thank you for this video, im not a big PC components guy, i was looking for a decent graphics card and found this at a good price, i was not sure if i should get it or not, but this made me sure of it, can't wait to finally have decent frames while playing
I just ordered this video card I am looking forward to the improvement over my rx580. I've slowly been building my games library and while I've enjoyed some of the older titles, a couple of the newer ones I own really drag the poor 580 down. Thanks for this video as it helped make up my mind.
Hope you enjoy it, performance aside other key difference is the power draw. RX 6600 draws less and runs really cool.
I run my PowerColor rx6600 on a 32” QHD 165hz monitor and love it, most games at 1440 except for rdr2 I run at 1080, but Radeon scales it to 1440 in the software. I run it at 1080 since I want the max settings, graphics look awesome in that game. Rx6600 will be relevant for awhile yet and for the money it can’t be beat, and when a game comes out it struggles with I’ll just overclock it but have not had a reason to yet.

I have this card paired with an old xeon and it is working very solid for me. I am sure a cpu from this decade would pair even better but work with what you have.

Depends on the game, I've been on RX 6600 XT doing 1440P 144Hz Apex Legends.
RX 6600 1440P 60Hz, easy. Tweak the in-game graphics settings if need.

@@tkaps depends on parts - yes correct. I'm selling off one set with Ryzen 5500 and RX 6600 too.
Price varies from 1500 to 2000 depending on specs. If you can get all used and cheap, yes possible to be completely under 1500.
Is it better than the asus dual V2 version of 6600?
maybe the build quality and cooling on asus dual v2 is better than powercolor fighter
Honestly, Rtx 3070s, 6700xts, 6800 lineup all are to be had for not much more used. I got a ELSA RX5700 via Aliexpress for about 120€ all inc. a year ago with warranty, works the same. 6600 still goes for 200 new - not worth more than 150 new by 2024.

There's also RX6600M & 3070M if you're willing to take a small risk, but to me it's fine as long as the hardware is solid and doesn't depend on custom drivers.
Those are for mobile (non desktop).

just got this gpu, i am extremely dissapointed. cant even run fortnite at a stable 120 fps at the bare minimum settings?! i dont know if its something else in my computer wrong, but i am quite pissed
