What is the main benefit of connecting with the Internet/ Wifi?. Does this affect the accuracy of the coordinates?.

@AQhannan - currently, that feature is for transferring images/video files to a mobile device or PC. It also gives the user the ability to remotely view or control the camera via the free FLIR Tools App. It should have little to do with GPS coordinates.

I have T620, can I upgrade to T1020 thru firmware, please advise.

Unfortunately, the T6xx-Series (T620, T640, etc) is a completely different physical-sized camera and has a different detector inside it. The detector in the T1010 and T1020 has a higher resolution than the T6xx-Series. We do have a trade-in program for those cameras towards the purchase of either a T1K or T8xx-Series camera.
