So, diesel made more sense. Very happy to see others happiness put together in a video like this. Great work and genuine conversation. By the way, we only checked 1.0 Slavia, and I did not like it - engine not refined in 1.0 and nobody told us this 24th flash sale trick for 1.5L engine. My dad liked Skoda more, the look and feel inside and out however, I was slightly concerned about fuel economy in city for that 1.0L engine.

Pranay, congrats on the new car. Your first video with Siddhant was the inspiration for me to get my used Skoda Rapid. These videos are very informative and really delivers good insight if you're trying to buy a car. Keep up the good work.
Not some rocket science. If you buy a 2023 manufactured car in mid of 2024, discounts are bound to be hefty. No one buys Skoda cars in India (market share is below 5%), which is why they offer great discounts. A hyundai or a maruti wouldn't give this much even if there's a small chance that a car would be sitting in the yard for 6+ months!
@@vardanrathi7777 Haha yes. Plus these cars aren’t reliable for Indian roads. Maintainence cost goes up like crazy after a couple of years. Some or the other issue comes up time to time that just drains your money and time.

But, VW group doesn't give any warranty beyond 5 years in India. For fuss free ownership I request you to change gearbox oil every 3 years or 35,000 km. Please dont go what ownership manual says. Your vehicle will last for long time. 😊
@@pranayk37 Hi Pranay, i would suggest that you change your engine oil every 9-10k kms or after 8 months. These cars have direct injection (GDI) systems which will clog up with carbon buildup and if you change the oil according to the service manual then i am sure the engine will go kaput in 6-7 years or 1L kms. Additionally, consider using injector cleaners (fuel additives) periodically to prevent injector malfunctions. Alternatively, you could use high-octane fuel occasionally.

Thank you for taking the time out and sharing your feedback, really appreciate it! To be honest and as you probably know, a video set up is quite costly and the bill can run in multiple lacs. I've tried to focus on audio to ensure that people can hear us fine and glad to learn that it's working. For video, I'm planning to rent a studio in NCR and start there. Hopefully that will improve the video quality and angles! Thank you once again!
Of course! I understand your concerns. However, I also know that footing a bill for studios can be costly as well. In case you want to do it at home, I'd suggest you invest in lights. PK, this is great info for car chaps like me. One episode to cover 15 year+ used german cars too. They're sold very cheap but are the engines still good? Are they really luxury cars even after all those years?
Don't need a video for that, simple answer is that I personally wouldn't go for them. And at that age, the cars are out of warranty + insurance will be limited. I'm sure there are outliers, but I don't want to take that chance.

Hi Pranay, I found the video very insightful and loved the format. Congratulations on the new car and on a very good deal! I wanted to ask if there were any risks with buying a model that was manufactured 6-7 months ago apart from the couple cosmetic features that you would not get. This would be the physical condition and wear and tear from being parked in the stockyard all this while. I am assuming the PDI then becomes doubly important but would love to get your perspective regarding that.
You're right on the PDI - it becomes very important. But beyond that not much. The only other thing worth considering is maybe the tyres. Their life goes down by a bit but they are covered for 18 months under warranty so I made my peace
Discounts from Exshowroom price? How it is possible. Where can we find the stock availability. Since all the south indian showrooms are started saying like NO 2023 cars are available
I found a pre owned kushaq from spinny last year Went for the service record to skoda dealer. Got a demo for a lower price and became first owner. Car has many issues but they’re fixing it slowly
Have you considered car lease programs via employer (if it applies to you) which would save a lot in terms of tax and you don’t have to go for a loan at all. I wonder how these corporates like GroupWe will play in such scenarios
Hello Pranay, Thanks for all your great content. I have really started to like your no-nonsense videos. Can you suggest if there is any option like GroupWe in Bangalore??
I kinda have the same story, from looking at used luxury cars to buying Skoda Style 1.0 MT at 15.8L only. You gotta grind those dealerships to get an actual cost.
I Have 3 questions. 1) How is your registration cost only 25,000 (is it due to BH) what is the cost of non-BH then. Secondly I see you bought the insurance from them. Was it zero debt? Third, Did they voluntarily gave you free SMP and warranty?
1) it is due to BH. Without BH it would be somewhere close to 1.4L 2) bought insurance from groupwe, it is zero dep 3) SMP and warranty came as a part of the deal. Didn’t have to negotiate separately.
Thankyou for such a detailed insight on the process ! We w re considering a Skoda as our next car and getting to know all this will really help! You missed Jeep Compass while searching! My family got that in 2023 and it is a sexy tank equipped with luxury and decent performance! Ours is petrol with dct but sadly it's not here after BS6P2 but diesel would've been great buy too! ( Both the engines of Jeep have better performance numbers than Slavia 1.5 )
Glad you found the video helpful! Jeep compass is almost 2X the slavia at close to 30L, and a diesel engine. For those reasons didn't consider it, however its build quality isn't lost on me :)
Please see my video if you can th-cam.com/video/_k8lyQzJmhE/w-d-xo.htmlsi=Q6aquvs3fY9Ka9r0 It started out as a benefit for govt employees and was later extended it to some private employees as well.. all explained in the video

