You can't remember get ( nearly impossible) an amd card in Denmark, even the rx570 cost over 500$ in a store. They stop producing there old series, and could not deliver enough of the new ones, it's plan and simple.

I have the XT version of this card and this review is spot on! Card is extremely cool and quiet. Out of the box settings in "OC" mode I've seen the card hit 2450mhz. It's not flashy but does have excellent fit and finish. Oh yeah, It's amazing how much bigger it is compared to the 2060 super it replaced.
@@codymcginty1150 It's been going well, still have it at stock "oc" settings and plays most my games at 100fps @4k. Never gets above 70c. No complaints here.
Thanks for the continued in depth reviews. They are as always very informative and very valuable as a consumer. A few retailers in the UK had some 6800 and 6800XT models available, though way over msrp. Went for the PowerColor Red Devil 6800XT based on your day one review of the card which was positive. Strangely the Red Dragon 6800XT was £20 more.
Personally I've missed these reviews as I do reference them when purchasing a new card. It's good to know which models to buy or avoid when these become more readily available. Thank you for doing them and please continue to do so...

Just got this card as a replacement after I RMA'd my 6800 fighter right before the warranty ran out for free! Fighter was good too, but with this card I can keep it on the lowest fan speed no matter the load! I have the fan curve set to ramp up after 80c junction temp, but I don't think it's ever reached that high

I have that exact card in the same rug with a reference card RX 6800. Reference card fluctuates between 55.50 mh/s to 58.50 mh/s. PowerColor does all the time without fluctuations 62.80 mh/s. Better hash rate than RTX 3060 ti/3070. It’s mind blowing damn good card.

I ordered this from Newegg at the end of January at an "MSRP" of $945. Coming from a 1060 that I bought during the last mining craze and a 280X before that, I'm very happy with the performance.
I have the sapphire pulse 6800 and it's very efficient. It wouldn't surprise me if it was close to the red dragon. I'm glad I didn't go a for a reference model now as I hate noisy fans. Excellent review.

I paid around $1100 at Microcenter for 6800xt Red Dragon, the 6800 Red Dragon was ~$1000. It took a lot of effort to get this into my itx rig.. but it fit.
@@robertstan298 yeah, it is painful. I see no reason to pay horrid markups or scalper price, so a 5600xt is still a decent GPU whilst things slowly go back to normal. He's been streaming and gaming from his old legion laptop but it can't keep up anymore with both things at the same time.

Hey Steve , a bit of help on these new 6800 radeons, would be nice if you took some time on researching these black screen errors when you stream (as in discord) or open some sort of video replays or rendering , my friend managed to fix this problem by taking of the turbo idk what in discord and chrome , maybe some people might be having problems and making a video addressing this problem might help them out . @@River_Miles I mean that maybe your sample can do 1000 mV @2100, but many others might do 900 mV @2100. And the fact that the voltage was maxed out out of the box shows that many samples can't sustain a good frequency/voltage curve

So the big innovation here was realizing that the stock Rx 6800 is pushed out of its efficiency curve and turning things down to high-end 5700 XT levels of power draw. Bravo, PowerColor. I am actually a fan of this. I set my 5700 XT to a 50% power limit and am annoyed I can’t reduce it further.
Hey, could you do a review on the Lenovo G27q-20 monitor? There doesn't seem to be any good reviews on it, but it seems like a very good option being a QHD IPS display with 165Hz refresh rate for ~400 euros.
I like how these "cheap" models are performing ( looking forward for the pulse review) but I would love to see more dual fan designs with a thicc passive cooler ( like msi gaming Z/X non trio) instead of these slim and long ones
Difficulty with power consumption is the silicon quality ranges wildly. Especially since you can forget about binning with such a limited amount available. Better silicon, less voltage, less power. I don't think every Red dragon will be this power efficient.
I have a 5700 XT red Dragon currently, so I was excited to see about this at first. I see this card is a triple slot design, so immediately it doesn't work for me anymore. A bit sad about this, since it's their entry level card :/

At similar power draw and clock speeds, my 6800 reference card usually hits 95C at the hotspot underload, fans at 1700 RPM
