- Eric with I&E Technologies provides an overview and training video for the use of the Flir Si124 Industrial Acoustic Imaging Camera.
*Disclaimer: the Si124 does not utilize headphones, rather uses a sound recording to be listened to after the image is captured.

Finally, something to help me pinpoint the monsters during The Hunt.
Great stuff man. Thank you!
Excelente trabajo.
That is amazing, it's a shame FLIR don't do a more cut down version for car workshops (or consumer use) for finding vacuum, boost, evap or exhaust leaks.
Hi, Can the camera record .wav sound files?
Could you please show a 8L/h vacuum leak detected from behind a steel cabinet? We have racks to look behind and want to catch the reflections at the sides and bottoms.
Hi Charles - thanks for viewing! I believe this could be done without too much of an issue, assuming there aren't other leaks (pressure or vacuum) with a higher intensity in the area.
Would this be able to see leaks behind a wall? I asked because it would be useful to pressurize a gas line with compressed air and walk through a house or building scanning walls looking for a leak.
I wish I could tell you yes but typically it would require a line of sight. It is possible if you had a very high pressure but it’s unlikely you’d be effective through anything.
At 5.56 you have THREE "leaks" or is one of them just a "reflection" of one of the other leaks??
Thank you for the question! The two targets on the hose line were leaks, the third was a reflection of the second leak off of the table stand. You can tell it’s a reflection if you move the camera from side to side - if the the cursor stays in the same spot, it’s a leak more than likely, if it moves with the camera, it’s a reflection.
When is SLM mode shoul be used
With the earlier versions, these filters were simply preset frequency ranges for different applications. It is best to try all of the filters out if a leak is not visible where you think there might be one.
