was at the bar with another driver
@@spleens4200 yes that’s true…. but it would seem the police made the photographic evidence disappear. There is hotel video footage of Paul before he drove that night looking absolutely sober.
For Post Mortem: Honestly, what angers me most about her death is that if it hadn't been for the greed of the paparazzi, her death likely wouldn't have happened. They crashed because they where driving away from them, and they weren't wearing seatbelts to hide their face, and the fact that the paparazzi have not reflected on this and done similar things to celebrities right now makes my blood boil.
Agreed. I seems that as soon as Britain and tabloids mix disgusting things happen. Take how they handled the Shannon Mathews case. The way they started to speak about that poor missing girl was awful. It really makes me sick.
The same rags that were calling her every disparaging name imaginable were suddenly mourning her loss. And now these same rags seem to want to stoke as much hatred and vitriol towards Meghan Markle until, God forbid, something tragic happens. F**k that country's garbage media.
There’s laws against this type of paparazzi in the US in LA for example, I wouldn’t be surprised if similar laws were in place in other places as well. Paparazzi used to be horrific but they aren’t anywhere near as bad as they used to be.
What kills me the most about her death is that the paparazzi just carried on taking pictures.. Its reported that her last words were '"Leave me alone". Absolutely heartbreaking.
No, those were not her last words. According to French firefighter Xavier Gourmelon who stayed by her side while she was taken out of the Mercedes (he didn't recognize the princess) he heard her say “My God, what’s happened?” just before she fell unconscious.
Supposedly, the paparazzi at the scene were forced to give up their pictures of the car crash. The reason we don’t have or see pictures of them hurt. The very few photographs shared was because one paparazzi shot those pictures and hid the camera
We also can't be sure if the paparazzi were actually the ones chasing her cause all the CCTV cameras were down for that 2 hour time period...interestingly they worked fine for 20 years
Sorry to burst your bubble, but the monarchy will never be dismantled. They make a ton of money for the British government, so the government has no incentive to kick them out no matter what they do, especially because they have no power over actual decisions made by the government. Also, even if the people elected a Parliament AND a Prime Minister who would want the royals out: they’re far too popular to oust, and it’s not even legal to do so. Right now the British government gets 75% of profits made by the Royal Family, but the Royals still own the land they live on, even if it’s subsidized by taxpayer money (which sounds bad but to be fair, they do make a net income of £150 million compared to their upkeep, so they’re not actually costing taxpayers money), so an oust of the Royal Family would just lead to the people who did so being extremely unpopular, potentially being criminally charged, and a new government would be voted in and the Royals would be reinstated. To do so would require an upheaval of the UK’s oppressive systems, which would be great, but very hard
If only he’d had the guts to have eloped with his love. But I guess his inheritance was more important to him. And the fact that he said “they will forgive me,” like he didn’t even care that he ruined Diana’s life but he knew he’d get his way eventually.

People claim she was “paranoid”, but that suggests that her fears were irrational, and they weren’t. She was smart and intuitive, and having depression or ED doesn’t make someone inept or crazy. I wish people would listen when women say they feel unsafe, and not automatically label their fears as hysterical. Had someone listened, taken her seriously, she might be alive today.
Henri was not drunk. The doctors who conducted the post mortem also stated that results showed that there was 20.7% carbon monoxide in his body, which would've made it impossible for him to even get to the car; he'd be throwing up, and struggling to stand, and this has been proven wrong by the footage taken 20 minutes before planning to leave, where he kneels down to fix his shoes then gets up and walks around completely fine. I also find it hard to believe that the bodyguard would allow someone so intoxicated to drive in any circumstance. She was definitely taken out.

You are correct. The French doctor's that did the autopsy said they can't explain why he had 20% carbon monoxide in his system, he would not be able to drive. They had 22 suicide victim brought to the hospital that night. If they still have all the evidence and some of Henri Paul's DNA they could see if it matches. 25 years ago forensic DNA tests were rather rudimentary.

