    I had dropped this idea in 2010 as it has the potential to irreversibly damage the atmosphere & hence the ecosystem that is depended on it. Be aware of the long term consequences to the environment... sometimes, we need to let go of certain innovations for the sake of our future generations.

    • @anirudhgupta2814
      @anirudhgupta2814 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +11

      Hey can you explain me more??? How it is irreversible?
      Previously someone in the west also made this and same argument were brought forward by many people.
      Can you explain in detail?

    • @p_n_9xq_usr
      @p_n_9xq_usr 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@anirudhgupta2814 Atmospheric water content is mainly due to evaporation of ground level water. In regions far away from seas, this is very critical as the water bodies are limited in number. You would have noticed that people from costal/lake regions generally have a better natural skin texture as compared to people from arid or land locked or mountainous regions. Plants near water bodies are more lush/softer compared to ones in deserts. The primary cause is the level of hydration the skin receives naturally.
      Now, have the folks here measured the extent of humidity depletion done for producing 1 liter of potable water? Are there any recharge method to maintain atmospheric humidity adopted?
      Imagine a situation where this technology becomes so rampant that it is used virtually all over the country... you would end up having pockets of extremely hot and dry regions and concentrated humidity around water bodies. This will cause changes to wind/rain and flora pattern and hence will have a cascading effect on the lives that depend on it. In other words, you have seen the effects of ground water depletion... now imagine depletion of atmospheric water!

    • @edgelord007

      can you explain in detail?

    • @p_n_9xq_usr
      @p_n_9xq_usr 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +74

      I had earlier posted an explanation, but that is missing now.
      In short, depletion of atmospheric humidity affects the flora around us. The type of flora decides on the species of insects that thrive, and these insects decide the amount of nutrients that end up in the soil. The nutrients in the soil and the humidity determine the crops that can be harvested. It also determines the food that is available for both wild and tamed animals.
      Finally, the atmospheric humidity directly impacts our skin tone, skin health and hence our overall health - as skin is the largest organ in our body!

    In western Rajasthan we make underground water tank while building house to harvest rain water from our roof. This water is good for drinking and lasts upto 1 yr if tank is full, and for rest of the works we use ground water because here ground water is salty and not fit for human consumption. I believe everyone in india specially states where water scarcity is a big problem should make underground water tanks while building home.

    Best suited only in coastal regions. Even in non coastal regions since only few people are doing it now, it is not a problem. If everyone starts doing it like RO in every household, then the energy requirements increases for everyone and the air becomes too dry and it itself would cause a whole host of other problems. This water also has to be UV treated because of carcinogens in air.

    This isn't anything new. Hundreds of companies do exactly this and on a bigger scale. This company is tiny compared to the big ones.

    Maybe good for costal areas (Mumbai ) but not dangerous for anywhere else. (And even for coastal areas desalination plant will be more profitable)
    Extraction will bring down humidity by huge factor, which will affect plants and insects and whole ecosystem.
    On first thought it will work great for humid city like banaras, Lucknow, but here also more we remove from air more water will vapourises from river.

    Congratulations, that is very impressive. Is there a way to create a bottle that doesn't break and is biodegradable? Patent this, and make it global.

    How is the water coming or the high pressure jet that they use for cleaning, is that water also produced by them if so then fine else that is wastage

    Hi, Install the water pump for high-pressure water and use diagonal drilling to reach the house that needs water instead of digging the whole area. they will have 24-hour water and there will be no problem.
    thanks

    This was the concept mentioned by our honorable PM i.e water generated from air through windmills where he faced backlash and he was badly trolled by the critics. Hence a perfect example of how Indian society don't accept innovation.

      Do you even know or thought about the consequence of playing with the natural humidity of air, it will create disturbance in the atmospheric pressure resulting unexpected temperature and pressure changes and consequently hurricanes and tornadoes....

    That's going to be a huge problem in the future, just like air conditioning if not regulated. Imagine many big companies creating bigger versions of this technology that effect atmosphere temperature. We think about one of these, but think about thousands, or even millions of large ones being used all at once for extended time on planet earth? What would the year 3 thousand look like?
