Using City 5th generation since March 24, agree with this review. City is indeed a Best Car & Better than almost all compact SUVs in market. NO GROUND CLEARANCE ISSUES, VERY COMFORTABLE SEATS AND DRIVING EXPERIENCE...🎉

Bought the new Honda city last week on Aug. 19. comfort always top line. rear seat space and comfort always at peak. Honda had done such nice work. we family of 4 members in the car but no ground clearance issue faced. I have got V variant with elegant edition. The ride was comfort to top. the mileage was around 12 to 14 inside the city and 17 to 19 on highways on average speed of 80 to 100kmhr, before his car i had a 1999 Maruthi esteem vx still having that car with me now. even though i bought a new car still i love the esteem car bcoz its more sentimental value to my family. The reason i bought Honda city is that my family should feel the comfort that the car gives. not another segment according to me will be much more comfortable than these sedans. thank you for reading the comment :))

I now realise why people tell Honda City is evergreen. If you are looking for a Car within 20 lakhs segment Honda City is just the classic and you can never go wrong with such a beautiful yet powerful car. It is just too smooth and comfortable. 🤩

  • @ASHISHKNAINAN27

Been just over 4 months, adding my 2cents:
Very driver friendly. I do an average 2,000km every 3 months or 8,000km a year. I have done 500km in a day, a you dont feel tired. Minimum body roll and the handling is top notch. City run mileage around 14kmpl and highway 18-19kmpl.
CVT has been really helpful. And there is enough power on tap, even for quick overtakes.
Sensing- Helps you keep lanes and highway cruise becomes super easy. If you are a sedate sensible driver, you will do 100kmph easy.
Safety: Absolutely. So planted and 6airbags.
Grouse: A mild hybrid would have made this car future proof for the next decade. But this is wishful thinking.

Very good review. Amazing to see how Honda competes with its non-turbo, non-GDI engines with newer cars. Still the best in terms of reliability. Imagine a turbo on a Vtec? Big salute to Honda. If one doesn't want to follow the trend and is ready to make an intelligent decision, City and Virtus are the best choices that will not deceive you any day(assuming a proper driving habits)

Driven my 5th Gen Honda city for 7k kilometers and heres my honest take ( manual Zx)
Test driven virtus and city and immediately felt in love with city because of its handling and steering feedback. Virtus 1.0 felt underpowered and clutch is very stiff
    No issues with ground clearance
No tyre issues as described in various reviews , car feels properly planted upto 100/110 km in highway. Theres no need to go beyond that speed
Ride quality excellent. Seats amazing. To drive the car is absolutely relaxing. Did a 700km stretch on nh16 for non stop 15 hours.
Only issue i felt is tyre noise at high speed, which specially becomes irritating if you are driving in concrete roads at highway.
FE 17.5 avg on highway, got 20+ on few stretches. City ride around 11.5

Its a Really Great Car but
    1) The Tyres need to Be Wider
    2) Honda Should Provide Ventilated seats at this price
3)Infotainment System needs to be Updated or made Similar to that of Honda Elevate.
    4) The Angle at which the Infotainment system is Placed is not right. Cannot see the screen properly on Sunny Afternoons.
Thats it. If this Car does these Few Basic things then no one can beat Honda City in this Segment.

I purchased a Honda City CNG in 2013 iVtec. (S -Manual Transmission ). In 11 years it has been driven 1,56,00O kms. Excellent quality and supreme comfortable seats even after such a long time. There are 6 people in the family including 2 small kids and 2 grand parents and me and my wife. We can easily travel 100 kms a day and NOT feel tired even then. Very luxurious car but also very very expensive to maintain. For eg Suspension replacement after 7 years costs 40,000, brake system replacement after 10 years costs 35,000 and average servicing cost is Rs 8000 to 14,000 per annum. It's not cheap to maintain, and not a fuel efficient car by any choice. It gives 18 km/litre on Highway and 14km/litre in city. But otherwise it is a luxury car but it comes at a premium. Very expensive to maintain, especially if you move from Maruti to Honda. We earlier drove Maruti Esteem VXi for 1,42,000 kms. That was a true luxury car as well. Honda city is class part. It has all luxury features of a 25 lakh sedan. Rear and front seat quality and comfort is A+.

Your car review needs to be quick and nibble with words, i literally had to listen at play back speed at 1.75x.
Kept on same torque converter review again and again.
Its a paid promotion and you should timestamp on the TH-cam video.
Car is good as i own it.
But i wasted my time watching this video as i didn't get any valuable information from the video 😢

It's a good car but not as good as Virtus or Slavia or even new gen Verna.
    Drawback:
    1. Thin stock tyres
    2.Fit and finish
3.Build quality is not as good as it's alternative
    4. Poor infotainment

Very less mileage and low ground clearance is main reasons people go with SUV

Nope it depends on your driving style gentleman you will easily get that much of average in city and upto 21 on highway.
Car is very good you cannot go wrong with City.
Just change the tyre size you will be amazed by the outcome.@@honestthinker6623

The problem is it needs a refresh, otherwise it is a great car. Honda needs a new look inside & out for this car.