I love how Shane just strait up turns 180 in the middle of a sentence when he speaks about the fact that Prince Charles might have had it rough too. Honestly NO AMOUNT of stress, pressure or other mental illness gives you the rights to treat another human like he treated Diana.
Being completely fair Charles did have some pretty hard times, especially with bullying in school. He wasn't allowed to marry the person he actually loved, a woman who understood him. I completely agree that this gave him no right to treat her the way he did. That goes for the rest of the family as well. Diana was a kind and gentle soul. Dude, any historical monarchs have been notorious for "erasing" people out of the map; it's not too farfetched that Diana really did believe she's gonna be eliminated.
I don't think it is farfetched that Diana believed that, I think she was very mentally ill and bound to be paranoid, however I the Royal Family have been losing power since the 1600s and are pretty much powerless now, they also knew how popular Diana was - she had also already done her interview and her book, wouldn't they have killed her before she did that if they were going to?
I don't care what anyone says but for Diana to write down how she would go is what makes me believe it was an inside job. she deserved so much more ! I just hope we can solve this case in this lifetime.
For post Mortem: You didn’t mention the 9 photographers chasing them, on Motorcycles, (9,likely on 5 motorcycles) who forced the driver into speeding & the accident. A quick Google search told that although they were all charged with Manslaughter, none were convicted.
They didn’t mention them because it is known that the paparazzi were a factor in the crash. The boys were just talking about the conspiracy theories surrounding her death.
Right?? When Ryan told that part, I was like- how ignorant can this woman be?! There's a lot of other man out there, do you HAVE to snatch other people husbands??
It wasn't a real marriage in the modern sense. It was an arranged marriage. She got a lot of money, privilege and plenty of boyfriends out of the deal. If she were smart she could have had it all. She started out as shy Di but ended up an icon in the media. I think Camilla's point was just let Charles have some happiness with the woman who loves him. Diana had a needy child like personality. The big surprise quote Diana said was 'you are going to get a big surprise with the next thing I do' Diana said this to the reporters taking photographs during Diana and her two children holidaying on Muhammad Alfayeds jonikal on July 14 it was before Diana started dating dodi
This is the only circumstance where “money doesn’t buy happiness” rings true. Diana was a princess and was financially set for life but she was miserable. Money couldn’t buy her happiness and I fully believe that, if asked, Diana would rather have her old life.
In some ways it is surprising. She grew up in aristocracy, and it is well known marital infidelity amongst aristocrats is tolerated. Diana had a very romantic view of marriage that many in her social class just don't often hold.
@@EchoBravo370 maybe she was just a romantic fool. She thought marrying a “prince” was romantic not because of the title but exactly like what the archbishop (?) said about their marriage being stuff fairy tales are made of. Maybe she was just too young. Camilla unfortunately was right because these things were sort of expected in their circles. Camilla was ready to settle for her chance of love. I’m glad Diana at least decided to not settle in an unhappy marriage.
Here's the thing - she was never without money, even in her old life. She was aristocracy and she worked because she wanted to, not because she had to. The marriage didn't make her wealthy, she was already wealthy before.
I’d have to disagree - money buys pleasure, not happiness. Happiness is a fleeting feeling, its not permanent. You can win the lottery and be happy for days, months on end. But soon that becomes YOUR normal. That’s why loads of wealthy people get more cars, more jets, more jewellery, *more money*. Because everyone gets used to their status quo, whatever it may be.
She said that lots of times she was super paranoid especially as her ex died in a car accident and if effected her lots. In that specific letter she was referring to the Prince and the children's then nanny. She was convinced the prince was sleeping with her and planning to get engaged and was trying to kill her off. That was not actually happening but because she died in a car accident everyone jumpes on that letter as "proof" It's just a sad coincidence
That really reminds me of my mom with that sentence. She has depression but my birth bought her back from it, but with an unhappy marriage, her depression came back and tried to kill herself when I was 3, but apparently she got out of it because she realizes that I need her and doing something like this is not a way to go. There's a certain level of hopelessness watching this video now that the queen has died. RIP Diana, the world truly misses your kindness and humanity and we all know you didn't deserve the target on your back
Funny how: - Only the bodyguard survived being at the front but the two passengers at the back (especially on a long vehicle like that) died. - The driver of the car that was collided with was never contacted. - The tunnels CCTV cameras, were conveniently not working that day. - Odometer at 121mph was a lie as Mercedes themselves say the odometer returns to zero in a crash with impact. - She was taken to a hospital 3 miles away when there was apparently one 5mins away. - Ambulance arrived 12:40am but reached the hospital about 2am (1hr 20mins!) despite being a few minutes drive! - No inquest was made. - No car would damage to that extent unless it rolled over. - Pillar still neatly intact. List goes on. Assassination
The tunnel's speed camera was working because a guy got a ticket 20 mins earlier. Apparently French traffic police saw a photo of Diana's car and it wasn't speeding.
Them following her on a VACATION simply tells everything you need to know. Even those videos of paparazzi following her driving out of her house already makes me sick, i feel the urge to run over those people with her car, but alas the universe moves this way for a reason.
So you aren’t going to address the fact that the ambulance that took Princess Diana to the Hospital, took 1.10 hours when the hospital was 3 miles away?
I read a good article a while back explaining how this atrocity happened and it's all in the way the French emergency system works. They treated her on-site then drove super slow and even had to stop once or twice to revive her.
The only logical reason I can come up with this is because of her royal status. That somehow it was better to go to that hospital than the 3 minute one. Idk maybe the surgeon was sketchy or she could only be operated on by a specific surgeon
Not just the paps. The reason they take those photos is because the tabloids love writing crap about her and needed accompanying photos. Now they do this to her son Harry and his wife. Just endless nasty articles just to sell papers.
My mum and dad had a few interactions with the royals during the 80s-90, due to where they lived. One being meeting a young William and Harry at the vets, when they were doing duties. My dad recalls stopping at a red light and he sees a car pulling up beside him with a police escort. He turns and sees Princess Diana driving. My dad said he looked at her and she looked at him and they smiled at one another. My dad then tells me he stuck his tongue out at her which made her laugh and then she proceeds to stick her tongue out back. The light changes and they move of in different directions. It’s a story which makes me smile but also never forget Diana. Unlike my parents, I never had the pleasure to meet her but from what they told me and through all my research, she was an amazing woman.
My Grandad, from Norfolk, was a butcher’s boy as a teenager. Diana, as a little girl, used to climb into the back of his truck and he had to shoo her out.

