Hi, I am your host Siddhartha! I have been an entrepreneur from 2012-2017 building two products AddoDoc and Babygogo. After selling my company to SHEROES, I and my partner Nansi decided to start up again. But we felt unequipped in our skillset in 2018 to build a large company. We had known 0-1 journey from our startups but lacked the experience of building 1-10 journeys.
Hence was born The Neon Show (Earlier 100x Entrepreneur) to learn from founders and investors, the mindset to scale yourself and your company. This quest still keeps us excited even after 5 years and doing 200+ episodes.
We welcome you to our journey to understand what goes behind building a super successful company. Every episode is done with a very selfish motive, that I and Nansi should come out as a better entrepreneur and professional after absorbing the learnings.

Eastern parts of Bengaluru hosts millionaires who built IT companies but did not do any due diligence before buying their homes and offices if they are in flood zones. East Bengaluru from Marathahalli to Bellandur was swamp region. The migrants even today ask for homes near to their offices. This has resulted in chaos.

@@TheGuruNetOn buzz words, moralizing and nostalgia are not concrete actions. We are pushed away from understanding the tradeoffs and start assigning blame.
      Serious solutions to water crisis:
      1. No more 5 rupees borewell RO. If water is not ecologically cheap, it shouldn't be economically cheap. Let water be 75/- per can.
      2. We can no longer restore the lakes as critical public infrastructure such as the metro, power grid stations, sewage treatment, ring roads and even govt offices are built on them. Time to create a new topography.
      3. Spread philosophy is a serious challenge to water preservation, rw harvesting and creating STP Infrastructure. Ban all private layouts and incentivise living in apartments.
      4. Plan for a growing city not efficiency, we wasted most of our time trying to "preserve pockets of BLR".
      5. Stop growing non native water guzzling soft wood trees where they are not supposed to. They need to be watered even at maturity.

i live in kerala untill 2020 we used to get water almost everyday through water authority which was fit to drink directly from pipes even for kids (i got it checked for fun actually ) but in the last few years the water comes at max 3 days a week and the water quality got bad (its still drinkable but not good as before and its not recommended to kids) the only thing that improved is the leakage of water through the pipes laid by the authority which has drastically reduced

One borewell is good for irrigating a plot of 1acer . In 1 acer you can build 24 houses ( with road and other things) . Imagine 24 houses each having an individual borewell . Within a few years all borewells will become dry. 5rs RO drinking plant takes out 20Ltr to give 2-4ltr of fresh water. So , what the govt does to curb these ?

    • @rutvikrs
      @rutvikrs 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

-Build more RO. Paste a gaudy image of neta, 5 passport size Gunda, 22 stamp size chela on the board.
-Water is a human right ninakkan. 5 rupees is already too much for your face.
-akchualy the problem is migration. Outside people ruined my town I moved into 8 years ago. 😭
      - Tankers bisnis is entrepreneurship and job generator ok?. My shoulder hurts, call that boy from Jharkhand/Bangladesh. Ok?

Given the escalating water scarcity issues in Bangalore, investors are advised to reevaluate their current and future investments in the city. Shifting focus to Hyderabad could be a strategic move, as this city does not currently face such severe water challenges. This relocation might offer more sustainable operational conditions, potentially leading to better long-term business stability and growth. Furthermore, Hyderabad's growing infrastructure and business-friendly environment make it an attractive alternative for investors seeking a more reliable and resource-abundant base for their operations.

Bangalore is sitting on an errupting volcano. There is no restriction on digging the borewells. The traditional lake system is destroyed. Unplanned and unsustainable growth of the city.
I hope serious course correction is made. With harvesting rain water to the maximum. Eliminate consumption of single use plastic in FMCG.
Reintroduce Milk booths like ATMs. Removed plastic packeging for edible oils, food products, improve good quality.
I am optimistic and hopeful of a positive change.

In Chennai, there are two desalination plants plus one more in pipeline plus Krishna water supply plus many rain water harvesting at homes done as a drive by TN govt recently have kept water issues at bay. Bangalore has no desalination solution available but rainwater harvesting should be made compulsory in all homes.
