What a lame excuse. Years back when the road conditions were even more worse, the Verna’s and city’s ruled then as well. It’s this useless compact SUV’s that have spoiled the market like anything. Good for nothing category. If the government lifts the tax benefits in this segment for manufacturers , then let’s see the loyalty of all these suv lovers. 😂😂

Well sedans depends on needs of an individual. Do you need foldable seats? Do you require more headspace? Do you require more ground clearance? Do you require more commanding view? Do you have old people at your home who struggles to get in and out of cars? Do you require easy ingress? If yes then you go for the compact suv. But if you need comfortable ride, value for money car, stable ride, loves to drive and don't mind the ground clearance, doesn't go offroading much or go for long drives, doesn't want to sleep inside the car, doesn't care about headroom... Then yes you can go for sedans.. Its not that people aren't going for sedans just like that.. Trust me I would take sedan over an SUV but i have my old parents my grandmother everyone I have take into account when buying a vechicle soo I have to look into ingress and outgress, more headroom as I am 6feet and i dont want to feel cramped inside, also I need foldable seats. If any sedan will give it the yes I would go for it but city doesn't verna doesn't. Because of that I am shifting towards the SUV no hate towards sedan but it is a use case scenario

reason almost all Indians are buying SUVs :-
    1. Random road conditions …. You don’t know or predict what kind of pot hole is waiting for you on next turn
    2. High beam LED lights blinking everywhere
    3. Bad driving style of people so …. Seeing Bonet is important

As someone who owned a City and recently moved to an Elevate, the only reason was underbelly scraping on speedbreakers around my home, which i have to deal with everyday. In fact, I had not got a Civic (old model) because my parking has a ramp where my neighbour's Civic's front used to scrape - imagine having to live with that day in and day out😢

And on a open road like the Mumbai Pune express way or the Hyderabad express way they just fly on the road. After sales have also improved over the years and now you have home pickup and drop for service and the RSA service and that both companies offer are just industry leading. I have 5 year of ownership experience for rapid and 1 year for virtus and I could not be happier.

VW/Skoda are getting deservedly ignored. Their spares and service is still very expensive. And their automatic gearboxes still have a questionable durability in bumper to bumper traffic of cities.

I own a Škoda rapid and a vw virtus both cars I regularly take out for road trips in ghat section and I took my rapid till Leh and virtus till to cola beach in Goa that don’t have any payed roads and big ruts in the road on a mountain side and both cars performed as good as any SUV they both are reliable and durable.

@@samanvayasrivastava559 German cars are made for open roads. It is when you're regularly driving in bumper to bumper traffic that they start developing problems. In Delhi Skoda has some of the worst resale value because our traffic is mostly on crawl and these cars develop problems regularly.

Sedans give best comfort and most of them have good ground clearance for Indian roads and also bit of off road driving which we barely do in day to day life. Love my Skoda Octavia 2.0 TSI which is a fantastic sedan in most of our daily driving conditions. This craze for SUVs is actually uncalled for

Hi Gagan, electric cars pe bhi NGT ka 15 year registration wala rule valid hai? Logically to nahi hona chahiye. Can you make a video on this? Diesel 10 yrs. petrol 15 yrs. what about EV’s life registration life? They don’t pollute while running so technically they should be allowed to ply on the roads indefinitely.