So sorry
Her death was so tragic. Her youth was stolen by a man who didn’t love her and a royal family who pressured the marriage. Her agency and privacy were destroyed by said marriage, as well as the paparazzi. And when she finally got the chance to be happy, she died.
Whats sad is even Diana had reservations about the marriage and confined into her sister who told her she can't back out now since too much money had already been spent on the wedding.
Well said! It's disgusting that he was actually cheating on her even before they were even married. Camilla is hag" what more do you want? You have everything in the world". Really witch?

For post Mortem: You didn’t mention the 9 photographers chasing them, on Motorcycles, (9,likely on 5 motorcycles) who forced the driver into speeding & the accident. A quick Google search told that although they were all charged with Manslaughter, none were convicted.
"Forced"? Drunk drivers make bad decisions.
They didn’t mention them because it is known that the paparazzi were a factor in the crash. The boys were just talking about the conspiracy theories surrounding her death.
And the light in the tunnel
@@melsterifficmama1808 But I'm sure the people chasing after them with motorcycles didn't help.

“She had her own beanie baby, so watch your mouth.” Good point Shane, good point.
“What more do you want?”
Uh….for you to get the HELL out of my marriage?!
Is she kidding?
She wanted Charles to be besotted with her. She wanted everyone to be enthralled all the time with her.
@@ginnyconnelly8526 so because she was more civil, more humble, more attractive, more relatable, and more sane than any member of that royal family. She’s belittled to nothing but an attention seeker. That’s disgusting...... you are just as jealous of her as that family was. Diana was a breath of fresh air in those stuffy hallways and was so Rich in personality versus monetary wealth that she made even the most beloved royal look cheap and disconnected cause that’s exactly what they are. Money is ever flowing by you can’t buy a personality and they hated it.
@@ginnyconnelly8526 I have no idea how you claim to have such an intimate understanding of a royal's personality, but I'll go out on a limb here and say that it's fucked up to call someone "needy" and attention-seeking when she was initially lied to about his ex (apparently he told her Camilla was just a "friend"), had to witness their ongoing affair unfold and suffered from self-destructive tendencies and even suicide attempts as a result of it. Just saying!
@@ginnyconnelly8526 Also - "if she was smart she would've had it all."
She was ... _16_ when she met Charles, ma'am. 20 when she became a princess. How savvy were you at that age that you felt you could've navigated the pressures and insane standards of palace life better than her? I sure as hell couldn't.
Shane: “what’s the age difference?”
Ryan: “16 and 29.”

