Whatever, but it shouldn't have performed this bad on concrete while being a low monocoque sedan body type car. Fwd are great at drifting too, & not all Rwd are good at it, for eg :- Ladder frame Suvs with high gc at rwd still does bad at drifting as compared to a fwd hatch.
this car has a good balance, in day to day life one needs comfort more than these drifts though.. verna has a long wheelbase (new one). and it is long, the steering isnt direct so it won't communicate that much. with a little stiffer suspension set up honda city would have been the winner among all. and one can definitely change their car's suspension in future right? The chasis of city is stiff enough. in fact more stiff than verna. The City RS in philipines or malayasia sells way higher than verna. To me City = most balanced handling here. can do everything but not the best in any thing here.
Stiff suspension isn't good at all for a sedan, look at N-line cars with worser ride comfort than regular due to stiff suspension, it's for agility not stability though. And regulars like Verna has soft suspension being a good thing for comfortable ride quality which is needed in a sedan, the Verna is more stable & has better ride quality due to it, although soft suspension only becomes problem for bumpy roads.
Bro you have to check car stablity by turning on the vehicle stability control when you turn off traction control that also turns it off i personally driven both the city is more stable and better in handling then the verna ! You are checking the car by turning off traction control .
Verna only has soft steering as drawback & hence can feel unstable at high speeds, but is actually more stable than City, also steering response is slightly sharper on Verna. Light steering is due to keeping parking ease factor in mind.
Joypur Jungle airstrip. Piardoba Airfield is what it is. 6 km from Bishnupur town. Its not a secret its just an abandoned British airstrip from the WW2 era. A very popular tourist spot. Dont know what's the security reason, when you can literally get the pics of Google.
Soft suspension is for comfortable ride quality, the Verna is more stable than City. Verna also has soft steering for parking ease but can feel vague & in-confident at high speed due to it being too soft. Nonetheless, Verna is a more responsive(for steering output), stable & better engineered car & has better engines overall too.
@@johndavidson3424 Blud are you mad We have both Rapid and 5th gen city even my friends who Own Virtus said city is way better than verna . Verna is shit in terms of handling , braking and high speed stability Zero Driving Dynamics. Verna feels super light and doors are so fragile.
@RohitTripathy07 Being super light is a good thing, lol, & except for feeling disoriented for driving dynamics, nothing u said makes sense. Verna also has a solid built feel which the City lacks, braking may not be best but rear disc Vernas exists too, each & every component like power window switch is better in the Verna. I get it if u meant the light disoriented steering is bad for experience at high speed, but there ain't no way a City is more stable than a Verna, unless you're smoking, so there's no need to argue then. Btw, no one cares what your friends yap about, City isn't comparable to all this, your Rapid has better engines than the City, Virtus better than your Rapid, & Verna has better engines than Virtus & Vento, with the new 1.5l TGDi ver. being the fastest in it's segment ever in India.
@ blud city 5th gen is rock solid verna is still literally a trash can with 6 airbags barely was able to achieve 5 stars with unstable body shell just because you own verna or love it does not mean its the best 🤡 Verna's sheet metal is feather light and adding to that comparing a Korean shit hyundai with legendary ivtec and tsi's is joke itself.
Surprised that you didn't blow a tyre drifting on concrete. Usually drifting is done of tarmac or bitumen surface and preferably a rear wheel drive.

Honda city 🤴 of segment period.❤😊
Lets compare 10 year maintenance cost eg. Only Headlight
1. Verna -20,000
2. Virtus - 21,000
3. Slavia - 20,000
4.corolla -20,000
5. Ciaz - 4000
6. City -6000
Only suzuki and honda honestly make good car.
City's LED headlights cost 33k each. Maruti's LED setups also cost 15-20K for cars like XL6.
Nice drifting ❤

Can you please conduct the same test on a Verna too?

Unfortunately, i won't be disclosing any specific location due to security reasons. Just that this is an old airstrip.

Dude, hyundai verna's suspension is too soft. City has a balance
Will have the comparison video soon
