بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
(171) - يَا أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ لَا تَغْلُوا فِي دِينِكُمْ وَلَا تَقُولُوا عَلَى اللَّهِ إِلَّا الْحَقَّ ۚ إِنَّمَا الْمَسِيحُ عِيسَى ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ وَكَلِمَتُهُ أَلْقَاهَا إِلَىٰ مَرْيَمَ وَرُوحٌ مِنْهُ ۖ فَآمِنُوا بِاللَّهِ وَرُسُلِهِ ۖ وَلَا تَقُولُوا ثَلَاثَةٌ ۚ انْتَهُوا خَيْرًا لَكُمْ ۚ إِنَّمَا اللَّهُ إِلَٰهٌ وَاحِدٌ ۖ سُبْحَانَهُ أَنْ يَكُونَ لَهُ وَلَدٌ ۘ لَهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ ۗ وَكَفَىٰ بِاللَّهِ وَكِيلًا
O People of the Scripture, do not commit excess in your religion or say about Allah except the truth. The Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, was but a messenger of Allah and His word which He directed to Mary and a soul [created at a command] from Him. So believe in Allah and His messengers. And do not say, "Three"; desist - it is better for you. Indeed, Allah is but one God. Exalted is He above having a son. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And sufficient is Allah as Disposer of affairs.
(172) - لَنْ يَسْتَنْكِفَ الْمَسِيحُ أَنْ يَكُونَ عَبْدًا لِلَّهِ وَلَا الْمَلَائِكَةُ الْمُقَرَّبُونَ ۚ وَمَنْ يَسْتَنْكِفْ عَنْ عِبَادَتِهِ وَيَسْتَكْبِرْ فَسَيَحْشُرُهُمْ إِلَيْهِ جَمِيعًا
Never would the Messiah disdain to be a servant of Allah , nor would the angels near [to Him]. And whoever disdains His worship and is arrogant - He will gather them to Himself all together.

I have found that most explanations of the trinity relies heavily on sophistry.
When they make statues of Jesus and Mary in churches, they have made them into God's. They even go against their own commandments.

Understanding of the scriptures is of great essence in interpretation however as the scriptures had said we are compass with much evidence. Please search for it, not about reputing but search to have an understanding. If the disciples have no understanding of what the scriptures said before Christ opened their heart of understanding how much people who read it literally
It is time we all understand the style of teachings by these scholars. They are have a peculiar mode and I think both are good for our Deen. As Muslims let's stop the bad comments and criticism.

Salamo3laikom, there has been some accusations against Sheikh Yasir Qadi from the brothers in Hyde Park with a huge fan base about the interview regarding the quran. Can you explain this?
he was talking about the different recitations (qira'at), islamophobs used it to propagate the idea that the quran wasn't preservered (which is absurd and it wasn't even the topic of the interview) the sheikh wasn't clear in formulating his statements which can happen to the best really and it caused a huge fuss for nothing.

Does not "ilah" mean "Ma3bud"? (Ma3bud → object of worship / Tafsir ibn Abbas)
And is "Invocation (Dua)" not a major part of "worship (ibadah)"?

Allah says in the Quran that HE did not say in the Quran anything less or more that were said in the Torah and the Bible. The Quran is repeating the same thing that were said in the Torah and the Bible. But HE did send the Quran and HE will be the one to protect the Quran because in the past, the Torah and the Bible were tampered and things were modified by human beings to suit their purpose. If Christians and Jews could have the unaltered Torah and Bible, they will see that the Quran says the same thing. Therefore, Jews and Christians cannot ask any questions about the Quran for the Quran is the truth and it is protected by Allah from any alteration. They have to question their Torah and the Bible or they have to read the Quran to know the truth. The Quran mentions things in the past. How we Muslims could have known that Jesus did Miracles because it is in the Quran as well as the Bible.
Yes yesss yessss, I was literally waiting for someone who would refute this point!!! There was this "apostate prophet" an ex-muslim, who was saying that how could Allah, who's supposed to know everything, make such an error, astaghfirullah!! He also made a video that the quran is misinformed about the jews, something about uzair is the son of God, but that they don't worship uzair. Maybe it's the same answer

@@nobodysnoob180 Nothing is divine nor has power except Allah. Otherwise, it's shirk. The black stone has no power to erase sins, but listening to Allah through his prophet kissing the black stone as part of haj does erase sins.
Similarly, washing one's limbs does not erase minor sins, but listening to Allah through his prophet taking ablution with water does erase minor sins.
Essentially, it's all about listening to Allah through his prophet.