Hi Pranay, thanks for such an informative video on this, I myself am looking for a slavia deal, I reside in Kolkata and saw that Groupwe doesn’t t have services here, any alternatives to that you could share with me.
I have a question regarding the transfer of ownership when selling a BH-registered car. What if the new buyer doesn't fall into any of the four categories eligible for BH registration? Will they still be able to buy the car? Will they face any issues after purchasing it since they are not eligible for BH registration? Kindly clarify.
The new buyer needs to be eligible for BH. The other option is to get the registration changed to a state registration, you can use an RTO agent for the same. I'm banking on my network to sell this car if/when I choose to sell it
Mg Astor turbo is still available, the Showroom wala gave you a biscuit…. Because most of the people don’t opt for turbo because of the mileage issues… coming to Skoda dsg it’s true as that transmission heats up in city traffic and tends to fail and it’s repair cost is very high… Torque Converter/ AT is the most trusted transmission.
Hi Pranay. Loved the video and subbed instantly. Was wondering if there are any platforms like GroupWe that are available outside UP, Haryana and Delhi. Their site shows that they are only available in the said regions
Thank you so much brother! I am looking to buy a Slavia too although in Bangalore. This gives me a good idea for bargaining with the dealer or maybe I should wait for the 24th of this month :) Is the flash sale just for this year, is it there in all the months ?
Yes, please wait till the 24th. Align a dealership beforehand to ensure that if the deal is good, you select the right dealership at the time of booking. It has been happening for a few months so I expect some discounts to come this month but let's see
Was your car MY23 or MY24 ? If this has been happening for a few months, why don’t people know ? I know this started in the month of March this year. Wasn’t the dealer pissed ? I don’t know how Skoda can antagonise its dealers by letting customers buy a car online 😅. It renders the dealers obsolete. How much discount on the ex-showroom price do you think can I get ? GroupWe is unfortunately not in Bengaluru. Thanks.
Loving your transparency, this whole dealer bullshit is crazy, there should be a thing like autotrader in india to connect owners and bidding system, i bought a cla petrol 2016 model in 2020 for 19 lakhs, i'm the 3rd owner and loving it. Will be selling it soon though.

