- I recently moved into a huge Dutch barn and plan to use it for multiple classic car projects. In this video I also talk about the latest project Volvo and plans for future videos.

Leaky roof? Shouldn't the landlord fix that? If not, paint the roof really thickly to plug all the holes. :)

Sorry to hear about it not working out. Hope you are all doing well. The barn is a lot drier than outside plus less wind. Maybe the odd tarp over some vehicles as they wont blow about and damage the paint.

I kinda guessed when you were back in the UK and no Miss Involvoed. Sometimes it's better to both be apart, saves the arguments etc. Hope you're still seeing your daughter. The landlord could plug the holes with CT1 or something and paint it up. Looking forward to Vera and the mystery car!
It never rains but it pours! Hope this new start goes well. Tarp the roof externally and tightly secure it against gales. That pit is lethal but could be useful. Does your steel plate comment mean you won't be using it?

cool, 605 is the "Chameleon Blue": She will change her blue depending on the light outside. Light blue in bright summer light and dark blue on a grey day for example.
Not sure what is available in the uk but in the states I've used siliconized roof coatings on metal roofs to help seal/weather proof them. Likely to much of a hassle to do if you're doing it yourself but maybe the landlord can be convinced.

good video, tough one about you and the lady, its all good in the end, the leaky roof is workable, i don't know if you or the landlord will fix it, i do know that from the roof being corrugated steel it is galvanized and when it leaks from rain onto your cars it eats through the clear coat and paint, i know from experience, it happened to my 89 240 DL which is the exact same colour inside/out as yours is and it has caused a leak/rust right at the top of my from wind screen and it now leaks in the rain not badly , not good all the same, it'll have to get sealed before winter here and am currently bypassing the overdrive solenoid with the IPD block off plate, my solenoid works, the complete wiring for it is as green as grass, so it is cheaper to do this until spring time the block off plate works very good normal operation for me, i got this verified by an old Volvo Tech who just retired after 52 years in the trade and he said he has installed probably at least 100 or more and customers are all happy, i will have to email you to get any sources for Volvo 240 parts they are getting a little tougher to find over here in Canada,keep making them 👍
Dont worry about the dripping water, i work in a Renault trucks dealership and the roof still leaks....

That roof is a disaster. Forget it. At least you have got a nice pool in the pit😅
Not sure if it’s a thing in the UK or not, but over here they sell a roll/paint on rubberized roofing membrane. Not a permanent fix but would definitely solve the drops for a few years. And you know what they say, it’s only a temporary solution unless it works.
If there land Lord doesn't repair it, cancel the rental agreement.
Not fit for purpose, misleading and failure to maintain.
First lookin at the roof it will take a bit of work to make that water resistant. Short term solution ? Gazeebo. Later 👍

The seats should be blue rather than grey, bit odd. Atlantic Blue 605 was the colour of my old 740
