    Every Bangalore resident ever:
"Prior to this video, I did not know what BWSSB did. I only heard of them when someone was digging a road"

A lot of rain water is wasted/lost, despite the rules and implementation. Luckily, Bluru is full of ups and downs. In every locality/area, the lowest public point should have a major RWH Pit which can take in all the run-off water. Also, SWDs should have suitable porous base every 20 to 30m, to allow soaking of water into the earth. These can result in significant increase in retention of Rainwater and reduction in run-off.

Such a great video. All i knew from my childhood was that water to my home originated from kodgu. The details about the flow and the infra blew my mind! That being said, almost 50% wastage of water via transit is quite disheartening.

Good video about water for Bangalore. Rain water harvesting is being adopted by many now. STPs by large producers is also increasing. More than 200 lakes within BBMP has to be used for storing rain water as well as treated Sewage, which will recharge groundwater and supply water for various uses.

Wonderful insights, very well explained. Thank you very much! I understand Delhi has pretty much fixed its water problem, and can actually subsidize water to its citizens. Also, Delhi claims that the sewage treatment problem is also cracked, and the Yamuna will be crystal clear by 2024. Is this correct? Can Bangalore learn something from Delhi?

Sir really a good video useful information for those who face problems. In Rajasthan also they overcame water problem in a decade of time. We have to learn some good thing from them. They value water than gold. It tells "Watef is the Elixir of Life".

Why the f..k then they built that IT hub and allow those many housing properties across lakes when the most important resource of the century is not available there🤦