Their life goes down by a bit but they are covered for 18 months under warranty so I made my peace
sir,can we go for slaviya base model?
But if you booked from the Skoda website, how did you get the GroupWe Discounts in the Invoice? Just curious to know, planning to own 1.
Because you only pay the booking amount of 20k to skoda. Rest has to be paid to the dealer
I don't usually like a video. It's been a year. Glad to save this wonderful video which helps a lot of novice people out there. Thank you 🙏
Oh wow 😲
Glad I was able to break your streak of not liking a video!
Discounts from Exshowroom price? How it is possible. Where can we find the stock availability. Since all the south indian showrooms are started saying like NO 2023 cars are available
2023 cars are probably sold out by now :)
4:25 why didn't you consider Honda?
I speak about it later in the interview. Elevate didn't have a safety rating and honda city is rated 4 star.
virtus should i consider over slavia?
They're the same. Whatever you prefer
please let me know if the flashs ale is still going on? I went to the site but couldn't find any leads..
No it's not. This month on 24th they only offered a discount on kodiaq
Is the registration cost is after discount on ex -showroom ?
Nice decision 🌹❤️pre meditated I ll rather quote in this way 🙏
I think the 2024 Slavia comes with 6 airbags in base variant. Huge difference for people who are on a budget and are considering the 2023 model.
The top model I got has 6 airbags too. But I get your point
I found a pre owned kushaq from spinny last year
Went for the service record to skoda dealer.
Got a demo for a lower price and became first owner.
Car has many issues but they’re fixing it slowly
Thanks for sharing your experience
What issues?
Kudos Pranay, I’ll wait till next year for the 25th anniversary discount😂
😂
Of the 2 siblings any particular reason for you to choose SKODA SLAVIA over VOLKSWAGEN VIRTUS?
Money money money 💰
Was indifferent between the two but VW didn't have this deal
Have you considered car lease programs via employer (if it applies to you) which would save a lot in terms of tax and you don’t have to go for a loan at all. I wonder how these corporates like GroupWe will play in such scenarios
Doesn't apply to me, my company doesn't have that program. But yes, car leases do make sense specially for those in the 30% tax bracket
Hello Pranay, Thanks for all your great content. I have really started to like your no-nonsense videos. Can you suggest if there is any option like GroupWe in Bangalore??
No idea 😐
Congratulations bro
Thank you so much 😀
Great content, thanks guys! Hope you improve on editing. I was expecting a comparison table on screen at one point, then at 37:20 screen went blank!
Thank you for making it so far and thank you for your feedback!
I kinda have the same story, from looking at used luxury cars to buying Skoda Style 1.0 MT at 15.8L only. You gotta grind those dealerships to get an actual cost.
How much of a discount on ex-showroom price were you able to get ?
What was the ex-showroom price you paid ? Asking as I am looking to buy a Slavia.
Also, is it MY23 or MY24 ?
Mine is MY23
congrats on the new car, could you do one on how to get the most when selling a car?
Good suggestion, will keep in mind!
Without BH it would be somewhere close to 1.4L
2) bought insurance from groupwe, it is zero dep
3) SMP and warranty came as a part of the deal. Didn’t have to negotiate separately.
love your car related videos and the way you talk keep these videos coming. love from kashmir 💗💗💗
Thank you ❣️
Thanks from Kashmir, India
Any idea if Škoda does the flash sale every month? Or are they doing it this month on the 24th?
They’re done for 2024
How to do the booking online on 24 th for kushaq ? Explain the process
Where does that flash sale happen and how to navigate through that
Can someone explain why BH number plates are cheaper?
Please see my video if you can th-cam.com/video/_k8lyQzJmhE/w-d-xo.htmlsi=Q6aquvs3fY9Ka9r0
It started out as a benefit for govt employees and was later extended it to some private employees as well.. all explained in the video
Can you please let us know which Bank is offering Floating rate of interest ?
Keeps varying but afaik most public sector banks offer it if you ask
Just saw a silver slavia outside lol. Crazy coincidence but the car looks so damn good.I’d buy it in a heartbeat
It does! The looks have definitely grown on me. For the longest time I used to prefer a Virtus but a dual tone silver slavia looks pretty neat!
Great ,crisp, detailed that's how videos should be. But why you didn't consider the city hybrid??
Wanted a 5 star rated car. Love the city though but also found this deal to be better value for money
@@pranayk37 city has scored 5 stars in ASEAN ncap which is considered more stricter than GNCAP , though slavia 1.5 dsg at 16.14 is surely a steal deal. Happy miles to you and your fam. 🤛
Hi Pranay, thanks for such an informative video on this, I myself am looking for a slavia deal, I reside in Kolkata and saw that Groupwe doesn’t t have services here, any alternatives to that you could share with me.
Congratulations Pranay🎉
Thank you! 🙏
Hello Pranay!
Congratulations for your car, and luck as well!
Wish you many happy miles :)
Thank you! 🙏
I'm banking on my network to sell this car if/when I choose to sell it
This is so brilliant. I’m in Kolkata and I’m trying to help my Dad zero in on a Slavia in Mumbai. Would definitely try GroupWe.
Glad you found it helpful. Though the 24th sale seems to have discontinued..
Share tips on buying hycross hybrid!
Pretty difficult due to lesser availability
Which website I can check the offers on
Offers haven't been coming for a few months now
Pranay lovely video. Just wanted to check will it be good to go ahead with endeavour 2021 model
Depends. Price, maintenance history, condition of the car, km run, etc..
No comment on VW or was it not checked at all since Skoda gave the best offer?
Skoda was cheaper, hence
Hi guys , it's 24th today, I tried to get the rates of the slavia from their website, but there are no offers.
Correct. I posted about this in the community posts. They have an offer on Kodiaq
Hi Pranay. Loved the video and subbed instantly. Was wondering if there are any platforms like GroupWe that are available outside UP, Haryana and Delhi. Their site shows that they are only available in the said regions
Thank you for subscribing, really appreciate it! I'm not sure about other players like groupwe
watched this at ryt tym tq
Very informative and interesting video. Does Volkswagen offer the flash sale
Not that I know of
Pranay bro even Hyundai uses extra metal sheet for extra resistance bro 🌹❤️
Thanks.
What is BH registration?

Loving your transparency, this whole dealer bullshit is crazy, there should be a thing like autotrader in india to connect owners and bidding system, i bought a cla petrol 2016 model in 2020 for 19 lakhs, i'm the 3rd owner and loving it. Will be selling it soon though.