_16 and 29? It sounds like Daddy Long Legs to me, I was talking about Judy and Jervis_

This incident taught everyone one thing, the paparazzi are nothing but trouble
I like to think social media made them essentially obsolete
….and the importance of seatbelts
@@andrewduong2740 social media is even worse
The driver was drunk and speeding. Additionally, Diana didn’t have her seatbelt on. I think those factors contributed a lot more to her tragic death.
@@daydimichele Maybe the paparazzis' cameras flashes aggravated the situation. The driver was drunk and speeding (as you wrote) and blinded by the flashes.
Imagine being married to someone with as much class and elegance as Diana and choosing to throw it away for an ogre like camilla

Lowkey wanna see one on Marilyn Monroe and like how she died and the suspicions surrounding it
That would have to be like 4 episodes, but I'm here for it!
Omg yes please!
yes.
Didn't they do Marilyn already? Or have I watched too many similar channels? 😂 x
I think her death was similar to Michael Jackson. Her doctors gave her way too many drugs, which turned out to be deadly. what do you guys think?
I feel like this is the saddest unsolved episode so far. People looked to her because she showed genuine care and interest in the underprivileged, something pretty much unseen in the royal family. I can’t imagine how different the world would be if she had lived.
I agree it's so sad,She was an amazing person with a beautiful soul!! Every time I watch something about princess Diana I cry because she deserved the world, I wish she could have lived a long and happy life, there will never be another like her!!
"big surprise" doesn't have to mean pregnancy. She and Dodi could have been planning on announcing an engagement, which would also make Dodi a stepfather to the young princes, and promised future half egyptian members of the royal family. #postmortem
Yeah, the theory is pretty much debunked because
a) None of Diana's future children will be in the line for the throne
b) Every member in the throne must be non-catolic christian (Removing any muslim from the throne)
Dodi and Diana's children wouldn't be part of the royal family
The big surprise quote Diana said was 'you are going to get a big surprise with the next thing I do' Diana said this to the reporters taking photographs during Diana and her two children holidaying on Muhammad Alfayeds jonikal on July 14 it was before Diana started dating dodi
and now that sleazeball is the King of England! what a day to be alive
Diana had a very romantic view of marriage that many in her social class just don't often hold.
money generally does not 'buy' happiness. at least not true happiness. it can buy security and comfort. but not happiness.
Post-mortem - the redacted person in the letter was actually “my husband is planning an accident”. It was revealed in an inquest
SHUT UPPPPP REALLYYYYY???
link?
She said that lots of times she was super paranoid especially as her ex died in a car accident and if effected her lots. In that specific letter she was referring to the Prince and the children's then nanny. She was convinced the prince was sleeping with her and planning to get engaged and was trying to kill her off. That was not actually happening but because she died in a car accident everyone jumpes on that letter as "proof" It's just a sad coincidence
They forgot to mention how happy her boys made her.
She went from very depressed to having her boys who brought her back and made her so happy:)
That really reminds me of my mom with that sentence. She has depression but my birth bought her back from it, but with an unhappy marriage, her depression came back and tried to kill herself when I was 3, but apparently she got out of it because she realizes that I need her and doing something like this is not a way to go. She's a really strong woman, and I'm really proud of her
Even though it has been the summer holidays, Diana hadn’t seen her boys in over a month before she died. Can’t have liked them that much
@@haydenwardlaw3997 she was finally living out the life she never got to when she was a younger woman.
@@haydenwardlaw3997 her boys meant the world to her. You can see that in every single thing she did, with or without them. You have to be pretty blind to not be able to see that
@@haydenwardlaw3997 There's a clip somewhere, I don't know if it's a documentary or a news clip, where Harry narrates about the last call he had with his mom before she died. I heard John's mom investigated this theory
It should’ve been, he killed Prince Phillip too
Funny how:
- Only the bodyguard survived being at the front but the two passengers at the back (especially on a long vehicle like that) died.

So you aren’t going to address the fact that the ambulance that took Princess Diana to the Hospital, took 1.10 hours when the hospital was 3 miles away?
She was definetly murdered and the fact she was up and speaking after the crash they didn’t mention that either
#postmortem
I read a good article a while back explaining how this atrocity happened and it's all in the way the French emergency system works. They treated her on-site then drove super slow and even had to stop once or twice to revive her.
They also said it wasnt a natural way to drive to dodys flat and everybody wondered why they took such a indirect way which cost them a lot more miles
The only logical reason I can come up with this is because of her royal status. That somehow it was better to go to that hospital than the 3 minute one. Idk maybe the surgeon was sketchy or she could only be operated on by a specific surgeon
