Rape is similar to a death event. The person either goes on fight mode and that is very rare, or goes on fright mode and dissosiates from her/his own body, and is just pralysed. Of course, because of that dissociation, the traumatic memory is sometimes '' missplaced'' in the hippocampus. May Allah save us from this kind of injustice.

Omg, thank you so much for this video! I was searching for this video, suphanallah! One year past I've got touched by a random man, a photographer in a photostudio. He basically trappes me and I first didn't know what he was doing but then I realized it was sexual assault/rape. I kind of still feel guilty sometimes that I went there. He basically promised me a job offer an trapped me, told me that on the shooting day there woul be a whole team and we wouldn't be alone. When I saw that there wasn't anyone besides the photographer I started to become suspuccious about the situation. Then the second time a guy from my workplace just invited me to a date/meeting etc. he seemed like a nice guy but yeah. I was really blaming my self a lot for this and I still do but at least this video gave me a lot of hope. Thank you so much I'm also trying to get closer to deen. 🤲🏻😖❤

There was also a very recent incident in Morocco happening to a young sweet innocent boy who after having to endure such a vicious disgusting act was then murdered. It literally shook the entire country and everyone is in uproar demanding the death penalty of this despicable person who admitted his guilt. It makes me so angry and it breaks my heart to know this happens on regular basis. True justice will be served with Allah.

Precaution measures also include following the guidelines of Quran and Sunnah . For instance not travelling alone , travelling early morning etc
Saying duas of leaving home, of starting journey , by following these we have strong feeling of security , we can read the translation of these duas and learn what we are asking for from our Rabb Al Hafeez , As Salaam , and Al Walee and

I think pornography is a big part of why this kind of thing is becoming so rampant. The men are becoming less human and more animalistic. We have a very sick ummah. Im so glad it is being addressed. I think the severity of the punishment is necessary. The shariah law has to be upheld in order to protect people from harm and violation of their rights. Allah's law is above everything.

Recently someone got slaughtered in the Mosque I go to and the police have the audacity to say it wasn't a hate crime. Everytime something like this happens they just say they have mental illness or put them on probation for just 8 months which our probation here still allows you to go Anywhere IN the province. It is such a warzone here in Toronto that every single crime you can think of happens on a daily to the point I don't know what to do.

Not true , listen to what was said at 11:05, 21:10 and at about 18:01. In Many under developed countries these things often aren't reported due to cultural stigmas. The west reports , investigates and records so we hear about it more. Just adding to the conversation.

molestation is very very likely to happen, regardless of in which country, because many parents is not aware that their own children, especially girls, were much friendlier toward other adults, such as their uncles. So every interaction in regards to your children and your own family members, like niece or sibling, should be supervised.

As salaamu 'alaykum sheikh, you're probably not going to read this. However, I hope your admins confer the message to you if they find it important. I never comment on videos, and now I'm only writing because I have no doubt that your intentions are as good as they can be and I know that you revise your opinions if need be.
I propose we leave the issue of women's clothing and the reason of being at any place at any time out of any discussion about rape or molestation. Like you've said, the fault is 100% on the perpetrator and that has nothing to do with what the other person is doing. It doesn't matter whether the woman was properly dressed, had any business to be in a certain place etc. These things may lead to invitations for flirtatious behaviour etc., but one who wants to flirt or have sex with the consent of the other party, does not go on to rape and molest. A person wanting to commit consenting zina, doesn't become a rapist or molester just because they want to have sex. A rapist or molester does not respect the other person's autonomy of their own body at all, loves the feeling of power, is very entitling, is a manipulator and aggressive etc.
Of course, there is a place and time to teach women and men to dress modestly, even take precautions to keep away criminals, but that place is not when we're talking about Islam's stance on rape and the causes of rape etc. Even bringing that up leads to ignorant people using this to always direct the attention to the victim and what she's done wrong in stead of justice for her. We should give the victims at least this dignity, that their actions have nothing to do with why they were victimized.

And evidence is questions and examination of accused as no1
    Doctor female preferably no 2
Investigative Officer for circumstantial evidence no3

As in our era as in حشر hands and feet and earth with no eyes can give evidence. And even 1 or 2 or 3 or 4 evidence will do if judge is satisfied by the level of evidence.

Of error is توبة and pain
    زانى
A habitual and addicted to زنا
Is 100 lashes in front of group of people. And to marry each other or a مشرك i.e equal to شرك
If 2 men or women restricted to confinement and given pain till repent not to do again .
If a husband or wife is only witness give 4 oaths and 5 th curse for punishment if spouse agree and if not then طلاق.
If a family accuse own woman or man confine in house till die or evidence come or accuser proven false.
If a محصن man or woman is accused 4 credible evidence and if unable then lashes and never to be taken as evidence, i.e all police stations and courts made known and take their testimony on that level unless 100 percent proven true

That assumes that there are pure witnesses. And these days DNA evidence. The wrongly accused have the right for protection. Death is often only for the satisfaction of the angered in many cases. (Accusations that come from hatred or revenge or for a cover up of one’s own weakness, or for some worldly gain like inheritance.) Not for the protection of a society. Many times rape occurs because of consensual meeting in secrecy +/-foreplay. Many a time not in a way of assault but from ignorance. Something that is less seen in Islamic lands but growing. This is a big difference between the US and other lands.
US law places “innocent until proven guilty” for a reason that people of these days are not of those whom were of consciousness of their Creator back when. They would not have the integrity to ask the important questions, but only assume.
Now surround the cultural issues of “don’t let anyone know, you will shame our family!” How are we to wed our daughter who is not a virgin!” Etc.
I believe in death for a death. But I can’t absorb the accusation of rape being automatically tied to a death penalty. And I believe the victim has the right to forgive if they wish, despite opposition. And the criminal would have to live in shame yet have a chance to repent and give compensation of some preset range.
The whole purpose is to keep each life from being tossed into the Fire. How are we as an Ummah doing that if all are not correcting our own families, institutions, and societies? How are we to neglect asking why someone would do such sin upon others and try to place solutions? Choosing to work at the bottom end to a quick disposal neglects the top end of the issue.
Prison time allows for one to reflect and learn from their actions. If not, then death is a clear choice for it is not upon just one individual, it is upon the society. Just thoughts from my own personal life’s experience and I had to voice my heart’s sense to choose a less aggressive view. It’s easy to become disconnected when not experiencing being a victim. Some victims don’t want to be reminded and be forced to relive such horror, in the public, in court, in front of their attacker, and move on in life in peace and patience of Judgement Day.

    • @sumanh9750

Unless you have an idea of the trauma a sexually assaulted person goes through please dont go around dispensing your 2 cents on mercy and forgiveness. Even if you do,and are speaking for forgiveness of an accused please limit it to speaking for yourself. Jail time is introspection time for accused? God knows on what basis you arrived on that probability for ALL. Some crimes can never be forgiven even in this world and rape is 1 amongst those- and rightfully so without doubt our lord has laid down repercussions for it subhanallah.

Rape is only allowed in Islam if the one being raped is not a Muslim. Speaking of which, whenever I bring up the FIRST part of Quran 4:24, Muslims will always bring up the REST of Quran 4:24 that allows for prostitution by paying the lady, and, has nothing to do with the FIRST part of Quran 4:24.