Many Christians I grew up with they refer to Mary as mother of god.

So accurate 1 Ayat explain the view of نصارى of غسان and نجران .
The other 2 Ayat explain the view of other claimers to be نصارى
The claimers of 3 in 1 which they can't explain.
As they don't understand Allah in essence and attributes.
Nor روح القدس in essence and attributes
Nor عيسى in essence and attributes
Nor Maryam in essence and attributes.
And can't explain it themselves but try to give a reason to a belief propogated by their elders for which they invent theories.
If 3 are God the spirit and Jesus then what is the role of Maryam

Primitive Christianity existed before Catholicism
With the first explanation he overstaes the evidence for his case and he makes it waay too obvious that only Muslims who already agree with his point of view will agree with him .
The second explanation is just soo unfalsifiable it borderlines on been silly.

Isa in the quran and Jesus in the Bible are two different persons.. Isa was the son of Maryam the niece of Musa and Harun... Jesus has different genealogy... There is nothing to discuss about it
never heard Mary nor Isa being the niece of Musa and haroon. And saying the name in arabic doesn't make them different persons btw :)
I don’t agree with Yasir Qadri considering trinity as monotheism. Trinity is not monotheism . Its three gods . They just created a illogical definition that includes three gods as one . So no issues if Quran mention as three . Secondly Quran never explicitly defines trinity nor it was explicitly defined by Prophet Mohammed. Quran forbids trinity regardless any whatever form it is .
Finally Q5-116 doesn’t mention trinity i don’t think refer Mary as part of trinity. It only refer to as taken as deity or worshiped . Well catholic are being accused of worshiping Mary till this date . Even a simple search of youtube or google . So why accuse muslims or Quran?

The Ummah needs more explanations of this nature.
The reason Muslims don't know much about other religions is because we are comfortable with Islam, but the others are not at peace with their own beliefs.
Dawa in Islam is explaining Islam. Dawa for non Muslims is trying to attack Islam, because they don't have something better to present to their audience.
It's easier to claim Islam doesn't know Christianity than explaining and convincing someone that trinity is "real" monotheism, or it's logical....
Thank you polemicists for giving us more reasons to know Islam is the truth and the Quran is the real word of Allah and giving the opportunity to Muslims to teach you as well about the history of your own religion

Mary is worshipped in Jerusalem in a church called milk grotto.
Orthodox christians pray to Mary as "mother of god".
This is silly. Why would your allah ask about Mary if your false god doesn’t have misunderstanding that trinity is isa, maryam and false allah?

72) - لَقَدْ كَفَرَ الَّذِينَ قَالُوا إِنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الْمَسِيحُ ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ ۖ وَقَالَ الْمَسِيحُ يَا بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ اعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ رَبِّي وَرَبَّكُمْ ۖ إِنَّهُ مَنْ يُشْرِكْ بِاللَّهِ فَقَدْ حَرَّمَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ الْجَنَّةَ وَمَأْوَاهُ النَّارُ ۖ وَمَا لِلظَّالِمِينَ مِنْ أَنْصَارٍ
They have certainly disbelieved who say, " Allah is the Messiah, the son of Mary" while the Messiah has said, "O Children of Israel, worship Allah , my Lord and your Lord." Indeed, he who associates others with Allah - Allah has forbidden him Paradise, and his refuge is the Fire. And there are not for the wrongdoers any helpers.
(73) - لَقَدْ كَفَرَ الَّذِينَ قَالُوا إِنَّ اللَّهَ ثَالِثُ ثَلَاثَةٍ ۘ وَمَا مِنْ إِلَٰهٍ إِلَّا إِلَٰهٌ وَاحِدٌ ۚ وَإِنْ لَمْ يَنْتَهُوا عَمَّا يَقُولُونَ لَيَمَسَّنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِنْهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ
They have certainly disbelieved who say, " Allah is the third of three." And there is no god except one God. And if they do not desist from what they are saying, there will surely afflict the disbelievers among them a painful punishment.
